There was a very useful half tone filter on the right hand panel in ACR. It has gone in the latest update. Does it still exist? This was one of my favourite tools.
Hi,I can't get ACR 14.0 to open images into Photoshop. When I press the "Open" button on ACR, it opens Photoshop, but the image isn't transferred. To get the image into Photoshop I need to return to Bridge, right click and select "Open in Photoshop." Then, of course, the DNG opens first in ACR; NOW, when I push the open button on ACR, it will transfer the image.Sorry, I can't find a preference or adjustment that fixes the problem. Thanks,
all my presets in camera raw dont work anymore. Camera Raw tells me they are e beta version. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance
bonjourquand je lance photoshop soit par CC, soit par bridge ou même en direct, une fois la photo à retoucher choisie c'est camera raw qui se lance mais inutilisable car complètement hors taille, je suis obligée de forcer la fermeture... comment faire?
Hi,My computer : Ryzen9 5950X , G.SKILL Royal Elite 64GB, MSI RX 6900 XT GAMING X .I am a photographer and i use photoshop almost everydays. 2 weeks ago i went to a bussiness trip and now come back to work and can't use camera raw now. Everytime i tried to load my preset and the computer just lost video signal to screen and hang there. Can't even use the power button in the computer to reset, i have to turn the AC power down and boot again. This only happen with CameraRaw, all other functions of Photoshop are work perfectly. I'v tried to re-install windows 10 and photoshop, re-install vga and chipset drivers but it did not help. Here are the video clip that describe the problem : https://drive.google.com/file/d/17hj7pFx0zRbTa05W6Pf4PYRJGagIv9CO/view?usp=sharing
Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone can help me with this bug. 1. Using lightroom classic, or Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop CS6 or Photoshop CC 2021 2. Windows 10 3. Slide the "shadows" slider in parametric curve and observe shadows and histogram 4. Expected result - from left to right shadows get pushed uniformly into the blacks. Actual result - at certain points shadows abruptly reform, unnaturally losing detail, as seen here: https://youtu.be/QrYbNXMl4LQ This makes it very difficult/sometimes impossible to adjust blacks properly. I've already tried every combination of "use GPU for..." in camera raw preferences and fully updated each app. Thanks for any help!
In Lightroom I can turn off any modules in develop. And it stays off till I turn it on again. Why can't I do the same in Camera Raw 14?
I recently converted a Nikon camera to infrared. Adobe's dng profile editor appears to be the only way to get infrared white balancing to work in the raw editor as well as light room classic . I have a lot of OCD related anxiety and after seeing how old the dng profile editor is, I have been having panic attacks about it eventually being neglected and becoming obsolete. Can you comment on Adobes future investment in the dng profile editor. Also do you know of a more up to date system for extending white balance in the raw. Thank you for your help. 11:51 AM
hi so i updated all my apps. Photoshop and Camera RAW the editing section either has a bug or has been changed in a bad way i used to be able to have one screen open with Basic Adjustments and then ALSO with noise and sharpening sliders (detail). now i must toggle back and forth which is very time consuming. also when i go to the noise section the other tabs close and i have to re open everything again.. pls advise and thanks
My zipped presets imported no problem into Lightroom, but ACR is having non of it.They appear to be imported in that the selected zip file is accepted, but they do not appear in the ACR Preset lists. Any idea why ?I am using the most recent versions of all Adobe apps, and am on Windows.
I know there's a fix in progress for the mouse stuttering in Photoshop 2022 v23.0, but consider also RAW file opened with Camera RAW (before PS open) that have problem of "blackout screen effect" if this workaround is used.
I was editing about 800 photos in camera raw and overnight my computer shut down, consequently, photoshop closed, I tried to open the same files again and they are no longer edited. Can I recover these files already edited somehow? or at least activate something autosave in case it happens again?
I think this is a bug. At the very least, it's different than the previous version of ACR:ACR 14.0 no longer "remembers" the Invert setting for the mask, regardless if "Reset Sliders Automatically" is enabled or not. Additionally, a masking adjustment preset doesn't include the "invert" setting. For example: I can save an adjustment preset with slider settings, but if the mask is "inverted" the effect is the opposite unless I recheck the "invert" button each time I bring up the mask preset.Previously, if the "Invert" setting was carried along with the slider settings. Please see if this can be fixed.
