Trying without success to input photos from my new canon EOS M5 to Elements 14. It seems I may need a download but am unsure how this is done. Would be grateful for any advice.
Hello, some tools have options (e.g. crop ratio for the crop tool) that are available with click and hold. In Photoshop I could use the pen to choose a tool with click and hold, but in camera raw click and hold with the pen doesn't work. Is there any way to access the options without using a mouse?Regards and TIA, Helge (using a HP Spectre x360)
Does Adobe Photoshop CS5 have a download to allow me to process Raw photos from a Nikon D850? The file seems to be Camera Raw 9.12.1. Is there a download to CS5 for Camera Raw 9.12.1?
After updating Bridge opening a photo in Camera Raw 10.1 results in this:The edit panel does not fill into the frame anymore. When opening a file in Camera Raw 10.1 from Photoshop it looks normal. This is occurring on both my machines where I installed the programmes. Both are recently updated Windows 10-machines. Checked it on a third machine with another account on it and got the same result.Everything is working ok, but it just is a bit irritating. greetingsAnton
I'm doing an experiement with my Nikon D500, have switched from fine to where it shoots jpeg and raw. I am going to try and upload the images to elements 11.Can you good people tell me if it will read raw, or just be a boring black square? Many thanks.
When I try opening camera raw in bride it says:Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature. How do I solve this.I am on an imac 5k and do not own photoshop or lightroom.I understand this might be a stupid question but please reply as the adobe tech support team only asked me about account issues when I tried asking them this!
i have lost my 'whites and black's' clipping indicators on my image and looking for a way to make things the way they used to. I did two uodates, one with Adobe and the other with Windows. Updates with Adobe were basically going from Photoshop / Bridge / Camera Raw from 2017 to current, so that puts me in Camera Raw 10.1Updates with Windows was 10 something to 10 something else (1709 build 16299.125)i have always had my clipping indicators showing in previous versions and surprised i no longer am seeing that ability. Sure I see them in the upper right Histogram, , but how do I go about getting them back on my image?
Hey guys My first ever post here and its for my younger brother, hence the old software, as he uses photoshop to merely play around and tinker. He recently had some RAW fies cr2 but they wont open for him. He has upgraded to MAC OS El captain 10.11.6. He has Photoshop CS5 Version 12.0Current Camera raw version: 6.0.0.205After we done some reading together it said online to upgrade to Camera RAW 6.7. We have downloaded it but every time we click the red adobe folder to do the installation process it says: "AdobePatchInstaller” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image. (see picture attached). If anyone can shed some light on how we can get this camera raw up to date it would be greatly appreciated. thank you
Alguém poderia me ajudar? O layout do câmera raw está todo desconfiguração. A foto abre pequena, enquanto sobra espaço na direita da tela.
I had been using CS4 for years and recently got the monthly subscription to Lightroom and the current version of PS. In CS4, a number of presets opened when I opened the Adjustments window (or I opened them somehow myself long ago but don't remember how). At each successive launch of the program, they were there right under the adjustment icons. There presets involved issues such as curves, levels, different exposures, etc., which you could scroll thru. I used them often, especially the linear contrast curves preset. With the new version of PS, I have opened the Adjustment window, but the list of presets is not there. What happened to it? Have I just failed to locate where to open it?A befuddles new subscriber.
For some reason unknown to me my RAW files are undergoing some sort of processing upon import into LR5. At the moment they render after loading, the colors become more saturated as though are Jpegs? Any ideas? I have not set any presets at import.
I have come across a recent problem with the DNG Converter. This happens with both version 10.0 and the most recent one 10.1. Certain CR2 files from a Canon GX7 camera will not convert to DNG. I get the message "There was not enough memory". It is hard for me to believe I do not have enough memory as my computer is new and has ample RAM.Out of a shoot of say 50 images, all shot at the same time with the same camera, only a few will not convert and I can not tell what is different about the problem files from the ones that do convert. All the raw files are visible in bridge and Lightroom, and all open in camera raw, but some will not be converted to the dng format in the DNG converter.Anyone have this problem? I can supply the raw files if necessary.
The black slider tool in my Camera Raw plug-in (for adjusting Nikon D800 raw images) has suddenly changed to adding deep purple instead of heightening blacks in the image. I think I may have accidentally altered a setting which controls the black slider tool. I tried to uninstall and reinstall to see if that would repair the problem but it did not. All raw images now open with a degree of purple. If I open the image, in preparation of saving as a TIF file, everything is normal. I just do not have the benefit of the adjustments in the raw state. Anyone have suggestions?
