Hi I just got lightroom and I think it would be great if a future update would include the following: 1) The ability to sync the 'tint' colour adjustment without affecting the colour temperature when syncing multiple photos 2) somehow making it easier to import presets from ACR into lightroom, I have about 20 and it was a pain in the butt to bring them all over to lightroom 😃 Thanks for listening xx
Ok, whenever I try to use Camera Raw my computer crashes.For example, I go to the ''presets'' tab, bam, it crashes, I try edit with some masks, bam, it crashes....and yeah, why is my color profile set to Display P3, I havent changed that, I need Adobe RGB to submit to Adobe Stock?This is the second time I see that my color profiles changing in Adobe Camera Raw. Last time it changed to Rec. 2020ACR Version 17.1.0.2100Windows 10 ProThanks for the help fellas.
Hi, Pshop 26.2 and rawcon 17.1.1I have a sky, basically white, then the far hills are cyan, yuk, then nearer hills are darker.If I was in Pshop and having taken the image, pasted it into channels, adjusted contrast then levels to maximise the white/black areas, I can then use that as a selection.In raw mode I made a mask using colour range, turned on white on black view. then not finding such controls as I would use, had to paint out most of the grey areas with a brush which put down black, but the more subtle areas need contrast and levels to black/white them . see attached image. I see no means of doing that. There is no levels or contrast. I drag the black slider and white on black view of mask vanishes. The masking tools seem VERY PRIMITIVE , cannot do correct masking with them. Used select subject but it selected buildings I had not even told it to, surely it should ask me to click on the subject. Where is magic wand to select the masked area, could do a mask
hello everyone, ı used Apple mac m3 pro, and ps2025 26.3 camera raw 17.1After opening a raw photo with PS, masking operations do not work correctly when the camera is opened in raw. For example, when I say detect background or subject, it shows a fool siily different masking. The strange thing is that these masks work smoothly in Lightroom. I received remote assistance, they reinstalled and deleted the program many times, my problem could not be solved.
My husband and I have an issue importing Hasselblad fff files (produced by Hasselblad's Phocus) into Lightroom Classic. We often shoot in a different aspect ratio (1:1, x-pan, etc), which is shown on the rear LCD and in the jpg images. It seems the in-camera aspect ratio chosen (as shot) is not reflected on import into Lightroom Classic. Our Lightroom version is 14.0.1. This happens for both of us, operating the same Hasselblad camera system and different installations of LRC on 2 Mac Studios.We also have a FUJI system, in which the raw import does show if an alternate in-camera aspect ratio is used. Finally, if we instead import the 3fr file into LRC, the crop DOES show. However, the 3fr file is much larger (30 to 40% larger) than the fff - so it would be preferable to use the smaller sized fff. I am hoping that this may be a bug that can be fixed so that we can find a workaround while the issue is addressed. Do you have any recommendations? I can supply
Hi everyone !I am using Photoshop elements 2021.After editing a RAW file, how can I save it into a JPEG file ? In the left bottom corner, I only have a button called "Aide" (which means "Help"). I have no button called "Save", as I have seen on some youtube help videos.The only format available when I want to save is DNG. Does anyone can help me ?Thnak you in advance. 🙂
