Camera Raw

I have a pretty powerful BOXX PC at work running windows 10. I have a new lens by Laowa that does not have a lens profile so I want to create a lens profile for use in Lightroom. I downloaded Adobe lens profile creator 1.0.4  and installed. I printed the sheet, took 9 images as directed. Then I uploaded the images as unedited DNG file via lightroom. Then ran the Generate profiles and I get "Detect corners failed because out of memory. Please select fewer images and restart". I have since tried it with even one image and it fails. I tried it with jpgs and that didn't work either. I have 32GB of RAM and  I have maxed out the Camera Calibration Cache to 50GB. Still no luck. Any ideas?

I hope someone can help without telling me to upgrade to newer versions.I OWN photoshop CS6.  It is not in a cloud. It belongs to me and lives on my hard drive.I have been using it mostly without issues ... until I noticed something strange a few days ago. I had been using CS6 and camera raw 9.1.1 for a while with absolutley no issues on my windows 7 system.About a month ago I bought a new super fast Ryzen 7 /windows 10 system. I now use CS6 on this computer. But there is a problem.When I use camera raw, and I use the mask brush (so I can change highlight/exposure/etc on selected areas) I can paint properly, the mask color I chose shows up and I can change settings for the selected area.... but I CAN NOT erase any portion of the mask I just painted.I had no trouble doing this on the old system.I verified today, with RAW files from Nikon D5 and D810. I can apply a mask wit the brush but I am unable to erase any of it. The mask color (I use light purple) remains everywhere

Hi all,I am having an issue where the camera RAW screen doesn't fit. The edges of the panel are cut and I can't see certain tabs and functions. There does not appear to be anyway to resize this window. I saw older posts from 2018 on this subject that were never resolved and it seems this is still an issue for some. Is there a way to resize the Camera RAW window?

Camera Raw opens with empty tabs.  Bridge doesn't open at all.  In Raw, I can still edit but have to do it "blindly"b/c there are no words (like "highlights", "shadows", "hue/saturation", etc).  Photoshop is fine.  Do you have any suggestions or ideas as to the problem.  I hope this screen shot will load.   

I purchased some ACR presets and copied them in the same folder where I got the rest of the ACR presets. When I first open Ps, ACR shows them but after going to Photoshop (I previous use ACR adjustments then open Ps) I open the file as a smart object and whenever I come back to the ACR filter the new presets disppear! The rest of them are there but not the new ones. I tried to delete them from the Adobe settings folder and launch them again, but to no avail. The owner of the presets told me it has never happened ans she´s already curious as to what could happen. I have the latest version of Ps and ACR. Tried with the 2020 version just in case, but it happens again! Someone please can help me?

Adobe Camera RAW version 12.4. Advanced Picture Settings Menu (Three Dots). What does it mean "Reset to open" (First item)?

The latest update in camera raw is creating a bug in the radial filter. Is there a way I can fix this?  I opened a file that I've created using a radial filter by color inside the camera raw (this camera raw was applied to a smart object) and as a surprise, I found strange circles in the image. I already updated my graphic card driver and turn off GPU use for camera raw but this hasn't worked.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated. 

Hello All,So I used to be able to make a profile in ACR and use in Lightroom and now, I can't figure out how to do that anymore. Does anyone have a tutorial on this? I have googled, and everything is from 2018 and doesn't work for the latest ACR. Any insight appreciated! Thanks!

Hello, I typically can find answers to simple issues like this one but cannot and I am about to give up.  I am trying to use Adone DNG Converter version 13.0.  It downloads and installs correctly on my Windows 10 machine.  But I cannot open the program.  It just does nothing.  I have uninstalled, redownloaded, etc.  No luck.  Any ideas?  I need to convert some Sony a7iii raw files to DNG.  Works like a champ on my macbook pro - just picked up this Windows machine and I am already having issues...

With Apple Big Sur I was forced to change the camera raw because the oldd one did'nt work anymore but I hate every second that I have to work with it. They should fire the person who invented this to change a perfect working tool into a disaster!On this way I'm goint to find an other solution to correct my photo's!PLEASE bring back the old version and I am not the only one who is complaining.I saw a lot of reactions who agree with me. So Adobe wake up!!!!!!!!