Hi,I have a problem with r2w files (panasonic) in Camera Raw. I had no such a problem before so I can't tell why it happens now. I think because of PS update maybe. Default files' dimention in camera is 4:3 and these files worked fine before and after the problem begun. Some time ago I changed the ratio in device on 3:2 and these files worked fine for a long time too, but lately I have a problem with them. In Transform Tool, when I'm changing scale to smaller or rotating image (situations when blank fill around the image apears), program automaticaly fit the image to the window without changing its parameters on the slide bar. So when I want to undo changes I can do it only by ctrl+z. In example when I'm rotating image I move a slider left or right and I can see the blank fills on the sides of image apearing and value on the slide bar is changing. When I'm releasing a mouse button, rotate slider takes the value I set, but the program automaticaly makes the image bigger (stretching the
I have a Nikon D800.Why when I save a max jpeg from Bridge Camera RAW the file size is around 4MB but if I save the same max jpeg file from Photoshop Camera RAW the file size is around 39MB?
It's possible to convert a TIFF file to DNG in Lightroom, and I could have sworn I had done it at least once with the DNG Converter that comes with the Camera Raw plug-in. Now it works only with Lightroom. Is there some way to convert a TIFF file to DNG in Photoshop alone? I'm currently using CS, not yet having had time to upgrade to CS3.
good afternoon When I open the camera raw in the rough, it jams and does not allow to use Photoshop. Does anyone know what is going on?
Having trouble with Camera Raw 9.12.0.784 using Windows 7 - 64Just today I am trying to edit and tweak 1800 Canon .cr2 files and when I select more than one file in ACR and choose "Sync Settings" as I always do, ACR doesn't change the settings of the other files selected. This also happens if I save an adjustment preset then choose more than one file to Apply preset to. IF I choose one file at a time it will usually change that file using Apply preset, but no matter how many files chosen Sync settings will not work. This happens when going to ACR through Bridge as well as through Photoshop.I have uninstalled and then re-installed Photoshop and Bridge through CC. Once reinstalled, I was able to sync 8 files but then immediately sync quite working again.
I am really having a hard time trying to understand ACR the DNG Converter and LR. I'm also undecided on two camera models, the Canon 6Ti and the Canon 7Ti.I have some questions below in hope that someone can help me decide on things or point me in the right direction.1) Is there a major improvement in PS-ACR 9.1.1 compared to PS-ACR 6.7.1?(I would think only someone who has used both versions can answer this.) 2) Is there any reason to have LR 6.14 if you have Photoshop CS5 or Photoshop CS6?(From what I have read, LR and PS-ACM are the same thing and only makes sense to have one or the other.)3) Do some people still convert there original raw files to DNG even if their versions of PS-ACM or LR are compatible with the original raw files? (I thought the DNG Converter was only for people who's cameras are not supported in their versions of PS-ACM or LR.)4) For people that do choose to convert their original raw files to DNG, is it most common to then delete the original raw files once con
I just purchased PhotoshopCC 2018 with ACR version 2017 10.10.864. On the Basic Menu under Lens Correction Tab/MANUAL; I was expecting to find the UPRIGHT buttons followed by 6 transformation sliders. My version of ACR does not have this. Am I out of date or did Adobe get rid of this menu? Appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks
This is not just an annoyance - it is a show stopper. When trying to use "Merge to HDR Pro" from Lightroom, it aborts in Photoshop with "Camera Raw Filter is not available" after "Open anyway" was chosen in Lightroom. The same happens when "Camera Raw Filter" is chosen from the filter menu in Photoshop. Photoshop shows Camera Raw is 9.10.0.739 so that's the latest but there's obviously a bug where this is not being recognised as the latest. How do I revert to the previous version of Lightroom and Camera Raw because the use of the Camera Raw filter is part of my normal workflow many times a day.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Lightroom Edit in Photoshop warning message since update.

I bought a new laptop. Macbook Pro (mid 2015). It's running OS X El Capitan, v. 10.11.6.I installed Adobe PhotoShop CS5 on it, the same version I had on my old macbook pro. However, PS on my new laptop is not reading the raw CR2 files from my 5DMarkiii. I tried running the updates in photoshop, and it is failing. Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 Update There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. Please help. The only reason I bought a new laptop was to edit my photos on. Hi all, I have a Nikon D5100. Recently, since I got a new computer, I no longer have the Nikon raw converter/editor software installed. I decided to try my luck with just uploading my photos to apple's iPhoto program & editing them in Photoshops RAW editor. The photos upload fine to iPhoto, but I have not been able to get them to open in Photoshop RAW no matter what I try. I first tried dragging a photo (which says in iPhoto that it is still the raw NEF file,) directly onto the photoshop logo in my dock, but that had no response at all. I then tried opening the photo directly from Photoshop with File>Open. This opened the image in Photoshop but automatically converted the image to a JPEG for some odd reason. Finally, I tried dragging the photo from iPhoto to the desktop to see if it was a problem with iPhoto specifically, but the computer automatically converted the photo to JPEG once on the desktop. Anyone know what I can do to get it to open as its actual file is, a NEF raw fo
