Hi all,I believe this has been previously discussed. I tried to respond to an existing discussion but I got an error. Perhaps it was because it was an old discussion so I am posting this question again. I apologize.I am having the same problem getting self paced learning to work in  both Chrome and IE. In my case, I do not get the pop-up asking me to resume where I left off in either browser. The course always starts at the beginning. I have version 11.5.1.499 installed and it is the only version that has ever been installed on this computer. I have been testing  my courses both on my desktop and from a network folder.I have self paced learning checked. And Never Send Resume Data unchecked. The course will not be run from an LMS but from the customers internal intranet. For the most part my slides are set to No Action on Enter and No Action on Exit. This course is mostly read so I also have an invisible button in the corner of each slide that stops the slide from automaticall

Hi, I have recorded a video that I have inputted in my project (using Captivate 2019), I also recorded audio separately and added it to the Interactive video slide. I added quiz overlays to my Interactive video slide, once the overlay Quiz is done the video continues but my audio starts from the beginning? Can anyone give me feedback on why this is happening? Again, after my quiz overlay, the video continues, but the audio start from the start? Thank you.

URGENT HELP!!!!!!1Can captivate resume slide on the last action. For example,  I have a slide that has animation entrance, audio and all interactive button came in with the audio timeline. When the user click on the button it takes them to another slide but when they return, the whole audio and animation played all over again. Is there a way I can set it as on revisit you can continue from a specific time stamp on the timeline but the next button will not show until all other button has been seletcted.  Thank you for your help.

Hi there!This is driving me bonkers. I have three ongoing Captivate projects, all of which share one image library. Very, very often, when I try to edit an image from the "Library" panel in Captivate, things don't go as expected.Expected behavior:Find image in Library panel and select "Open With Photoshop."Image opens in Photoshop. This is the same image that is saved in my Images directory. (e.g. the folder I have always imported images from.)Make changes and save.In Captivate, select image in Library panel and select "Update."Updated image appears on slide. Actual behavior:Find image in Library panel and select "Open With Photoshop."Image opens in Photoshop. But! The image is not the one from my Images folder. The image name (file name) is truncated, and it's been opened from an entirely different place. Here's an example.The file is named "Guide.jpg" and it's saved in "../Documents/Captivate Projects/Images." When I open it from within Captivate, it's called "Gui3.jpg" and

Hello I have added some scripts in Advanced Actions to display the progress indicator. My total slide count is 16. The course will be 100% complete till 14th slide. 15th and 16th slides are copyright info.  Due to the Advanced action setup, the video is playing only till 14th slide and does not move to 15th slide.  Here is the image of advanced action. I have applied the advanced action to all the slides.Please let me know what changes I need to make to play all slides. I have tried applying advanced action for On Exit also. It did not work.Note that the variable "finalcount" value is 16.  

Greetings Gurus -  I am assigning an advanced action on three separate text_box_entry fields on three separate slides to validate the entry made matches a specific generic phone number. When I preview the project none of the advanced actions are working. I am adding screenshots to help explain my attempt. I am a beginner with captivate. Please forgive any lack of knowledge. I'm working on trying to find a way to include After Effects animations into my captivate projects using the bodymovin plugin and external javascript files. Before I continue, I'll mention I'm very new to code/javascript libraries/etc. so I may not be correct in everything I say and I apologize. I'd prefer to be able to use after effects animations, because I'm much more familiar with creating motion graphics in AE than using Captivate's clunky effects panel. With the help of other forum users and after a lot of experimentation - I was able to recreate this awesome codepen setup (Simple Bodymovin Demo​)  with my after effects animation using Dreamweaver and publishing the index.html file to a web server. The animation loads up perfectly. I have created a hyperlink on a word to another slide in the project but how do I get back to the slide with the hyperlink on it?

I have text entry box (Text_Entry_Box_29) on slide 2 of .cptx file attached.In Chrome, the 2nd time I run this (and all subsequent tries) an auto-complete box pops up with input options.I don't want this to apear.  I have added javascript to slide (as instructed) to turn off the the auto-complete:$("#Text_Entry_Box_29_inputField").attr("autocomplete","off");But this does not seem to fix?  Other ideas?

