Hi.I am using the latest ACR 9.12 but this happens for very long time... I used 7D Mark II, 6D and 5D Mark IV to verify this.When I use only the EF 300mm and I check the Enable Lens Corrections box, automatically ACR detects the lens and puts Make, Model and Profile fields accordingly.But when I use Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II in combination with TC 1.4x III or TC 2x III, ACR does not detect them. I need to change manually the Make to Canon, but the behaviour is different for each set when I change the maker:EF300 + TC 1.4xSetup: CustomModel: Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM + 1.4xProfile: Adobe (Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM + 1.4x)It is OK.EF300 + TC 2xSetup: CustomModel: Canon EF 600 f/4 L IS USMProfile: Adobe (Canon EF 600 f/4 L IS USM)It is wrong. Hi, I am using Windows version CS5, face the same issue, tried uninstalled and install again and click on the update software. Still, prompt error downloading and ask to try again later. Tried individual product "Camera Raw" download as I am not able to upload any Oly EM1 Raw and Sony A7II Raw files. The highest version I can go is only 6.7.1.340, as version 7 gives an error when running the application. Still not able to open the files for both Oly and A7 Raw. Please advise.

Hello!Due to a lack of Lightroom support for my new camera till now I currently have to use DNG converter.Its better to have than not being able to shoot and handle raw files in Lightroom, but its not ideal.I am using the Mac version 9.12As I have a folder approach which might have additional raw files in there it would be good to have a filerwhich files should be converted, (guess best would be a REGEX), but at least a prefix (like DSC_) and suffix (like NEF).Some more points regards the CLI function of DNG Converter. * please add a -h / --help and an info if no CLI arguments are given to inform about the usage* please add a verbose option to see which file is currently converted* please add a progress indicator to see how many files have been processed / still queued* I could not find an option to use a capital letter suffix .DNG instead of .dng (possible in the GUI)

HiI have a question about the tool bar of Camera raw, just under the histogram.I have bought Photoshop elements 15 and I have just three tools : a little diaphragm, two triangles who looks like christmas tree, and a little camera. In a book, I have read that normally, I should have other tools. On a photography of that tool bar, there is seven icons more. Did somebody has the explanation ?Thank you

Hello,I was just searching for the DNG Converter forum and noticed that this forum has a sticky topic toa very outdated DNG Converter version 8.3:Where the latest is if I see it right 9.1.2.Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Adobe DNG Converter 9.12.1 So some TLC to this forum by Adobe would not harm.

I just got a new d5600 and can not open my raw files. in photo shop, camera raw or light room. the first file I shot would open in light room only but the next 2 files will not open anywhere. I'm pulling my hair ouT!.

I converted 30 color images in ACR to BW and they look terrific BW in Bridge and they look terrific BW in PS, but on Desktop on Mac still color and when I upload to Blog still color. Really annoying.

J'ai acheté Photoshop éléments 15 et, d'après une revue que j'ai achetée sur le RAW, je devrais avoir plus de symboles sous l'histogramme. Je n'ai qu'un petit diaphragme, deux triangles, et un appareil photo. Je n'ai pas non plus l'outil retouche dont parle cette revue. Faut-il acheter autre chose ? Je n'ai pas la bonne version ? Tout à l'heure, j'ai téléchargé Camera Raw 12, car dans mon Photoshop, c'est le 10. J'ai installé le pack, mais Photoshop affiche toujours la version 10. Ca non plus je ne pige pas pourquoi. Quelqu'un peut m'éclairer ? Merci d'avance

Hi, I found that since the recent update (9.12.1) the image quality in the ACR-windows ist really bad.The quality returns to normal, by selcting the GPU-accelaertion to off...GPU-acceleration ON:GPU-acceleration OFF:The image looks like shot with ISO12800, but its shot with ISO200. And the rendered image is good as well.As a result of this issue the "Visualize Spots" tools is affected as well, because due to the grainy picture, real spots are "overlaid"...Regards!

I have read all the previous questions and answers on this subject. The advice that the sliders are sitting on zero is not applicable to me.  I've been using the Adjustment Brush in Abobe Camera Raw for years.  All of a sudden it has quit working; none of the controls available with the adjustment brush work, at a variety of settings.  And I get the box that says can't adjust the picture because the local adjustment controls are set to have no effect.  Where does one find this setting?  I have also read advice to update software.  Checking the usual places I use, I don't see any updates for Photoshop or Camera Raw available.

