I know this has been asked previously but to my knowledge it has not been answered. My white balance tool disappears ? when clicking it on it sometimes the eyedropper is there & it works perfectly & other times its not? I don't know why this happens? I have found a previous post that says by holding down the shift tab & clicking on the move tab it brings out the white balance tool but this does not work for me. Has anybody been able to resolve this issue ?
Hey all. Forgive me if this isn't the correct forum in which to post this question.I updated all of my CC apps on both my laptop and desktop. On the Laptop, everything works fine, but on my desktop, although CC now shows that everything is up to date, I can only see/access the Adobe Color and Adobe Monochrome color profiles. The other ones (Landscape, Portrait, etc) are simply not there.Any ideas? Very much appreciated.
Yesterday I installed Photoshop CC the new version, I was using the 2015 version before, and also update from Lightroom CC 2015 to the new Lightroom CC Classic. Well, now Camera Raw can’t see my camera profiles, either the default camera ones, or the user or vendor camera profiles out there. Either inside Lightroom or in when opening a RAW file in photoshop. I’ve tried with CR2, RAF and ARW files, all of them say MATRIX and cnat chose another profile but monochrome. With DNG files it just says Color in Adobe Camera Raw, and inside Lightroom it say the profile I was using, RNI 4.0.3 bit it says missing. I also get the Conversion to XMP every time I open Lightroom, it completes successfull, but stil does it every time. I still have Photoshop Lightroom CC 2015.14 installed, and Camera Profiles work as they should inside that app. Inside the Camera Raw/Camera Profiles folder there are a few folders and tons of DCP files outside of folders. What Can I Do? Is there a way to completely remove
I much prefer using Camera Raw as my photo editor instead of Lightroom. There are some drawbacks to this workflow because of a couple of shortcomings of Bridge. Bridge is the only photo software I've ever seen that doesn't allow you to NOT download duplicate files. This baffles me. The second problem is that there is no way to backup Collections automatically. As important as Collections are for editing your photos, this is inexplicable.
🙂Danke schonmal
I just bought the Lumix gh5 and the RAW file RW2 is not being accepted by Lightroom 6, which I purchased this year. I've read some of the FAQ and answers without finding a fix. Please advise.
Hi there,I appreciate its very early with the Nikon P1000 being released a short time ago but CC does not yet recognise the RAW files created in this camera. I got mine yesterday and spent several hours taking photos using only RAW.I downloaded them to my computer, switched to Adobe CC and was left with a message that these RAW files are not recognised. How long will it be before they are. RegardsGerry
In latest versions of Camera Raw, when we open an adjusted raw or dng file and make changes in several panels, there is an option (press P key) to preview the Before and After of all those changes. But there is not a straight way (*) to preview, compare, the Before and After of changes in the current panel.Because the icon (Highlighted in Fig. 2) that, in my little understanding, should do it, shows instead the default (zero) values, thus it is not showing the Before and After, but how new values compare to default ones, -values that I am not using at all-, as I have started with non-zero ones.I think this behaviour should be changed/reversed.On first capture the initial raw file open. Temperature compensation is changed from 0.Adjustments are not zero to begin with.On second capture, when pressing the highlighted icon, that previews with default values, there is no comparison with what it's being done. It makes no sense.(*)Yes I know I can use Ctrl/Cmd+Z or save snapshots. This icon is a
My camera is on the list of supported models for Adobe Camera Raw but both Lightroom and Photoshop crash as soon as I attempt to open a Raw file. I have tried the "repair" option on uninstall to no effect and have also uninstalled those elements of the Creative Cloud and re-installed them. Unfortunately it does not seem possible to delete and re-install ACR. I have sent endless crash reports to Adobe but received no return communication. This has all only started since upgrading Creative Cloud recently. Help!!Sarah
[Feature request: The Embedded profile is hidden in the Legacy group, which is hidden by default. The profile, which is assigned by default when a Leica photo is imported, should be appear in Favorites and also in a profile group that isn't hidden by default. When any other camera profile is selected the 'Embedded' Profile entry is no longer visible including in the Profile Browser. If 'Read Metadata from File' is invoked the 'Embedded' profile entry reappears and is selected. In addition if 'Save Metadata to File' or 'Update DNG Preview & Metadata' is invoked the 'Embedded' Profile selection disappears completely and is not recoverable using 'Read Metadata from File.'LR 7.2 does not exhibit this behavior so it appears this "bu
Is there a way to permanently turn off the little location 'flags' that pop-up when using the Adjustment Brush in ACR?I know you can uncheck the box, but I'd like to always keep it off. They can be very annoying and distracting! Thanks,John
Is there no way to batch adjust the tint of raw photos in ACR without affecting the temperature? I've done a lot of searching and experimenting over the past few hours, and I just need to make sure I'm not missing something.I have a bunch of photos that were taken with auto white balance in camera, so the color temperature varies for each one. I'd like to keep the auto temperature, but I want to make the tint for each photo zero. It appears there's no way to do that to all photos at once - each one has to be manually edited to zero tint. If I select all of the photos on the side bar and set tint to zero, all photos will also adopt the color temperature of whatever photo is being displayed. If I try to sync settings with a single photo edited to zero tint, there's only an option to sync "white balance" as a whole, which includes both temperature and tint. But I just want to sync the tint.
