Photoshop CS6 sometimes can't save to my server, giving program error or telling me i don't have the rights to overwrite the file. We have to copy files on desktop, then edit, then save on desktop, then transfert to server, which is for us a serious problem. I don't know anyone in agencies not working on servers. Sometimes it doesn't give any error, sometimes it does...Thanks in advance!

When using Free Transform, holding down Shift while dragging a corner rightly constrains the proportions of the shape while resizing. However, holding down Shift while dragging a side handle does nothing. It should continue to constrain the proportions as it does in Illustrator.

In CC 2018, it was possible to animate a material on a 3D object. I am unable to do so on 20.0.4.The test setup is really straightforward: 1) Create a new, blank 1000 px square document 2) Create a new 3D mesh preset from layer, and make a sphere.3) Create a new video timeline.4) Double-click on the sphere's material in the Layers panel to open it.5) Add a layer, and draw a line on the layer.6) Create a video timeline, and keyframe the position of the "line" layer.7) Move the play head to another position and move the "line " layer to create a short animation. 😎 Save and close the material.On CC 2018, I could scrub the video timeline and watch the line move on the surface of the sphere.On CC 2019, when I scrub the timeline, the animation in the material does not play. Exporting the rendered video also does not include the material animation. This constitutes a major loss of functionality in the 3D area of Photoshop.

Hi everyone. I found that when choosing group blending mode as linear dodge, it would act in a differently from simply apply a linear dodge layer. An example: Upper one the adjust layer, lower one the 'adjust group'. (in case these helps: Layer 1 consists of deep blue& white, the two layers are white rectangles blurred using Gaussian blur.)The group only contains one layer in normal mode which has identical pixels as the adjust layer does.Same thing happens for color dodge mode, but not for lighten, screen and lighter color. Seems blending type related. Searched for blending methods and group blending mode, but came to that in this case they should work in the exactly same way... Did I missed or misunderstood anything? This is a quite interesting feature but I'm curious about the mechanism.Thanks in advance.

I can't export an individual layer in a Photoshop document if I created animations in the Video Timeline. Instead, Export As only exports the first layer I tried to export and not the one I selected. I have to close and reopen the document to export the layer I want.To set it up, there needs to be 2 layers in a document. The Video Timeline has to be enabled. One layer can have a basic Transform animation with 2 keyframes and the other layer can be moved on the timeline a bit. The cursor may need to be moved too. Trying to export one layer should work as expected. But trying to export the other layer will cause the first one to show up again, with no way of getting the other layer to export without closing and reopening the document.I am on Photoshop version 19.1.2 20180302.r.277Has anyone else had this problem?

Each time I restart Photoshop, the Save for Web dialog box forgets the preset I was using. I save to JPEG 99% of the time but PS defaults back to GIF. This is a newer problem — it cropped up a couple months ago though I can't remember which version. I know Save for Web is on its way out but until Export As catches up with my needed features this regression is annoying for me (especially since I restart a lot with flaky MacOS Mojave right now.)

Hey, community. I think I found some sort of a bug in Character dialog window. Basically i used to change any character parameter by scrolling on it's input field. It's super easy to change font, size, and other parameters. The point is that in Ps 2019 the only field which doesn't react on scroll is Font Style selection field. I think developers just forgot to set this option for Font style field. Otherwise i don't see any logical reason to disable this usefull option on this particular field. Thanks for support. 

Just installed CC 2018 on 2 fresh new computers, and everything works fine except for png image sequence export. When we try it just says "Could not complete the Render Video command because of a program error". Any idea why?

Hello In the IPTC Standart Extension version 1.3, there are a new item in the metadata structure called "Registry Entry Details" was added In addition of [Item Id] and [Organisation Id] the new standart added [Role] Unfortunatly photoshop don't use [Role] in the WMP windows (see scrennshot) When this new feature will be add in photoshop? So I keep having the problem with quick export not working. I have to quit Photoshop and go back in to get it functioning. This messes up my work flow is this a known issue or is it just me. Windows 10 - 64 bit most recent update to Photoshop CC 2015

When I open PhotoShop, it takes my computer a moment or two to open it (most of my PSDs are at least 2GB big), so I switch back to my browser to keep working, but every time there is an alert, or popup, or question, or it simply successfully opens the PSD, PhotoShop forces itself to the front, interrupting what I was doing in another window.It can be very frustrating, especially since I am more often than not in the middle of doing something.And I wish it was as simple as Alt+Tab-ing back to my window, but sometimes it just forces its way to the front again!I don't suppose this is a feature that can be taken off/switched off?

My issue is simple.   The problem: The photoshop tech documents from Apr 2019 say that it supports 64 exabytes of scratch space ( https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/optimize-photoshop-cc-performance.html ) but when i reach around 2.2TB - 2.5TB, i start getting "scratch disks are full" error even when there is plenty of space left on the disk and more on further disks in the scratch disk priority list (their order doesnt matter, it simply happens at 2.2TB+ no matter what disk is being used when thats reached). The scratch files are 68gb each and the last one at the error point is smaller than others, just like when i genuinely run out of space so it tries to fit in the last bit, except this is an invisible wall and there is still plenty of space and disks left.   To reproduce the problem: create a big document like at least around 5-7GB (can be more, this doesnt matter, but we will need multiple files, not one supergiant doc) by creating a canvas of say 150 000 x 150 000 pixels, scale

The latest adobe apps that support variable fonts doesn't support Arabic as the letters takes the isolated form without the basic Arabic features like initial, medial and final and so on   Is there any intention to support Arabic in the future ? We can to view the png file in finder mode. When we try to import png file, in the Photoshop, we receive the message: "Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file." Mac OS. Maverick Photoshop CS6

I have to process 40 images and using Export > Export As I have to browse to the path every time which is 9 folders deep.  It starts on Desktop every time.  Super fricken annoying!!!

Hello, I have discovered a nasty bug on Windows 10 64 Bit using the latest Photoshop Ver. 20.0.4 and previous PS versions regarding changing the size/value via mouse scroll. If it's any other color, it works as desired.

Since CTRL-F is now used to find something, the shortcut to apply the last filter is now CTRL-ALT-F. That means we no longer have a shortcut to open the last used filter dialog box so we can alter the settings. Why on god's green earth would Adobe change that? Do they really think we always apply the exact same settings every time we need to apply a filter? This was a shortcut I used dozens of times a day, and now I have to manually select the filter every damned time I need to apply it. Come on Adobe, this is just plain stupid.

I just recently noticed that if I'm working on a file, and say I have an active Text selection, and then I go and try to open a new document or an existing file, I cannot; the options are muted, but the Open Recent File option is not, however choosing an item from that list does nothing. Also while you have an active text selection, you cannot drag and drop (alternative way of opening an existing file) into the App's work area, even the edges.I'm using PS CC with an active subscription.

The brush preview in PS 2018 has changed so now it shows a dragged preview of the brush. I have many a custom brush that are meant to be singularly clicked, not dragged, like stencils. I cannot see which brushes are which anymore, because of this new preview and cannot find a way to change it back. PLEASE FIX THIS WITH AN UPDATE ADOBE, IT WAS FINE THE WAY IT WAS.As you can see, there is NO WAY for me to tell which brush I am using.The only work around is to go into the detailed brush settings but this is hassle for me when I need to quickly choose a brush.
