Camera Raw

Hi,before the update to ACR 12.3 the adjustment brush would keep its settings as long as the user did not change them. Now I have to load one of my presets every time I switch over to a new picture. The old behavior was perfecet since one would sometimes work on similar pictures and therefore use the same brush settings over the span of several picture. Now it is as cumbersome and illogical as the use of the brush in LR. Who can think of this as a good idea?Cropping in ACR 12.3 is practically unusable for me (i7, 16Gb, internal graphics). It used to be fine, ACR used to be fine and fast. Not anymore.The UI changes are not great but something one will (have to) get used to. But changes in fundamental functionality are simply stupid. 

Hi!I recently bought a new camera; Canon 5D mark IV and now i cant open my raw files i bridge cs6 even though i updated everything it says.. and i need to fix this as soon as possible. please help me!

how do you change the defolt interface? after the update it was requested but now I can't find a way to change the interface

They forgot default button on each panel : for example, when I make changes in the color mixer and after continuing to work the image I see the colors should go back to default  I have to select colors one by one and set to zero again. Also the crop tool is horrible: if you make a selection for crop but want to remove (instead of resizing it) and select again you must go to the menu and 'reset crop' and then search again in a list for the aspect because it really resets the crop; yesterday I just had to click outside the image to reset crop but not the settings for new crop aspect.I believe they forgot to include the loupe also - I have to press a key in the keyboard to open the loupe but sometimes , until yesterday, I prefered to click on the loupe button. But I am still searching for the loupe. The new layout is weird and I really don't understand why these confusing changes.

Just updated to new ACR, when you crop in ACR is there a way to make the new image default to fit page? 

The cropping is reverse for me, cant select and crop. Also, when done editing photo and selecting "ok" it looks different within the program. SO PISSED!

Need some help with the latest upgrade (what an oxymoron).  Where's the mask in sharpening?  Thanks.

A couple of problems with the camera profiles for the Nikon Z7.1. When changing the white balance from "As Shot" in Adobe Lightroom or Camera RAW, the program creates a magenta cast on all Nikon Z7 images. This is true for all Adobe white balances and all the camera white balances. Returning the Tint slider to its original location removes almost all the magenta cast that was introduced. I believe this was an issue that was fixed for the Z6.2. There's something wrong with the way that Adobe is reading or applying the Built-in Lens Profile. It seems to apply the corrections correctly for the Z lenses, but when using adapted F-mount lenses the profile isn't applied even though Lightroom claims that it is. If you manually apply the profile for the F-mount lens, it gets applied correctly. This also impacts stitching in panoramic photos. I can get a perfect stitch from a D850 with the same lens whereas using the same properly adjusted for the camera/lens RRS pano system and same lens with a

Does anyone know where I can find the luminance slider in this new version of Camera Raw? I found the color mixer one but I cant find the regular one so I can use to smooth skin on a black and white photo. Any help would be appreciated! 

Please add Adobe RAW extention/add on to PS APP for IPAD PRO users the Raw options are not the same as desktop RAW features 

Hi, I've just updated ACR to the latest version 12.3 and I'm now experiencing a colour problem when opening previously adjusted files and then switching between the various profiles using the 'Browse Profiles' tab. When a previously adjusted image is opened the previously selected profile and colour is displayed correctly, but when I click on any other profile option and change the profile the colour is completely off, all options displaying very obvious green casts. This is only happening when changing the profile on some images, most behave normally. I've never experienced anything like it. Any help would be much appreciated. TIA

Vous avez déjà fait ça avec Bridge, c'est un programme qui était très bien, il est devenue d'une platitude totale, on a l'impression d'être dans les années 70. Et maintenant c'est au tour de camera Raw, passez-moi l'expression, mais vous êtes vraiment "chiant". Les onglets étaient quand même beaucoup plus pratique, maintenant il faut manipuler l'ascenseur c'est une grosse perte de temps. Cela ne présente absolument aucun intérêt.Why want to change the presentations at all costs. You already did that with Bridge, it's a program that was very good, it became completely flat, it feels like it was in the 70s. And now it's camera Raw , give me the expression, but you are really "boring". The tabs were still much more practical, now you have to manipulate the elevator is a big waste of time. Bug in ACR v11.1.0.112 @ Win10x64 with WB tool when selecting a region (left mouse button press and drag mouse pointer to select a rectangular region to perform WB) in Before / After View : when B/A View is either in "Before/After Left/Right" on in "Before/After Top/Bottom" state I can _NOT_ see the rectangle (showing area selected for WB operation) being drawn/displayed while I am dragging the mouse pointer while pressing the left mouse button... in 2 other states "Before/After Left/Right Split" &  "Before/After Top/Bottom Split" no issues

Just editing some photos in the new acr and noticed that any photo shot at 1/3200th sec is shown as 1/320 in the file info section top right corner. Other shutter speeds reported correctly. Bug?

I updated PS, CR and LR last night and now Olympus ORF files come up a mass of lines in Camera Raw. I solved this last time, but can't remember how. Need to get on urgently, so why does this happen?

Unfortunately, the following problem occurs constantly:If the repair brush is used to paint over an area adjacent to the edge of the image, Lightroom creates a color fringe of about 1 pixel width in the target area.The error is visible in the preview image and in the exported image, too.I use Lightroom 9.1 on MacOS 10.14.6.Add background with repair brush:Color fringe appears:Magnified 8 times:Edit: Changed second image to better show the issue.

whenever i open any type of dialogue box such as the camera raw filter or such, its all black and i can't see what im editing. the edits also do not get applied immediately. i have to move my canvas to see the edit apply

HiWhen I'm in full screen mode in Camera Raw filter in Photoshop CC when first click almost entire window is going to blank (see attached screenshot), and it gets back to normal when I press K for Adjustment BrushI had the same issue with my old Mac Pro and earlier Photoshop (OS X 10.7), but now I'm running on iMac 27, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB, 24 GB RAM.. OS X 10.11.3It happens almost all the time 😕😕Any ideas?Andy

In the old version of Camera Raw, it had a apply previous converstion to an image, but it looks like ithat feature has been removed - or moved elsewhere. Anyone know where this function is now?

The latest camera raw major update seems to have taken the database of corrections away? Now I get the .XMP files everywhere!

Salve a tutti questa mattina ho fatto l'aggiornamento, quando ho aperto camera raw mi diceva come volevo impostarlo è ho scelto la facciata nuova con le foto in basso e tutti gli strumenti a sinistra ma per tornate alla facciata vecchia che mi proponeva all'inizio come faccio?

When double clicking a raw file to edit in ACR the image is displayed on screen first with a white background and then shortly later the dark interface is displayed. The problem is even worse after selecting to open in Photoshop or canceling ACR. The interface closes first, then the image is closed, then they are both redisplayed, and finally everything is closed. The flashing between light and dark is nauseating.
