Hi everyone,We are experiencing an issue with a font installed from Adobe Fonts. While the font appears correctly in other Adobe programs, it does not show up in Articulate Storyline.Could you help us understand why this is happening and how we can resolve it?Thank you!

I had to erase my Solid  State Drive, when I re-instaled Captivate and planned on programming some buttons with advanced actions the window looked like this, I already deleted the program and downloaded it again and the same thing happens.

Hi All,   Is anyone else having issues with inconsistencies? I'm on a MacBook Pro and can run multiple other programs Adobe software - After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator) with 3 or 4 simultaneously with no issue, but even when I shut all other programs down, Captivate is slow.  I am having the following, and I am stumped as things work on some slides but not others. I'm seeing the following: Audio does not pause on some slides but is fine on others.Continue button set interactions (interactions set the same on other slides, and they work fine), but the interactions do not work on others.I have flip cards on a slide, and when I try to change the font, Captivate crashes every time.  I have tried deleting and adding again, and still have the same issue.The title text block will center on some slides when published, but others, it stays left-justified. If I increase the font size to 48pt, it centers, but as soon as I reduce it to 36pt,

When I try to change the video source, I must click the placeholder, and it simply plays the video in Captivate.  No option to change video source.  Anyone else?  

Suddenly, today, three of my colleagues around the US with Presenter 7 licenses can no longer save PowerPoint files or work with Presenter.  All of us successfully created courses last week.We all get the "unexpected error" message telling us to "Try saving your work to a new file and restarting PowerPoint.  If the problem persists, consult the Help menu item..."  We get the message even if all we do is type one word on a slide and try to save the file.We cannot open the Presenter Help menu... the same error message pops up.So now we cannot save a PowerPoint file.  We cannot save a Presenter file.  We cannot record or import audio in Presenter.  No matter what we click on the Presenter toolbar, we get the same error message.  Nothing is working.Help!

Is there a way to add a dynamic progress bar in all new adobe captivate?I have used the progress indicator startegy using the current slide variable but i'm more interested to have a a visual indicator similar to the one we see in the websites and html pages at the top of the page.

In all new adobe captivate, I want to use a custom thumbnail image for a video in the Video grid (Add media blocks > Video) not the event video.However, the tool doesn't seem to have the feature. Is there a workaround for timebeing?

Hello! I need to create a virtual 360 media walkthrough with hotspots for pop-ups, including images, text, or videos, for a school project. The problem is that it needs to play on iPads without the use of internet. People will not have VR headsets, so the viewing will just be on iPads. How does that work? Would users need to download a folder to their iPads? Would it be possible to have a shortcut icon to play it? Thank you so much for your help!!!

So... NEEDSI need to create more 3,000 questions to the pools into Excel and export them, import them into Captivate.I would like to automate the creation of question slides, more than just the actual export from Captivate Excel spreadsheet and importing them into Quiz.I want to really automate these process, including the creating of feedback text as 'shared action’ and insert the ‘interaction id’.Any automation method or a tool to make this really happen.LIMITATIONSCaptivate Classic version is 11.8.3.8 in English.MS-Windows 10 and Office 365.

I'm struggling with some limitations and lack of enough knowledge into Captivate, so...NEEDSI should keep just one Project of Captivate with the 5,000 questions distributed into 15 pools.Each Quiz is loading different quantities of questions from different pools.The user can at the beginning choose the Quiz want to do – different paths (ways) inside of the project.In the end of Quiz, in the slide of Results, the ‘max-score’ can not be the total of Quiz slides, the same to ‘total-questions’. These variables have to show the quantity of the specific Quiz the user has choose at the beginning.LIMITATIONSCaptivate Classic version is 11.8.3.8 in English.I have a server limitation to do the backup with 250,000 files, no more.And I need to design a solution easy to be kept in the future by myself.I’m using xAPI with LRS (GrassBlade). 

I think I should consider whether to request my employer to upgrade me to the new Captivate.  I have found info on the new Captivate, but what I haven't seen is if the Captivate 2019/Classic files are compatible with the new Captivate.Does anyone know please?And if they are, I guess there will be a conversion process.  What doest that entail?

I'm seeing that this isn't available with Captivate Classic anymore, was there a replacement? Or a way to download the old program? I can't get my IT guys to approve an LMS Server, but the internal reporting was OK. But now I  need a way to view the results of the quizzes. Is there an alternative?

Hi all, I have a video on a slide that is shorter than the slide audio.  All play fine, but the video disappears before the end of the audio (video is 7.5 seconds and audio is 12 seconds).  Is there a way to have the video stay onscreen and not disappear? Thanks,Janice

It just crashed and I see "An unexpected error has occurred, whech may cause Captviate to behave unexpectedly.  You can restart Captivate with a backed-up project.. Get ready for more posts from me. I've been suffering through working in Captivate now for weeks.  Now I plan to docuent everything.  

On multiple machines, when I hit Command V it pastes it 2x, and I have to delete or undo the 2nd one.  

Hello Community! Hopefully someone can help me out with this issue. I've created a slide deck and have random questions and my question pool is filled out. The real problem here, is that the user clicks START Quiz, it goes to the next slide, and it starts off with Question 2 instead of Question 1. Anyone else seen anything like this? Or could possibly help me fix?

I just started using an LMS and when we publish our modules as scorm sometimes our demos play and sometimes they do not. When they don't they are just a white screen. All the settings for the demos are the same and the publishing options are the same too. 

I am new to Adobe Captivate, so I need some guidance on how to create a short learning course. I have the powerpoint and design ideas ready to go.  I'm just not sure how to implement these on Adobe captive. Is there anyone I can hire as a freelancer for this project? 

Hi All,   I am relatively new to Captivate and am working on a project, but I have a few issues.  I hope someone can share some insights into where I have gone wrong or what I have missed. I have included images below. There are a few issues I am having:I have added a quote that appears centered in Captivate, but when I preview it, it is off-center. I have tried the other quote defaults, and none appear to center the quote. I have added a button bar, but it is left-justified, and I don't know how to space it evenly across the button bar.I have set up custom interactions on the media image block below the button bar so that each button opens a different image, title, and text. I have the interactions set with no problem, but I can't figure out how to hide or remove the default image title and text so that when users go to the slide, there is a blank area below the buttons.When I click on each button for the set interactions, the image, title, and text appear one afte

How can I create a smooth transition between slides in Adobe Captivate without losing interactivity? I’m aiming for a seamless user experience, but some of the transitions feel clunky.

I have a licensed version 2019 of Captivate. How do I discontinue and transfer the access to another company user?

Hello everyone, after working without bigger troubles for a long time, a new error occured. I am not able to create "Slide Video" or "Video" Media Blocks anymore. Everytime I click the symbol, it will crash.Copying "Slide Video" or "Video" Media Blocks from other Projects works, until the moment I try to change the source, then it also crashes. Of course this is a huge issue, as the content I am creating is often based on videos.All other Media Blocks are working without any issue. I reinstalled everything and also tried to clean preferences, as it was the solution for the last error, but it didn't help so far. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.BR,Claudio

I've been on with Captivate support for months now back and forth.  They always work hard and are very professional.  I'm on the latest version of Mac OS.  Captivatae is still so slow after tons of troubleshooting. It's basically unusable. I've been a Captivate user for over 10 years.  This needs to be fixed. 

Are all projects responsive or something I need to change? One of my projects looks good while viewing the review file on my Computer, but others say they are having to scroll from side to side. Thanks!