Hello!I have a strange question that i'm not sure if it is the LMS or something in captivate. I have a course being piloted and one user did it just fine and one is saying that she dind't get to finish yet it marked her as completed.  Is there a way to A) keep a SCORM object open just be looked at and/or B) open up a scorm package back up after completion? Thank you all you amazing people!!

Hi all,I'm trying to build a quiz that should contain 20 questions and I have 4 modules and in each module I have 10 questions, so the idea is to present randomly 5 questions form each module to the learner.I've imported the questions with GIFT format in 4 pools, I used "Random question" to use 5 questions from each pool, each time when the learner takest he quiz, all works fine. And want to put custom messages (Only one texte) in review mode for each question, I tried to do that with the advanced action using the system variable "cpInReviewMode"If "cpInReviewMode" is equale to 1Action Show text1Show text2etcElse Show text1Show text2etcAnd when I try to select the text elements, all what I have in the drop down menu are the elements that are on the Welcome slide and the results slide...but not the text elements that I have on the question slides.Could someone help me to figure it out please ?

Hi Everybody,I am a beginner in Captivate. I want the slides to be switched manually by the user with a button. But, slides are always switching (next slide) when clicked anywere, at least twice. Also buttons do not work properly, instead slides are switching, like there would be a hidden button or click box overall the slides, but I cant see any.Can someone help, please?Thx a lot.

This is likely an easy one, but I'm pretty new to Captivate. We have a paragraph of text with 30 words highlighted as clickable. (Thinking these would be buttons.) When a user clicks on one of the words they need to get feedback. When they click on the next word the feedback should be replaced with the new words feedback. And so on. Half of the words are correct and the other half are not correct. They will only get 15 tries and can keep trying until they get all of the correct words.  

I am on captivate 11.5.5.676.  I am continually using slide notes.  Sometimes when I use the slide notes, I will change the slide note then when I go back into the slide, instead of what I have written, it will say Enter Slide Note and does not change.   Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times and it will change back to Enter Slide note right before my eyes,   This is getting really frustrating.   Why are they reverting back to Enter Slide Note?   It is randomly doing this.   Sometimes only a few slides in a presentation sometimes it does it over and over again.  I cannot see what I am doing wrong.

My team and I are switching from a non-responsive template to a responsive template, and I have a couple questions in regards to a Responsive project's maximum width of 1280px and the three default breakpoints.I notice that the maximum width of a responsive template within Captivate is 1280px.  If a user is on a computer desktop monitor that has a greater width of 1280px, would the user be able to expand a published responsive project all the way to match the monitor's full dimensions keeping all content in tact and not cut off?Also, if a browser holding a course in primary view was shrunk to a screen size smaller than the maximum tablet view break point width, would the course still be responsive within the rescaled browser window? Hello. I'm using Captivate 2019 and having some issues with the accessibility of hyperlinks. In the Tab Order panel I have arranged all my hyperlinks in the correct order. However when I use my keyboard to navigate the published page, only the buttons work. The tabbing function does not navigate to my hyperlinks. Any help would be appreciated with this issue. Thank you. 

Hello. I'm creating a project using Captivate 2019. Currently when tabbed through with keyboard-only, there is no visible focus around the buttons. This visible focus is important so keyboard users can easily determine which element has focus in order to interact with it correctly. Is there a way to make visible focus or a highlight appear around elements that are selected when tabbing through a project built with Captivate 2019?  thank you! 

Hi,I created a project in Captivate 2019. In one of my slide, I created a button with the action to open another Captivate project, which is a software simulation I created which will serve as a Demo. In the "on success" field, I chose Open another project and selected the "Demo" I created and published. When I review my published final project and I click on my button to launch the demo, I get an error message. What am I doing wrong, I need your help! Thanks 🙂 

I am currently using the trial version of Captivate 2019. I'm making an interactive video, but I've changed the icon color in the assetfrom gray to white and in the layout preview it's changed to white. However, when I publish, the icon is grayed out. It may be very easy, but thank you. 

I am using captivate 2019. When I paste Hindi text in the dropdown under the fill in black, it does not come right as shown in the screenshot below. Please solve this problem. 

I am using Adobe Capticate 2019 11.5.553 to create a learning module. The module is published as an HTML5 file. As settings I use the SCORM 2004 3rd edition.In Firefox the learning state goes to edited after I have closed the module. Nothing happens in Edge. What could be the reason for this?We have ILIAS as our LMS system.
