I open a RAW or JPG file using PS or Bridge and when making my adjustments in ACR the popup prompts will stay on the screen after the file is opened in PS. In other words there are a bunch of ACR "yellow" prompts in PS which cover the screen after the file has been opened in PS. Closing out PS will clear out the prompts.A screenshot is shown. I am running PS/ACR on a MacPro with Retna although this has been an issue with previous releases of the OS. Thanks, Ted

Hi there.I'm trying to find out if I'm doing something wrong. And as far as I know, many PS users struggle with understanding profiles and assigning them so maybe this thread will be helpful for others. My monitor profiling and overall color management workflow is this:1. unassign any profile from my displays, then calibrate each monitor - create profiles.2. assign proper profiles for each monitor in Windows Color Management setting.3. In Photoshop go to Edit->Color Settings and for RGB change profile to "Monitor RGB - XXXXXXXX"4. I disable Color Management Policies for RGB images. To test if everyting is fine and that I see all color properly, I create an image with 3 color spots: 100% Red, 100% Green, 100% Blue.I take a 'print screen' of this image and paste it into Photoshop. When I measure these three colors and they are 100% then all's fine - I see what I'm supposed to see..The problem comes with Bridge. Thumbnails show something completelly different. And I understand it's becaus

Hello, dear developers!Could you please add new keyboard shortcut for "Export settings to XMP" option? It could be "Ctrl + E" or "Ctrl + Shift + E" for instance. Both shortcuts currently are not used. It's oddly, that so frequently used option still has no key shortcut. Personally I use it very often (cause I don't want to lose my edits in the middle of the process) and going to menu every time I want to save settings is a bit annoying as it takes time.
I just updated to Bridge CC 2018 and ACR 10. When processing in ACR I select all and Sync settings and it only corrects the image directly under the one with the corrections not all the images I have selected. VERY FRUSTRATING!Any suggestions? Quit Bridge and re-started to no avail. Thanks, Sally

