I've grouped a few layers and  added a mask to this group. On top of that mask I've placed an adjustment layer. When I am masking/brushing out parts of that groupmask, I get hard right angular edges and no smooth blending like it used to be. As soon as I zoom in, the edges are gone. Switched of the GPU acceleration, restart PS, same problem. Working on WIN10 and updated PS to the last version. Came from PS 2018, no problem over there.

Hi,   I guess this is a bug report. I've been experimenting with the Neural filters since launch and had a bit of fun with them. However, while restoring an old photo I've come across one that appears to prevent the Neural filters window from loading (it seemingly loads forever resulting in me having to force close Photoshop).   Seems bizarre but I've been able to replicate this again and again with this photo, and it's the only photo where I have encountered this problem. Really not sure why this is happening as the other photos that have been working great for me are the same age/style as this one. It might be good to have a timeout for the Neural Loading screen I think. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well. After adding 4-5 sky images in a new group, PS freezes on the next addition. Had to force quit it. All the sky images were in a TIF format exported from LR.   This is on a new iMac running Catalina.

Hi Im having an issue, where in Photoshop 2020 (macOS Mojave 10.14.6) Save For Web is not working for certain files with slices (or nested smart objects).Ive tried different approaches and somehow couldt find a solution to this, unless have 2 options of Photoshop installed (2019 works fine)please advise what this could be (my co-workers are having same issue)

Hi!On latest two versions of Photoshop, there's a problem with pre-saved XMP-files. They appear in alphabethical order in Library - in XMP -subfolder, but when you open the File Info, the list is in mixed order. In other words, a big mess.Didn't find any solution for this. It's not a big problem, but really annoyning when you're fixing loads of pictures with different metadata.Fixing or help needed:)!P.S.Remote support didn't find any solution and thought that it's a bug.-Tommi-

Hi everyone,   I have a problem with Photoshop 2021. The length of the color list in the swatches is really big.     It wasn't that big before, and even on my large screen, it now just takes all the place.     I really need to have all my colors at a time instead of clicking to get them out, get them in, get them out…   Thank you in advance    

I use switching between images using Command ~ shortcut in the Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar, or Full Screen Mode to compare the changes I've done between 2 versions of an image.This isn't working on 21.1.0 on the new Mac Pro. When in Full Screen Mode (with or without Menu Bar), once I switch between 2 images twice, regardless if I select them in the menu or press Command ~ the image shifts to the left half of the screen and the rest of the screen is black.Screengrab attached, the pixellated thing is sample image. It's not showing anything in the black area.The only way to get rid of this problem is to untick 'Use Graphics Processor' in Performance, which obviously I don't want to do. The settings in 'Advanced Graphics Processor Settings' have no effect on it, tried unticking all boxes and using 'Basic' drawing mode, and some other combinations.System info:Mac Pro 7,1 2019GPU AMD 580XOS X Catalina 10.15.3I tried 21.1.0 on my old 2013 Mac Pro and no problems. I own a MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019 with a AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB card and 16 GBs of Ram memory. Mac OS Catalina. 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9. 1 TB SSD.   Whenever I'm using a Sidecar display (iPad) with Dimension, it doesn't recognize the AND card and states that the application is unable to run. If I turn off Sidecar, it works correctly. I need it to work with sidecar in order to use two monitors.   Also   Whenever I'm using a Sidecar display (iPad) with Photoshop, the image inside Photoshop's canvas is clipped and will not be displayed correctly until I turn off Sidecar and restart Photoshop. I need it to work with sidecar in order to use two monitors.

A value between -213.33 inch and 213.33 Inches is required. Closest value inserted.   I'm using Photoshop 22.0.0 but I see that other versions are having the same issue with regard to limiting values. When I try to move an object by entering a value in Properties, I get the message above. However, I can drag the object beyond those values and I can also place guides outside those values using "New Guide".   My next issue is this: Why would customer support for products as frequently used as Adobe's be CLOSED on weekends???   Lastly:  WARNING! WHEN I TRY TO SELECT FROM THE LIST PROVIDED UNDER "TAGS" ON THE POSTING PAGE, THE SCREEN GETS STUCK. THE "CLOSE" OPTION IS UNRESPONSIVE, SO I HAD TO CLICK THE BROWSER "BACK" BUTTON TO LEAVE THE PAGE CAUSING ME TO LOSE ALL THE INFORMATION I ENTERED INTO THE "DESCRIPTION" BOX.

Hi,I'm experiencing this issue within Photoshop CC 2018/2019:1/ I create guides around smart object.2/ When setting up Perspective Warp grid, I position perspective grid corners at the smart object corners with the help of snap to guides.The result is Program Error and even the Perspective Warp hes been applied, I cannot do anything and even cannot save the file because of program error message. I have to delete smart object to be able to save the file and continue to work. I got this issue on Windows and OS Mojave.The latest 20.0.7 update did not solve this.