So ive been having this issue foir a while, and ive always just had to turn off GPU acceleration. but this is a real pain. its very troublesome to try to work without the GPU and or having to switch back and fourth. I'm useing 2x Geforce RTX 2080 Ti in SLI mode. I know that turning off SLI can also fix the issue but thats still just a workaround. having to switch back and forth between SLI on and off means i have to kill almost all active software. and i need the SLI to be on for other software (rendering in C4D). So here is my question... is this being worked on? can it please get fixed?its been around for going on two years at least. Yes, drivers are up to date.

Hello,i have a little problem with the color markings in Lightroom, Bridge and ACR.In Lightroom there is the option of renaming the colors under "Metadata" - "Color marking set", or there are 2 defaults, the Lightroom standard and the one for the bridge.I chose the "Lightroom Standard" here.The colors have also been adjusted (red, yellow, green, blue & purple) in the bridge under "Preferences" "Labeling and rating".So far everything is fine. In the ACR I did not find any options to adjust the colors there, there is only the Bridge Standard (Selected, Second Choice, Approved, ...)Now to my question, how do I get this adjusted in ACR too? I use Windows 10 Pro version 20H2.Bridge version 11.0.0.83ACR 13.0.2Photoshop 22.0.1Lightroom Classic 10

I'm stumped. I'm trying to create black+white custom profiles from a LUT that I exported from Lightroom (via a 3rd party plugin). Using this new LUT, I'm trying to create a custom profile within ACR. The conversion looks fine, but it's clear that my new profile is still a color profile.  Because ACR and Lightroom both distinguish color profiles from monochrome ones, my question is how do I 'tell' my new profile to be monochrome and not color? Bonus points if you can also tell me how to add my copyright and contact info to the profile, too.

Is it possible to switch the crop tool to classic mode (as it was in Ps)?

The sniffer does not make the GPU available on the old ATI Radeon HD 6950 video card (ASUS). Is it possible to fix this without switching to the old version of ACR?

Nikon: Is there still an update 2020 or 2021 for Camera RAW Z 6II and Z 7II.

All was fine and then I tried to open another image from Bridge to Camera Raw and got this: The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no Camera Raw files selected or selected files were read only. I just did the latest update and no help. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Hi, in ACR 13.0.2.644 the zoom tool is not allowing me to click and drag a specific section of the image to enlarge. it only allows 1 step zoom and back to the entire image using mij wacom pen or track pad. I'm not using hardware acceleration as it makes the zoom annoying to me, I dont want to hold the button to zoom in and out by moving the wacompen, I want to click and drag to indicate which part I want to enlarge. Is this not possibe anymore?

Adobe Camera Raw won't download and open?

I am having issues with the 'Radial Filter' in ACR (v12.3.0.493) as well as the Camera RAW Filter within Photoshop as displayed below.Sometimes the issue is non-existent, other times the filter just goes all wonky and does something similar to the below. Thus far, I have been unable to discern any pattern to when it occurs. It would appear to be random. When it does exhibit this behavior, any edits I'm attempting to deploy with the filter are ignored and these oval patterns appear instead.For what it's worth....  - This occurs in Windows 10 on both a laptop and a desktop pc.  - It appears to be an issue ONLY with the Radial filer. Neither the Adjustment Brush nor the Gradient filter seem to be impacted.  - It also does not occur when I use the Radial Filter in Lightroom Classic.This all started with the most recent update deployed a couple weeks ago.Any suggestions?

Camera Raw updated today and does not work. I need to return to the version installed previously. 

I have been trying to group some creative profies that I created in ACR v.13 (on a Mac running Big Sur) as follows: "If you hold down Alt (Option on the Mac) and right click on a profile, you'll get the same context menu as before. Note: You may need to hold down on the right mouse button, as pressing Alt while the context menu is displayed will dismiss it.  When you select Rename Profile (while holding down Alt/Option), you'll get a different rename dialog."  (The Windows screenshot if from an online demo.)  No matter how much I try, I cannot get the "Cluster" textbox to show to allow me to group my profiles.  Does anyone know how to do this in the latest version of Camera Raw? Many thank in advance.