After upgrading PS and Bridge I have the following problems. PS has stripped all of my filters and Plug Ins, Bridge will no longer open files in Camera RAW and cursor key strokes no longer work. If I open a RAW file in PS it seems to be reverting to an older version of Camera RAW.I have to get everything working again and need to go back to the 2017 versions of the apps - what is the best procedure for doing this?
On one of my computers sony .arw do not show a preview in Bridge (in every bridge; 2015, 2017, 2018). The problem might be a corrupt preference in Bridge. However Bridge on my other computer handles .arw files well. They both are running os x high sierra and Bridge 2018. As I have made several custom standard preferences for specific camera number and specific iso, I like to copy the preferences from the bridge version that works well to the computer that doesn't work well with the .arw files.
Please bear with me, as I'm just learning visual basic. I'm at the initial stages of checking that the SDK is installed correctly, but when I build dng_validate, I am stuck with two unresolved external symbols: gVerbose, and gDumpLineLimitMy steps so far are as follows:1) I'm using Visual Basic 2017, so I also installed Visual Basic 2013 (update 5), in order to work correctly with the v120 platform toolset2) Under dng_validate properties, the Platform toolset is indeed set to Visual Basic 2013 v.1203) my folder structure after unpacking the dng_sdk 1.4 contains the three folders, & one file: dng_sdk libjpeg xmp ReadMe.txt4) within the libjpeg folder, I have renamed jconfig.vc to jconfig.hAre there any other dependencies I need to install? or steps to take to have dng_validate correctly compile?
I have just upgraded to a Canon 80d and my Elements 9 won't open the RAW file. I believe I need RAW 9 at least for the 80d and my Elements 9 is working on RAW 6. I have tried the updates section on my help menu to try and force an update but nothing happens. I have also tried to find a link on the adobe website to manually download an update. I have come across the option to use the DNG converter but really don't want to faff around doing this every time I download images from my memory card. Surely every time you upgrade your camera you shouldn't have to buy a new version of Elements? There must be a way to update the programme?
Hi Does anyone know how to open Nikon D850 RAW files...I have some sample pics taken 2 days ago but can't open through Lightroom,Camera Raw,DNG converter or Nikon software?ThanksJon
Bonjour,J'ai fait MAJ Mac 10.13.1 et depuis lorsque je mets les captions Photoshop CS5 et Bridge quitte
When I was working with Adobe Camera Raw (version 9.12.1.790) on latest macOS 10.13 High Sierra following bug occured: hovering with the mouse over ACR menu and commands quick infos appear. Normaly they vanish when the cursor is moving on. Now it can happen that the quick infos (looking like yellow post its) persist and do not fade out again, blocking the view to the interface (see the screenshots).I use a 13" MacBook Pro (2015) with an Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB, Metal turned on.Strangely it only happens when you start the plugin from Adobe Bridge CC not Photoshop CC (where I turned off quick infos). Is it possible to turn quick infos off in Adobe Bridge CC or ACR GUI?GPU performance turning on and off doesn't help.
When I drag DNG file into PS, before the file is opened in the native PS window, i get the popup window of Camera Raw, where I can crop/modify picture, and RE-SAVE it as DNG :However, when I re-open the saved file again, and click crop, then it reinstates in the INITIAL, THE ORIGINAL PICTURE...How can I avoid that? When I modify/crop the DNG and save it again as DNG, I want that last DNG was the final file (so, I want that cropped area was lost forever)
When I import DNG/RAW image into PS, I get the popup:I am interested, does it matter, if I change these settings while importing DNG, or can i import, save as PNG , and then later, modify the CURVE/COLORS with PS native-settings, instead of CameraRaw popup window? Will the results be the same ? I ask this because, i couldnt understand if it matters where I modify the image - during the import or in PS.
bonjour,je n'ai le preset correction du voile dans le module effets - malgré mes mise à jourje viens d'acheter une D850 et malgré la mise à jour je ne peux pas lire les fichiers raw de ce nouvel appareilmerci de vos aide
Is there a camera profile in Camera Raw that gives me an image similar to the EOSHD or Cinestyle log picture profiles?I'd like to start grading from a flatter starting point, like the EOSHD picture profile look.Suggestions of any other ways of achieving this are more than welcome.Best,Anton
Hi everyone. It`s obviously I have a problem with ACR converter. When converting a pack of images, some files are broken like this:https://s7.postimg.org/5cbd6zd4b/DM_0084.jpg At first I think that it`s a incident case, but quite a contrary - every time when converting files using ACR from bridge appears this problem.I think Adobe developer should fix this bug.
since downloading adobe dng converter to enable continued use of photoshop cs6 [ new camera]. when cs6 opens image to its raw panel, any of the function icons used, their info dialog boxes remain on the screen and can only be removed by quitting photoshop cs6. Dialog boxes perform correctly when using photoshop main panel. Please can anyone help. Stuart
Do I not see Canon 70d in list of camera models because I am using Win7?
Hello,I've been having problems with Photoshop and Bridge freezing once I go through Camera Raw.This happens with single and multiple images, all three buttons (Open Image, Cancel, Done) cause the programs to crash. So far I've found that with "Use Graphics Processor" unchecked, it works fine. When checked, underneath the box it says "OpenGL: AMD Radeon HD 5670"People seem to leave this information below too so here it is:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHzRAM 4.00 GBThanks in advance for your help!
I have the latest version of CC.I downloaded Olympus RAW files (ORF) yesterday and worked on some photos in ACR. Today I went back to some of them to modify some local adjustments. For some reason the pins are white and there is no way to click on them so I can make modifications. I can't even delete them without removing all my adjustments. When I try to click on them I get a new pin, which of course can't be modified either. I haven't used PS in a couple of weeks but this has never happened before.I hope someone can show me how to fix this.
Hello All,I am currently trying to find the best way to achieve a big task; I have a large number of photos for a client (2500) that need to be be cropped into a square image, but currently all these images all vary in their aspect ratio. In order to avoid upsampling and cropping each image individually in photoshop, I've found a script that will create a 1:1 aspect ratio by adding white margin to the short side of the image.. that's the easy part.SO, I am left with images that have a 1:1 aspect ratio, but now that white space needs to be cropped out. This is where I need help.I was trying to achieve this in ACR because it will allow me to custom crop multiple images while preserving the 1:1 ratio. I need to be able to control/adjust the crop if needed, so auto crop or a same-crop script will not do. The problem is, that because ACR is parametric editor, it does not allow me to overwrite my existing jpegs. The program creates a copy and adds a "_1" to the end of EVERY file and, regardl
I own the standalone Lightroom 6 program. I've updated to version 6.13. The program has never recognized my imported files from any of my three Sony RX100 cameras (I own I, IV, and V) and applied the appropriate lens correction. If I go into the lens profile pull down menu and select Sony, the only camera models I see are DSC-RX1, -RX1R, and -RX1RM2. I would expect that Lightroom has the capability of correcting the lens distortions for such popular cameras but I have struggled in vain to find out what the problem is. Can anyone help?