Hello,I have never had this problem, but I am trying to save to jpg / tif a very sharp image of stars (which was taken in raw), and when I save it to jpg / tif it loses a lot of sharpness. I have been playing around but I was not able to solve the issue. I am attaching an example of what happens.PS I just updated Camera Raw and it still happens (version 9.12.0.784).Thanks!!

After the recent camera raw update to 8.7.1 I have noticed some pretty bad color shifts between camera raw and photoshop cs6. The colors in camera raw look very saturated and then when moving into photoshop the saturation shift is pretty dramatic. I never had these issues before the update. I have attached a screenshot illustrating the color issue. I am working on a very good monitor ( NEC PA 242W ) and it is color calibrated using NEC Spectraview calibration system. I have double checked my color setting in photoshop and camera raw to make sure I was viewing the same color space. I am just wondering if this is maybe a bug in the update and others are experiencing the same issues or if I am just missing something.I would also add that I am using the Creative Suite CS6 and not CC. If that makes a difference.

I work with both Lr and Ps.  I prefer to make global edits in Lr and detailed edits/retouching in Ps.  When I open a dng file from Lr into Ps, the image opens "correctly" but the actual Camera Raw values set in Lr are not present in the Camera Raw values in Ps.  Is there a way to export these values from Lr to Ps?  Thanks, all.

Camera Raw in Photoshop CC gives a cyan/blue cast on all RAW images opened or imported. Raw images opened in Lightroom CC or NOT affected in this way. Both have updated 9.12 version.Cure please anyone? Richard Thomas

Our workflow (running under macOS/OSX) requires that a picture is opened in Photoshop using the CameraRaw plug-in. The current solution is using an AppleScript application (a script is not sufficient), which uses System Events UI scripting to open the file, and then "clicks" on the Open in Photoshop button. This kind of works, but is not really stable.One issue is that this application needs to be added to the list of applications allowed to control the computer (in the Security & Privacy System Preference, Privacy tab, Accessibility list). This is an action, we do not want to force our users to do whenever there is an update.By using an installer, it appears to be possible to do an entry into the database containing this list. However, it seems that this database is protected by Apple's SIP. This would still mean a manual interaction by the user. It would be much more preferable if it were not necessary to have to rely on System Events UI scripting. Is there by chance any chance f

I have a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 1600x CPU (6 cores, 12 threads) running Windows 10.When I use the Adobe DNG Converter, CPU utilisation ranges from 14 to 32%, but never goes above 32. Is there a way to get the DNG converter to use all cores?Converting a large number of files should lend itself well to parallelisation, because the conversion of each file is totally independent of the converison of the others, so it should be quite straightforward to divide the total files across the available cores.Thanks!

i just bought 6d mark ii and i updated camera raw to 9 12 and i still getting message that my camera is not supported.i did updates and i restart cpu, still nothing...how can i fix it?

The end of July, 2017, I received my new Canon 6D Mark ll, and immediately took some photos in RAW and JPEG.  Totally disappointed and frustrated when I could not open the RAW files in Elements 15!!  Still have nearly 100 RAW files awaiting editing and still no Camera Raw 9.12 available to download to Elements 15.  WHEN WILL THIS UPDATE BE AVAILABLE??? 

camera raw 9.12lens Correction  - Manual Upright has moved to the new Transform tool.Upright and the manual Transform controls have moved to the new Transform tool.Would you like to select the Transform tool?Popup window pops up.This popup window keeps popping up every time.If you want to change the image once, you must press the lens calibration button to cancel the popup window.Is my problem only with ACR? Or did you make pop-up windows every time you do it?I wonder.

I have Adobe CC photography subscription.  Camera Raw doesn't start.  CC has open buttons for Lr, Ps and Br but Raw just says "up to date"  Tried to download latest but still doesn't work

today I went to work on some saved raw files from my Canon 7D. In bridge the thumbnail look ok, once opened in Camera Raw they have a marked magenta cast, the white balance is changed to custom and the magenta slide to +22. I have try to reset the settings to default but no change in the picture. Also change the setting to As Shot does not help. I cannot make meaningful adjustment. But once the picture is open in Photoshop it looks ok.Please Help.

I'm seeing an anomaly when using Camera Raw within Ps CS6. The image below shows that its like a box within a box.  This is not in the original images, nor is it a result of stacking the images.  The boxes become more pronounced when applying more 'Clarity' in Camera Raw, but never goes away totally.  The image below has the Clarity turned way up so you can see what I'm seeing, but even turned way down, it is still visable but faint.Has anyone else seen this, or know a solution?  I need the clarity to bring out some of the finer detail of the corona.Thanks
