Starting with ACR version 13, zooming while using Option + Scroll Wheel doesn't work when using the Adjustment Brush (k) and Spot Removal (b) tools. The scroll wheel adjusts the brush size *regardless* of whether the Option key is pressed or not. This is NOT the case when other tools are in use, and was not the case with version 12. Option + Scroll Wheel works to zoom with all other tools except the Adjustment Brush (k) and Spot Removal (b) tools. As far as I can tell, this is a BUG that persists since version 12. This is inconsistent with every other Adobe product, including Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Zooming using Option key + Scroll Wheel and panning with the space bar behavior is consistent across all Adobe platforms, but for some reason stopped with ACR version 13. Thus, the only reason is it must be a bug. Please FIX it!
Many years ago I bought Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 6 as stand alone versions. I got a new computer and I am trying to move these programs to my new computer. They are installed and working but when I try to move a photo from LR to PS it says I need adobe camera raw 10.1. If I knew what the plugin file was called I could try to do a search on my old system to see if I still have it, or need to be able to download it again. I am wondering if there is a way to get the plugin and/or I could just copy the camera raw folders from my old system into the same spot on my new system. I found a download on filehorse.com, but I am leery of downloading an .exe from a 3rd party source. Thanks Windows 10Photoshop CS6Lightroom 6

When exporting image files from Lightroom Classic (11.2) with chromatic abbreation and profile corrections enabled (Sony FE A7R-III / Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM) and merging those photos with Lighten blend mode in Photoshop (23.2.2) by stacking them as layers, two concentric bandings that cover across the entire image emerge. Disabling vignetting to 0 reducde the effect to some extent but doesn't remove it completely. Disabling both chromatic abbreation and lens corrections completely removes the effect entirely. I reported this issue on https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/66239744 but there is another report of the same issue in 2017: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4160819
I am on a PC using Photoshop 23.3.2 and have recently discovered Camera Raw, which would appear to be the answer to my many needs. However, I can't find anything to help orient me. So I have a number of questions. Under my Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop appears as does Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. They can be opened. Camera Raw appears ( I think I recently had the option of updating it) but it does not have an "open" but. 1)Does that mean I need to open it as a Camera Raw filter while in Photoshop? 2) A number of other users have indicated opening Camera Raw through Bridge. What is that? Do I need it? 3) Once I am able to open Camera Raw and grab a raw file from Photoshop by opening as and then changing the format to Camera Raw once I make a change, is clicking "Done" the same as saving the file? And is the file to be saved in a particular format (I will want to make more changes). 4) Where are the Adobe Camera Raw tutorials? I don't see a Help button
Hello I have an idea about slightly different way of White Balancing: 1. suppose we have photographed a human head in several different light scenarios with varying light color 2. we have also photographed neutral gray patch in one of those photos to reach correct WB for this particular photo 3. now we could use the new tool [let's call it 'Color Anchor'] which works this way:a) we sample color of the skin on the forehead of this human and ACR gets color data, eg. RGB(200, 153, 129) [#c89981]b) we then 'lock this color' in this toolc) next we take another photo of this human and click with this new tool and its locked color on the foreheadd) now since this is the same human and the same forehead - we can reach the same colors and WB by applying WB transformation from 'Color Anchor' tool I have no doubts it could be valuable for almost everyone since WB is very important when developing RAWs. cheers,Sempoo
Hello, When using Ccamera raw I have two options when ready with the adjustments: And I have the Dutch version: OPEN/OPEN and it opens the picture in Photoshop GEREED/READY and it closes the picture and saving the adjustments. After this you can proceed with selecting pictures in Bridge. The shortcut on the mac keyboard for OPEN is the "press ENTER", but what is the shortcut for GEREED/READY? Seems it's not available and I need it to program my Loupdeck keyboard. So vote for this.
Hello everyone. I'm a long time photoshop user who never learned how to use lightroom. When I started editing I learned from a friend who only used Camera Raw. In the following 10 years I've become rather sadly dependant on my workflow and the use of the brushes I've created in Camera Raw. Up until last month I only edited on my 2010 Mac Pro and thus my Adobe isn't the most up to date. Currently my desktop says it running Camera Raw 14.2 Fast forward to today. Im typing this from a new M1 Macbook which has the latest Camera Raw 14.3 I believe and the layout is slightly different. I've found out where I can make brushes but I can't seem to make one and save it in the program. Am I doing somthing wrong? And my main question is this. Is there a way to transfer all of the brushes I've made on my older version to my new computer running the 14.3? Or can I get 14.2 on my new Mac Book? Thank you all in advance for your time. Have a nice day.
Grazie.
Hi Everyone.I have a problem / bug on my new Macbook Pro.Camera raw filter does not appear in filter tab in PS (only for second User). It is listed in CC apps.Everything is updated in CC. I tried to reinstall PS and install Camera raw manually - nothing worked.Any ideas? Thanks.Peter
I have accidentally opened an RAF file in Camera Raw whilst working on a photoshop file. Everything on the Camera Raw window is greyed out, including the buttons and I can't escape using the keys. I can't get back to my photoshop file to save it so can't quit. If I move the Camera Raw window i can see a ghosted "Welcome to Camera Raw 14.3, learn more, get started," picture of a turtle, etc. Can anyone help? Thanks {Title edited by Moderator}
I 've changed my laptop for à macbbok M1 and since then When I open my camera raw the dialogue page is all black? I can't see anything except "open the image" "cancel" button...