I have a 37 sec, 1080p, 60fps video that I applied smart filter on with liquify settings. My pc spec: ryzen 9 3900x, rtx 2060 6GB, 64gb ram.    When export/rendering it after a while it crashes. As for now, I have latest photoshop and nvidia drivers. It also crashes on my second computer.   BTW, I don't have E: disk, so no idea what that error refers to.   It doesn't crash when I just export the video without liquify.

i keep getting this message when i try to do anything in photoshop a second time what i mean is when first opened photoshop works when i close the first image the go to do anything else i get the message: Could not complete your request because of a program error.i have uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop cc but no difference i have taken a couple of screen shots which i hope will give you more information i hope you can solve this problem as i am at my wits end

I am sure you are overloaded with grips about the new Start Screen. My particular problem is that Photoshop does not appear to have focus when first open with Window 7, at least. This means that shortcuts, like Ctrl o don't do anything, and nor can you run an Action after opening Photoshop. Clicking anywhere on the Photoshop window (not just the Start Screen) fixes this.

The Clone Source Cursor cannot be seen on white in photoshop 20.0.5.(also applicable to the Healing Brush Tool)To test just make a new document with a white background, draw something with the brush toolor draw out a shape.Now try to clone the brush stroke or shape using the clone stamp tool and notice the clone stamp source cursor cannot be seen on the white background.https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2634651

upgraded to Photoshop 2020 and when opening or creating a new document it shows up as black. Just black.If I create another layer and (for example) color it white, it's still black. If I open a picture, it's black. you get the idea.Thankfully I still have CS5 on my machine.

After installing PS 22.0, there are problems with my sliders. For example, doing a Select / Color Range adjusting the "Fuzziness" slider is problematic. If I try to click on the arrow and slide, it won't move. When I unclick at my end point, it may jump to that point. My best bet is to just click at a point on the slider and let the arrow jump to it. If I try to click, hold, and slide, it will invariably freeze, at some point, and I have to force quit. I notice this also happens with hue/saturation.I'm on a late-2013 iMac, running 10.14.6. This also happens on a 2017 MacBook Pro, also on 10.14.6.Thanks, in advance.   Allan

My Brush Presets have Smoothing unchecked and locked in addition to Tool Presets and it's still enabled every time PS restarts. In fact, it's outright overriding my Brush Presets, they're all outlined in orange the second I click on them. Even the purpose-built "Default (No Effects)" Preset is affected and it's not linked to any Tools.Screenshot shows Smoothing still locked yet re-checked and re-enabled regardless causing the orange outline as the Preset knows Smoothing is supposed to be off... However, Shape Dynamics and Transfer settings ARE retained and staying set in the expected way. Smoothing says "f-you, I'll do what I want."Incidentally, what's up with the WHITE hightlighting in the entry fields of Collapsed ⇄ Expanded panels? (visible in screenshot)Lastly, good job on implementing this reworked Brush Presets managament. Hoping this Smoothing hiccup will be remedied quickly.

Ever since Select and Mask had been released, I've never managed to get it to work smoothly. Actually, when it was first launched, it probably worked the "best" but it still was a waiting game and was never quick. Is there an optimal setting? The quick selection tool is almost instant. I have a decent system but it struggles in Select and Mask. Please see video for demo of my experience. Also, see comments for system spec. Does anyone actually use it effectively? Or do you still use the "old method"(refine edge). This is excruciatingly painful - over 5 mins and I've still not manage to make a basic cutout  

I have a fairly small psd file (1920x1080) containing just a couple of layers (25) mostly embedded linked psd files (small - between 70kb and 400kb each). Now Photoshop (CC latest fwiw) sais, it can't save the document because it's bigger than 2 gigabytes. The document info sais Doc: 7,91M/50,9M... Now what? iMac 24GB RAM, Mavericks (latest), PS CC (latest)

I discovered the watercolor artist photoshop action set earlier this year and have used it to make beautiful pieces. I used it not even a week ago to make a piece but I updated Photoshop to Photoshop 2021 and suddenly it no longer works! I now get an error message partway through the action set saying "Could not complete your request because of a program error" and it won't finish rendering. I've already checked the original link where I downloaded the action set (https://creativecloud.adobe.com/discover/article/transform-photos-into-watercolors-with-a-free-photoshop-action) and they have updated it since the instalation update in November. I tried redownloading the pattern, brush, and action files and re-uploading them into Photoshop, but that didn't resolve the problem either. Anyone else having this problem or have any idea how to fix it? I'm supposed to make pieces for people for the holidays but now I don't know what to do!!!

There seems to be a bug on Photoshop and Illustrator for macOS BigSur 11.0 Beta (Adobe CC latest versions 2021) that when you try to replace an old file with the same file name, the window freezes (and the buttons become unclickable) and you pretty much have to force exit the application in activity monitor to get things running again.    Please see the screenshot for reference:  

In older versions, I used this combination (see image). Beginning from version 2020, stroke and shadow effects on a folder with Fill Layer do not work.

I have PS CC and when I try to export a simple psd which includes a text box as PDF when I open the file on mac with preview I realize that there's no whitespace in the text. I tried to set different PDF versions while exporting but the result is the same. Is there anyone experience this issue?

The enter key in the simplified test code below is not allowing users to create a new line within the edit text field (as expected). Instead, the modal is being submitted. The code works properly on OSX but not Windows.   I've mostly tried eventListener related solutions. So enterKey, onEnterKey, onChange, change, etc - then assigning them to different elements in the interface. Haven't been able to get those event listeners to fire, but if I could, would try event.preventDefault() or event.stopPropogation() as well.