Hi,Auto sometimes works, sorts out exposure and colour balance etc.If I draw a mask for the area I want auto to work on, I then dont see an auto expsure button to use !Its not doing anything at all in my image of a wall grasses and a bright sky so I want to apply auto to all but that sky.If I were in photoshop I would reach for levels auto, also a good one to do. or adjustments auto colour.where are any of the autos for when we have masked an area for applying changes to ? I can mess about for ages sliding sliders to and fro, trying to create the average scene from what is one but is incorrectly exposed or has a colour issue etc, grasses and bushes auto should understand. Hi,Could someone please do a step by step on selecting sky and not branches and leaves of trees and grasses on an embankment etc.Sky sounds good until it doesnt get the parts between branches leave and doesnt exclude tall grasses and weedy plants etc on an embankment etc. I am sure I am not the only one who when having to brush over these bits with a less than wonderful choice of brush sizes at the small end of the choice, is thinking this isnt right. both on brush choice and having to do so at all. Here is mask 1 filter sky and as you can see its not great at the bushes, then create mask 2 luminance and click sky near a bush, better, but how do I then combine the two, I see no means of doing so, dead easy in pshop but raw seems useless at selections and masks compared to what one can do in channels.Am I missing something, I wish to combine the best of these and get a decent sky selection. Hi, 2 weeks and still trying to get set up sorted.Having just installed Pshop 26.2 and set up RAW 17.1.1 with 18% grey interface, for correct colour and brightness judgement, having installed Bridge from the Cloud apps that came with the purchase, (as it doesnt do so in the install )I use Bridge to open 4 images at same time into raw, as Pshop wont do so, (wish Adobe fixed that issue, been with us since CS3)but Bridge opens a different raw interface than does Pshop 26.2dark charcoal grey.Should it not be the same raw converter whichever way we come at it ?I will have to alter prefs in it to match those in Pshop route, and if I alter one, then alter it from the Bridge route as well. or does it at least adopt the prefs from when I set them in 26.2 ? It ignored the grey one. and is Lightroom likely to also open a different raw again ? Merlin3
I was editing some events photos and started noticed a strange pattern with low light files, and with the Lens Correction feature activated. I increase the exp so you can see better the lines. ISO 6400. Check the file
Hallo, ich brauche unbedingt mal Hilfe.Seit zwei Tagen habe ich das Problem das, wenn ich in Photoshop den Camera Raw Filter öffne meine Einstellungen mache und dann OK drücke, dann friert meine komplette Obere Menüleiste bei meinem MacBook ein. Ich kann auf keine weiteren Filter mehr zugreifen, keine Datein speicher und die App auch nicht schließen. Ich erkundige mich bereits seit 2 Tagen, was ich machen kann um diesen Fehler zu beheben. Das MacBook ist auf dem Neusten stand sowie Photoshop und Camera Raw. Den Cache habe ich bereits schon geleert und habe auch versucht den GPU umzustellen, allerdings alles erfolglos, denn das Problem besteht weiterhin. Die Anfoderungen für Camera Raw 17.0 sind ebenfalls alle erfüllt.
Hello,it seems like since the last update of Photoshop to Version 25.11.0 Camera Raw stopped working.When trying to use the shortcut or opening it from the dropdown menu (Filter > Camera Raw Filter), it seems something is happening, however the camera raw window itself is not visible at all.How do I get to that conclusion? When using the shortcut, the options to edit the image itself disappear - plus when using the ESC key they reappear.So it seems like the window is somehow open but not visible?!Is there anything I can do? Anyone else got that issue?Thanks in advance.

Everything looked great in Camera RAW, with smooth gradients in the background transitioning beautifully from white to black. However, when I opened the same file in Photoshop, the gradients didn’t appear as smooth anymore. The tonal gradations, particularly in the background, seem to lose their softness in Photoshop. Am I correct in thinking that we have to manually apply denoise in camera raw for each image file? We can't include that setting in sync?