I found the Adobe lens profile downloader and downloaded it. However there is no support and I don't know how to install it or run it? I have searched the various forums and they keep sending me to the DNG converter. I don't want or need to use the converter if there is a profile downloader. I went to this page to download it from Adobe . It then shows a PDF file for instructions. However the PDF file is incorrect as it is for the lens profile creator. I don't want to create the profile, I want to download the existing one from Adobe and the downloader plug in should be the right tool. For information purposes I use Lightroom 5.x and I want the profile for Pentax DA15 HD (I have the non-HD profile but it won't recognise it). This should be so simple and common but I have searched and made no progress.
I just recently got a canon 77d and trying to open camera raw with photoshop cs6 but it wont. A message pops up to make sure I have the latest update. I have installed the latest update of 9.1.1 which according to the site should support raw for the 77d. Any idea what could be happening? Thank you
Sorry for my bad english. Use Lightroom and Photoshop. Always shooting in Raw. I bought an INSTA 360 pro.I suppose that for this camera there is NOT a converter from RAW to DNG.In fact, the quality of the images in RAW is definitely lower than those in JPEGDo others have the same problem?Thank you and greetings.
dpreview has raw files of the new canon r and mentions acr 11 beta - but where can I get it? adobe cc does not provide an option for beta installations. thanks
Hallo Zusammen, ich hoffe hier kann mir jemand helfen seid kurzem habe ich dieses Problem. Seid ein paar Tagen kann ich nichts mehr mit Camera Raw öffnen was kann das sein Danke schonmal für eure Hilfe
Downloaded zip file CameraRaw win 10.5. In fact I've installed it twice . But I cannot find the program on my PC. I've done multiple searches for the program but to no avail.I've loaded it in the past onto other PCs without any difficulty. The program apparently took a ride on the Enterprise's transporter and rode off into oblivion. Proof once again that the most simple operations can go afoul. I'm hoping that I'll get some help.Thank you. Dave
IS it possible to convert a lens manufacturers lens profile designed to work with processed files to work in Camera RAW ?

when will you include the Canon EF 85 f1.4 in the lens profile for LR 6.14?
QUESTION: I recently bought a Nikon D 7500 and needed to download a new camera raw (9.1.1) to view raw images from this camera. I downloaded and installed as directed the camera raw viewer 9.1.1 but in Bridge CS 6, I still see only an icon in place of my raw image which still will not open in camera raw. Am I doing something wrong? Any help much appreciated. Fred
Hello there, since Camera Raw got updated on April this year, all the camera profiles that i had are not shown anymore. The just show up when the picture is taken with the correct camera. Let me explain a litte further. When i load the raw files from a Leica M240 Camera all my profiles appear in the list. When i load a Leica M10 raw file, they are all gone. That is really a big problem. Seems like you tried to make it easier for the consumer to just see the matching profiles. I need to use my existing profiles even if it is not the matching camera. Otherwise i need to find a way to convert all my existing profiles for each camera. I am working as a professional photographer and none of my presets are working correctly because the camera profiles is not beeing loaded. Is there a solution? Am i doing something wrong? Is it possible with the next update to turn it back?Yes, everything is correctly installed and in the right folder.Thank you.Regards,Michael
I asked this same question back in July, and it looks like I need to start again seeking a solution.I am having a problem with Camera Raw freezing, but I think under different circumstances from what I read in other threads. It loads a raw file just fine, it runs at speeds I consider normal, it will open and run Photoshop just fine. I have the latest updates for Photoshop CC, and the latest updates for Win 10 (ACR 10.5, PS 19.1.6). However, at some point in the Camera Raw edit the entire computer will suddenly freeze without warning. It happens at a random moment, but most often on the second image I edit. I'm fairly sure it will always freeze if I continue the edit in Camera Raw long enough. Intricate and numerous brush strokes or movements of sliders may increase the likelihood of the problem occurring. It never happens in Photoshop itself or any other software I run on the same computer. This problem started some 6 months ago even though I have not changed the Win 10/Photoshop setup
hello,i tried to merge a HDR Pro photo with 32-Bit in ACR. if the camera raw window opened and i made the image settings (color, white-balancing, contrast, saturation, ...) and after that i clicked ok and photoshop convert the image to 16-Bit background-image with no camera-raw layer. in earliert versions did photoshop create a 32-Bit image with a camera-raw layer, where i could change the settings.
