Camera Raw in Photoshop all have been updated on my end and still getting this bug. when opening a few items and then adjusting the values you get (a value between -100 and +100 is required. previous value inserted. ) which when entering a value +10 or anything you get a pop up which you would then click ok and then the pop up comes up again and again and again. sometimes it stops and other times you have to force quit the program . ANY sollutions to this ?????
How to tell which version of camera raw I have? The only Google search I found answering this question refers to is 2 years old and seems to no longer apply. There is no File, Edit etc. menu on the new version of Camera Raw with (Photoshop/Bridge CS6). I do use Adobe Application Manager to do my updates telling me if a new version exists or not, nevertheless I would like to know.
After installing ACR 12.2, when searching images in Bridge, I thought something had happened to my monitors; the images looked like crap. Then I realized the "update" deleted my default settings. There is no longer the option to Save Default Settings. How do I get them back? Thanks,Tom
When will adobe RAW work with the Canon 1dx Mark III?
I downloaded DNG Converter 9.1.0.441, clicked "Select Folder" then clicked the source folder containing ARW files. I wasn't sure about how to set compatibility prefs for the appropriate version of Camera Raw for my version of Lightroom 4.4, but began with Camera Raw 4.1, then to 4.6, though neither made a difference. An error message pops up, "The source folder does not contain an supported camera raw files". I believe my version of DNG Converter is up to date, the ARWs come from a new Sony AR7ii body, so what could it be? Thanks.
I've had a problem dating back a number of versions of Bridge and Photoshop. When files have been edited in ACR and then are opened from Bridge into Photoshop via Tools->Photoshop->Batch, the edits (including custom profiles, cropping, adjustments, etc) are intermittently ignored or the wrong edits (from different RAW files) are applied. Showing the ACR window during Batch confirms this, the RAW file opens without the saved adjustments. I've seen this happen with hundreds if not thousands of CR2 files across multiple computers on both Windows 7 and Windows 10.
I made some edits using camera raw in photoshop but forgot to save it as a preset before I applied the effect to the picture. Now I want to see the exact tweaks that I made using camera raw, is there anyway I can check that? (Photoshop remembered my preset but that will go away as soon as I use camera raw for something else) Thanks so much!
My PC Windows has 10 updated. I use CS6, Bridge 5.0.0 and ACR 9.1.1 I use DNG converter 10.1 which works fine. The problem is that when I install DNG 10.2 the programme does not open up. The little blue circle rotates for a few seconds but then disappears. Your help greatly appreciated.
Seriously Adobe. Now when you have released the ACR/LR update where camera settings are considered during import, you REALLY need to those camera matching profiles for Canon CR3 files up and running. Every Canon since the EOS R. If you claim Canon is the reason for this, please give us a technical explanation. Or a source at Canon. Get. It. Fixed. Now.We pay for this you know...
Hello.I am new and can’t find the answer anywhere. I have a Sony A7m3 camera. In program CAMERA RAW 11.4, in the PROFILE line there is only the word MATRIX and there are no more options. Please help, how can I change this? Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Elena.
My system is Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit (Version 1809 OS Build 17763.292) running Photoshop CC 2019 (Version: 20.0.2 20181219.r.30 2018/12/19: 1202136 x64)ACR is version 11.1.0.112.I am certain that everything is completely up to date.I have installed new monitors running with native resolution 2560 x 1440 (Recommended) and with Windows scaling set to 125% (Recommended)All Adobe software works well apart from one issue with ACR with which I am aware. This is that Adjustment Brush pins and Graduated Filter pins are much larger than they should be or used to be and worse, they cannot be easily selected. Fiddling around with the mouse pointer in the general vicinity of the pin may locate the selection spot but this is rather hit and miss. Clicking on one directly adds a new pin rather than selecting it.I have found that the problem can be fixed in two ways, neither of which is satisfactory:1. Set Windows scaling to 100% (Then text in other applications is too small to read.) 2. In Camera
I updated Camera Raw on Feb 13, 2020. My process is this: Open Raw image in Photoshop, Camera Raw intercepts the raw image and I make edits, then I save image to my Microsoft OneDrive cloud folder. From there I download the image to my phone to post to Instagram. After the new CR update, when I try to open my edited image from my phone, my CR edits are not saved to the image ... and I can't even open the Image. In some cases, the edited photos are saved with a random cropping -- and sometimes without any edits performed on the image. Really strange. FYI, I've updated all the apps mentioned in my process, still nothing. The only work around for now is the screen capture the edited image for a social post. But this isn't fixing the problem.