Hello.Problem.I've just started to convert 16 years' worth of Canon RAW files to compressed DNG to save space. I'm using the latest DNGC build 17.1 and noticed that on my main workstation, it struggles with having so many cores. The program assigns a conversion to each CPU thread, so my PC is loading 48 RAW files at a time. The Task Manager is showing 100% CPU and 50% RAM.When I run DNGConverter on my two Acer laptops and an old Intel PC from 2017, I get better performance, so something is definitely not right.If I run the conversion from the Samsung SSD 990 PRO 4TB drive, the performance is okay. But all my files are on many external HDDs connected via USB3. What I can gather is that USB3 is causing a bottleneck, and having so many RAW files loaded at once into 48 threads is also bottlenecking. Fixed it?After some tests, it seems that if I boot Windows via msconfig with only 12 cores selected, the CPU is at 98% to 100% and memory is at 15% to 20%, so there is plenty of RAM headro
Hi I was able to use the denoise AI at first (and it worked great), but now every time I use it, it starts to process and then then about half way it pops up an error message (see screen grab), before it can generate the dng.It has also crashed and restarted my machine a few times. My machine is fairly old, but it does tecnichnically meet the requirements to use this feature. My software is up to date, and therefore my GPU is up to date. I have searched formums and found similar, but not exactly same issues (mostly microsoft users). Tried: processing an 8 bit file instead of 16 bit. This worked once, but not repeatable. Anyway i woud like to be able to process 16 bit files. Updated to latest software etc. Short of a full full system clean install I'm hoping there may be some solutions here. Hi! I've been dealing with this issue for a week and I can't find any solution. When I try to edit a CR3 picture and open it with Photoshop, it says that the GPU acceleration has been disabled for the rest of the sesion because a timeout execution error. I have a Laptop with an internal GPU Intel Iris XE and a dedicated GPU Nvidia GTX 4060 Laptop.I've tried this KB: https://helpx.adobe.com/es/camera-raw/kb/acr-gpu-faq.htmlAlso reinstalled GPU drivers, force apps to use Nvidia Graphics Card and none of that worked.I've tried to downgrade the Graphics Card drivers, Photoshop, Bridge... Nothing worked.The only thing that worked was disabling Intel Iris XE but the entire system started to go slow.The Graphics card is compatible with both Apps, I did the checking.Any help will be appreciate it. My OS is a Windows 11 Pro with these specs:CPU: Intel 13th i7-13700HRAM: 32GBB.R
When most users turn day photos into night photos, the radial gradient tool is used to add light to a fixture in the scene. In architectural and landscape lighting, most of the fixtures are spot lights. The radial gradient feature requires a ton of editing to the mask to make it work and the end resulkt isnt that great. I would love a point gradient mask. One point is the light bulb, the opposite point would be the total throw distance of the light. That point would also get spreader points to make the triangle shaped spot light throw narrow or wide. Taking it to the next level would also add an internal point which would create the hot spot of the light. This would be another point gradient from the light source to the top of the hot spot
My new Camera Raw 17.1 is automatically applying any changes I make to one file to a duplicate sitting in Adobe Bridge. I created the duplicate to do something different with, which I have always been able to do. How can I correct this?Mac OS Sequoia 15.2. Photoshop 2025. New computer and big jump for me in Photoshop/Bridge etc. Trying to resolve quite a few changes I don't like!
Downloaded cameraraw 14.5 on monterey, installation successful as per screenshot. any one know why in PS and raw (bridge) my brushes show a cirle when i adjust a size but then turn to outside points when tyhe cursor is moved. ? AND yes caps lock is off
Why is my ARC window stuck in one monitor? cant drag it into the other - and always opens there ... all other applicacions no problem? ... happened after recent update.btw, It's not on full-screen mode. Thanks
After editing my images in Adobe RAW, I click open (Bottom Right) but nothing happens, why?
I have a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone. I believe, at least according to the Adobe website, that it is compatible with the latest version of the .DNG converter (17.1) for Mac. I've downloaded it, but it doesnt recognise any of my .DNG files. They are all greyed out. Am I missing something? I have an iMac 2019
.CR3 RAW files from a Canon EOS 5R mk II will not display in MacOS preview if "HDR (PQ)" is enabled on the camera. Disabling the "HDR PQ" option and the .CR3 RAW files can be previewed fine.What is HDR PQ? https://en.canon-cna.com/get-inspired/tips-and-techniques/hdr-pq/ Please fix this. I believe it should be possible to preview .CR3 RAW files even if HDR PQ is enabled.Not sure if Adobe needs to fix it or Canon or Apple?