Hello, I hope someone can help. I am currently running Elements 2021 which is the most up to date verson of 2021. I have then downloaded Camera RAW 13.1 as currently I have 13.0 and this cannot read my files from a Nikon Z6ii. I can download it and install it and it tells me I have installed it succesfully, yet when I reload Elements 2021 the Camera RAW version is still the previous version 13.0I am running a MacBook Pro 15inch 2017. (Version 12.4)If anyone can assist me I would be forever grateful. I only updated to Elements 2021 (from 2017) so I could view my images on my Z6ii but as I haven't been successful in updating Camera RAW since I purchased it and therefore feel it's been a waste of money to upgrade. And now this is my last hope.
Hi, my laptop is 32-bit. Does the camera raw have a 32-bit version?And if a 32-bit version is available, which Photoshop program is it compatible with?
Great - all the text I just added was erased when I changed the 'Conversation Type' from Discussion to Bug. Let me type this again....I opened up this bug I am encountering with Bridge:https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-discussions/12-02-crashing-with-cr2-files/td-p/12972558So, while I am encountering this in Bridge, there seems to be some sort of Camera Raw dependency. I am unsure if the Camera Raw App is utilized by Bridge when creating the thumbnails, but I see how there is a possibility there is some shared code library used by both to handle the CR2 files.What has me wondering if I am on the right path is that while I originally thought this was just with Bridge 12.0.2 I am now encountering this with my Bridge CS6 7.0. In the few articles I have read, it seems like CS6 and CC use different Camera Raw plugins, so I would think CS6 would have been isolated. Any thoughts on what driver/library/app is shared between CS6 and CC and what I can try reverting to
I am using LRC release 11.3.1 with Camera Raw 14.3. I have imported some astro photos from the camera and switched to the develop module. In the lense corrections under the profile tab I checked remove chromatic aberation adnd enable profile corrections. Setup is Auto. My lense is not available in the Lens profile drop downs. It is a SIGMA 28mm F1.4 DG HSM lense. The adobe support webpage (Supported lenses (adobe.com)) Shows this lense as being available: Lens SIGMA 28mm F1.4 DG HSM A019 Lens mount Canon, Nikon F, SIGMA, Sony FE8Minimum Lightroom Classic/Camera Raw/Photoshop version required. 3/11.3 The drop downs offer very few Sigma lenses, all older, specifically:dp0 through dp3 quattro, two DCs and three DGs, the DGs are 8mm, 12-24mm and 15mm. I am running this on windows 10 on a 7 year old
Hi, I work on Camera RAW (version 14.3.0.1072) since Adobe Bridge opening version 12.0.1.246 (DNG files taken from my Mavic3 Cine).My computer is a macbook pro with a M1 Max Chipset and on MacOS 12.4 Monterey.Tonight, The app crashed suddenly during modifying colorimetry on many pictures (15 DNG files). At the beginning I thought my trackpad was responsable of that because the pointer suddenly went at the bottom left of the screen, then camera raw window diseappeared and let me returning into Bridge.Then I understood I lost near 2 hours or my working time...Not the first time. The problem doesn't come from the trackpad because when you cancel into Camera Raw, the app ask you if you want to keep or not the modifications...If someone has some solutions for this, I'll be happy to learn it. For the moment I think I return to LightRoom hoping no crash this time....Thanks for your understanding and hope I m not the one did this happen to.
Currently I have bought the Nikon Z7II and the resolutions of the pictures are awesome, but when I want to edit my RAW pictures, Photoshop isn´t able to open my files.My "Camera RAW" version is 13.0 but it requires more than 13.1 to edit my pictures. The issue with that is, that I downloaded the newer "Camera Raw" version, but it isn´t appearing in Photoshop Elements. Someone familiar with this issue?
IN ver 14.3 Bit rusty, but interface is always changing too, so headspinning. Just opened 60 images or so from Bridge. Most are BW with few color. I want to now bring them all back to color, but don't see an easy way to do this. or option 2: one color image there is in preview: How do tell ACR to just select everything and match that color one? thanks.
latest version of Camera RAW. Raw says unexpected error when trying to slect sky. Raw says cannot load AI model (sic) when trying to select subject. Doesn't matter whether use GPU is on auto or off. {Thread title updated for better reach by moderator}
Where can I find the lens profile dialogue box in Photoshop CC raw processor. I want to asign my lens profile to a batch of images waiting to be processed.
Hello everyone, since the last update I can't manage the size or rotation of the masks... this is very annoiyng and makes me loose so much time. Help ? thanks, Juan
I am a new user of Bridge, Camera Raw and Photoshop. I notice on several You Tube tutorials that in camera raw, the location of the tools are expaned across the top which seems more consistant with Photoshop. In fact, I didn't really even notice that tools like those found in Photoshop even existed in Camera Raw, since they were down the right side in a conpressed format. There seems to be no documentation regarding how to do this. Can someone give me a clue how to customize this workspace in Camera Raw? I run this on a Windows 11 PC. Thank you.
Hello! My name is Adrian and I have been retouching photos for other photographers for many years. I have realized that the most time consuming process of processing each photo in camera raw is straightening the photos. Not all photographers are able to take photos with a straight horizon, many take 90% of the photos crooked. With artificial intelligence it is not currently possible to add a button to automatically straighten the photos? The function of drawing a line on the horizon on a 13-inch screen, with the effect of un-zooming the photo to straighten, makes it very inaccurate on a small screen. I think it would be a good idea and would save many photographers and retouchers a lot of time. Thank you.
Hi! Just got phone with dng. format when I open them in photoshop RAW editor all of them came out with pink hue and some of them with big red spots, do you have any idea why?
