Camera Raw

Hi. I'm new to lightroom classic and i have issues with file size when images are exported .I imported an image as a raw file into my library, watermarked it and expoted it as a jpeg. File size ended up being 203kb. I imported the same image as a jpeg into my photo app, cloned it a little before saving it. This same image is 5.93mb This is happening to all of my files

Two days ago I updated to the new version of Camera Raw. This update sure has made my work flow slower. I use a 5 x 7 crop format often and in the old version the crop format stayed at 5 x 7 aspect ratio unless I used something else. Now the aspect ratio is always at 2 x 4 / 4 x 6 and I have to click to get 5 x 7. This update really isn't an improvement in my opinion and I use Camera Raw everyday.Is there anyway to have a legacy option for the old version in the next update? Please?

Until yesterday I used Camera raw normally. Today I have an error (until opening files in Adobe Bridge) as attached.It says: "The function of editing files in camer raw format is not allowed.Editing with the Adobe Camera Raw is possible only if you have a licence to use it".Photoshop and Bridge are working just fine.I have reinstalled Photoshop. All of the Adobe programs are listed as uptodate.What else can I do to use Camera Raw normally (I want to open files from Adobe Bridge with the right mouse click and option: Open in Camera Raw).Please give me an advice,regardsD.  

Does the simple vignette in Camera Raw Filter still exist? In older versions of Photoshop, it was insanely simple to do, now I've upgraded and doing a simple vignette seems to be a ridiculously complicated process. Unless you want it stock standard around the corners. Anything that's not centred and it seems to be complex. I can't seem to find anything anywhere about it. Any help much appeciated.

Camera Raw screen, when importing images to Photoshop, is too large for most laptop screens. You have to force close Adobe as you can't get the button to close the window.

I have suddenly started seeing "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature."I have tried the suggested fix of closing Bridge and opening a licenced app then reopeniong Bridge (I have a Photography subscription), without sucess.I also tried wiping and reinstalling all my CC apps, but that hasn't worked either..I can open in Photoshop, but the Open in Camera raw from File menu' right-clickor toolbar button all give the error as does Edit > Camera Raw Preferences.

I've been attempting to install 3rd party .xmp plugins in camera raw. After downloading the file from the 3rd party, I was able to open all plugins without issue. When following a tutorial and attempting to install in camera raw, the .xmp files were gray'd out and I was not able to install.  Has anyone had this issue and how did you resolve it?  I appreciate any help/suggestions. Where can I find the camera profiles for Camera Raw on a M1 Mac? I have looked in the following location and the Camer Profiles folder is empty.Library>Application Support>Adobe Camera Raw>Camera Profiles. Thanks for your support and help!Mike

Hello, I am hoping I can find some help here to solve this issue under Windows 10.My AMD 6000XT is recognised by Photoshop for Display, but not for:GPU for image processingGPU for Open and SaveMy photoshop version is up to date and I just updated the drivers for the GPU.Any thoughts?Thanks,Terence

 Hi, Camera Raw editing is not enabled? Worked fine yesterday & cant do anything at all today. Licensed & ok. Tried to restart everything including PS but no luck. Can anyone help me out here? thanks

ever since i updated my operating system last month i have had this issue - i went back to an older (2021) version of bridge and photoshop, but apple wont allow me to revert to the older OS. i can only save .xmp if i work from my desktop, if i open something and edit it on an external drive, it will not save the .xmp and the work is lost. this is slowing me down as i need to transfer all my work to desktop to edit, then back to an external to store. i have searched this phrase and all posted solutions have been attempted.pleae advise!

For a few days now I have this error message once I close my files on camera raw."Unable to save raw data conversion settings, a write permissions error has occurred." I state that I open the files on camera raw via bridge.It's like it can't save the xmp file. I have already tried to change the folder to the files, but unfortunately the error returns.The strangest thing is that it happens sometimes yes and sometimes not. I use a Mac, with the same files, on another Mac it doesn't happen. What could have happened?

I really want to  edit layer by layer and until today I had an error message when opening camera raw with ctrl + shift + a about the an error with the graphics processor.I fixed this by ncreasing the cache to 10gb for camera raw. However the same thing still happens as I exit camera raw window - photoshop bugs out and stops showing my project (see attachment) Under GPU compability everything is OK. I have restarted, updated and tested everything I can find online.Any ideas as to why it crashes every time? Thanks.

Scrubby Zoom is now greyed out and is not working.  However, it is working in Camera Raw.  When you open an image from Camera Raw the Scrubby Zoom box will be checked for  a few seconds and then goes away.  Very strange.  Anyhow, wondering if anyone has any ideas?  I've gone through Edit-Preferences-Tools and tried making changes but nothing seems to work..... -Kurt

If I press P to toggle the Preview of changes compared with the original photo more than two times, the third time it just seems to change settings randomly and the fourth time, a Trash Can icon is flashing briefly over the photo. If multiple files are open, the Trash Can icon is remaining over all photos. Am on the latest version of all Creative Cloud apps and MacOS 12.4. Have no idea what is going on....

I've updated Camera Raw, and dowloaded the stndalone DNG Concerter app, but nothing seems to work in importing to any of my Lightroom apps - Classic or new.  I played around a bit with my Photoshop and Bridge, but I don't have such mastery that I can do the whole folder of NEF files.  Coaching or a link for me to study please? 

Does the Canon R5 Raw work with Windows 7?I think that I already know the answer, but if you do not ask you do not receive an answer no matter how the chips fall! 

I cannot find it anywhere in the documentation (and could have sworn this was possible in previous iterations of Camera Raw), how do I load multiple images into Camera Raw, use Scrubby Zoom (or Zoom generally) and make sure that each image I tabe to is in exactly the same location, at the same zoom setting? This is very useful in many many ways specifically to check and see if an image has shifted at all during a photoshoot (eg., night sky work and wind moving the camera EVER so slightly). There should be a way to see if the images line up perfectly without having to align them and check (far too time and resource intensive). 

Hello everyone, I was thrilled with the masking tool in Camera Raw last spring.  I just updated my camera raw to 12.4, and I can't find the masking panel.  Did they remove it with this update?  If not, where is it?