For many years now, I make Camera Raw edits to raw photographs from Bridge. These edits are reflected when previewed in Bridge, but not anymore. All I see is the original raw file without any of the Camera Raw edits. I read one suggestion to click the, "Save Image" button in the bottom left, which converts the original raw file into something else (Ex: original raw .orf file into a raw .dng file). This is a huge pain when you have over 1000 photos to process. Plus, if I want to make another Camera Raw change to the new DNG file, I have to Save it again as another DNG file. This was not a good solution, so I hope someone can help. Thanks #cameraraw, #bridge, #adobebridge, #photoediting, #photography
The (RAF-)file size of Fuji's Finepix S3 Pro and S5 Pro are wrong since Version 12.2. Now it is 2880 x 3840 px (3: 4). The original format is 2 : 3 with 2848 x 4256 px.Is there somebody who can tell me how I can get the former RAW-converter-version?Thanks a lot for helpMark
Equirectangular (EQR) images for 360 'photosphere' images need appropriate support in LR and PS. These features are pretty straight forward and should be easy to add. You can even get free open source code to do it in a variety of environments. (Hugin, panorama tools, cubic2erect, erect2cube, ...)What is needed is:1. a check box to indicate an image is an EQR and should be processed as such.2. any processing that combines data from an area of pixels into each new pixel should treat the edges of the EQR as contiguous left to right, and mapped to a point for top and bottom (zenith and nadir). This include functions such as sharpening, clarity, noise reduction, and other local area adjustments)3. provide functions to translate the image zenith and nadir (top and bottom ~20% of the EQR) to the center of a re-mapped image for patching, and then to restore the edited zenith and nadir back into the original EQR again when patching is done.4. provide a function to extract cube faces, and re-cr
If I hover the mouse cursor over an icon on the toolbar in ACR the tooltip is displayed but is dim, then, after a long pause it gets brighter, then, after another long pause, it gets a bit brighter and so on. This is beyond annoying because it is so slow. How can I disable this and any other animations in ACR? Thanks.
Why in the new version 12.2 of Camera raw the menu no longer exists: "save new default camera raw settings" ????It is possible to export / import the .xml file with customized settings. But, once imported, it is no longer possible to set them as the default settings for all the raw because the "save new default camera raw settings" menu is missing which, in previous versions, was present !!!!
My ACR app has recently grayed out and is not available. I'm having a great deal of trouble finding help for this issue and would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi there, I'm having some trouble processing DJI X5R DNGs with Adobe Camera Raw. When filming/photographing with the original DJI 15mm or the Olympus Zuiko 45/1.8 everything is fine. But all DNGs I take with the Olympus Zuiko 25/1.8 show heavy apochromatic refraction AFTER Adobe Camera Raw applies the integrated lens profile. The proxy-files produced by the X5R do not show any problems, it's the same when I process the files with DJI Cinelight, even when I place the DNG-files in Premiere Pro CC and do the color correction with the Lumetri engine, there is no apchromatic refraction. As a test I have used DNG Cleaner for Apple to erase the integrated profile and when doing that, Adobe Camera Raw imports the DNGs without integrated profile and without any apchromatic refraction. The downside of DNG Cleaner is that it is one more step in processing the RAWs, and Premiere Pro will not accept the files produced by DNG Cleaner. So it would be great to have the possibility to deactivate the integr
Just got the Canon EOS RP and Photoshop CC 2019 won't open the file . Get this error message."could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document". I have updated Adobe Camera Raw to 11.2 and unistalled /reinstalled PS. Still no success. The file format is .CR3 like the EOS R. Any suggestions?
Hello. Every time I open a RAW/CR file in Bridge the default sharpening is set at 40. How do I change this to 25 so that every time I open a file the sharpening will be set at 25, not 40. If it matters I use Windows 10 64-bit. Thank you.
the tab to set specific camera default for raw conversion is gone in this newest version of camera raw, how do you set it for each camera body
It looks like command line parsing in DNG Converter 12.2 is completly broken. Following command "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe DNG Converter\Adobe DNG Converter.exe" -u -p0 -dng1.4 -d "C:\TEMP\" -o "IMG_5983.CR2.tmp" -l "C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Work\Images\RAW+JPG\IMG_5983.CR2" run from Windows cmd window works perfectly using DNG Converter 12.1 (and previous versions), but after installing DNG Converter 12.2 version it:sometimes correctly writes "C:\TEMP\IMG_5983.CR2.tmp" filesometimes generates "C:\TEMP\IMG_5983.dng" filesometimes generates "C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Work\Images\RAW+JPG\IMG_5983.dng" filesometimes generates "C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Work\Images\RAW+JPG\-p0" filemost of the time does nothing