My Camera Raw filtering has made a strange previewing page where there are black bars and checkered squared as well as parts of layers that are cut out of the actual project. I cant seem to find out how this came to be or how to get rid of it...any help would be incredibly appreciated.
Using Windows 10. I installed Bridge ver 11.1.0.175 (updated today), Photoshop Elements (PSE) 2021 (properly registered on Adobe), and Adobe Camera Raw 14 (ACR). When I attempt to open a photo in Bridge using ACR, I get the message, "Camera Raw editing is not enabled... requires qualifying product has been licensed." I have read on this forum and elsewhere that Photoshop Elements is a 'qualifying product', so that is puzzling. If I double click in Bridge to open the photo in PSE, it opens in ACR 13. If I go into PSE first, and click on 'Open in Camera Raw', it opens in ACR 13. How can I get it to open in ACR 14 from either PSE or Bridge? (Preferably Bridge if I have to choose between the two!) I've looked at numerous posts on the "Camera Raw editing is not enabled" theme, but didn't see this particular issue. Appreciate any assistance!
Downloaded and installed all new LR, PS, CR software yesterday. Creative Cloud says Camera Raw was updated to version 14 yesterday. However, when sending a photo from Lightroom to Photoshop I get a message that Camera Raw plugin needs to be updated. If I open Camera Raw plugin from within Photoshop 22, it is the old version, not v 14. How can I help Photoshop find the correct updated plugin?
Hi, The new camera RAw update today wont let me work on past projects which I have a deadline today? says its from an unsupported camera raw version? what can I do? I was working on another project earlier on and Camera raw was impossible to use, extra slow. I am using this in a brand new computer.
As far as I can tell, it is impossible to save the new sky color mask effects in (Raw 14.0), either by itself or with other changes. Opening into jpeg or saving back to RAW fails to record the change. Other types of changes work and are saved upon opening in jpg or back to RAW. If I'm missing something, then this new feature is very poorly designed and documented. Using Windows 10, 64 bit, 8 gigs RAM.
I updated Photoshop/bridge/Camera RAW last night and I cannot use the tabs along the menu bar at the top of the screen on my MacBook, what have you done Adobe?
The camera raw adjustment brush is not functioning at all since the latest Photoshop update was installed. Anyone else experience this? How can it be fixed?
I have Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017), and on a whim also installed Camera Raw CC.I've decided I don't want Camera Raw CC as a stand-alone app that gets its own updates, and will stick with LR and PS. When I mouse over the settings pop-up in Creative Cloud, the options to "Manage Application" and "Uninstall Unavailable" appear but are inactive. I've uninstalled Bridge, but I am not seeing a way to uninstall Raw. Lots of Adobe support info on how to Install, but not seeing anything about uninstall.
I am using a Nikon D750 with NIKKOR 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 ED VR. I recently had to redownload Photoshop Elements 12 onto a Windows 10 Pro computer. Previously I had no issue with Photoshop reading my files. I can't get this new download to read any of my RAW files. I have downloaded all the Camera RAW updates available. Can someone help? Customer service sucked and would not help me.
Hi, everyone. I've searched this community and the web at large and most of the solutions to speeding up ACR within PS point to disabling Acronis True Image, which I do not have. I have an 18-month old Windows 10 PC with an i7 processor, 32 GB RAM, PS installed on a 2TB SSD with 1.5TB free; 70% available for scratch on that same SSD, a 6 GB NVIDIA RTX 2060 Graphics card with current drivers. Both PSCC and ACR are up to date. I just timed 4 different .cr3 files and each took nearly one minute to open in ACR; two using File > Open and two just dragging into the interface. This is ridiculous. I've purged the ACR cache, upped the max cache size to 15 GB, tried all three settings of my graphics card (Auto, Custom and Off), to no avail. My graphics cards displays that my system automatically supports full acceleration. ANY ideas??? Sliders are laggy, switching between "tabs" (Basic, Curve, etc.) is laggy, using the adj. brushes is painfully slow. I can't think of anything else t
In previous versons of ACR, after using the crop tool, the zoom setting would revert to "fit in vew" when exiting the crop function. It no longer does this, which is annoying. Am I missing something, or is this a new (un)"feature" of ACR 12.3?For example, I'll edit an image, crop the image, and when I go back to the edit tab, the zoom from the crop view remians. I have to re-select "fit in view" to bring the image back to fill the frame.Am I missing a setting?
