I have a survey question that can be answered yes or no, but the question shows up as incorrect in the reporting and it also doesn't let the users complete the module as it thinks they've answered that question incorrectly.

We upgraded to Adobe Connect 8 a few months ago. Some of our instructors had uploaded content in the previous version of Adobe Connect, but when we try to access the files now, they do not load into the share pod. We can see them in the content library, but the share pod does nothing when we click on the file. Other old files such as pdf or jpg files do load. If we upload new versions of the file, it works too.'If we click on the link to the URL within the contect library, the files open too, just not in the share pod. Do the instructors need to upload all of their PPT files into the content library all over again?

Hello,I want to use the Connect Addin for linux in ubuntu 11.10. But the window just show the message "Loading Adobe Connect". I've tried multiple help on the forum (clean the cache of my navigator, global settings as always, etc...) but nothing work. How can I track when a participant participated in a poll during a meeting?We have classes in the meeting rooms and I need to know if someone participated at a specific time to know in which class participant participated.

Do I have to repeat here?  This is hardly intuitive. does anyone see any way of changing the font size that I can't see on Connect?

There is no executable file when saving or opening from the download option, so how do I install it?The files are below, withthe folders only holding XML and imagesThanks in the hope of a reply that causes me to go doh!

I have seen a few other forum posts on the issue but none has helped thus far.My setup is a Sony DSR250 near broadcast quality DVCAM that gets sound from a Shure Mixer connected to Lavalier Microphones.   From the Camera I go fire out to the laptop (a IBM/Lenovo T1500) and currently I have to use a 3'5 male jack plugged into the laptop microphone input to get sound.I am trying to get the audio to stream in from the camera firewire connection.  I have downloaded DVDrive and I got the video stream to come through but still no audio.  I went to the sound setup and it only detected the on-board microphone and the microphone jack when I believe there should be a DVDrive or DVcam input.Does any have suggestions for getting the audio and video to come through the same stream via firewire.  And in case some one raises the issue I am positive the camera is getting sound from the mixer since I can see the audio levels on the camera.

What might be the reason if a presentation can`t be seen (there is only a grey share pod). Audio is o.K.. All other pods are visuable and can be used. Some basics: Operating system: windows XP, Firefox version: 12.0, Flash player: 11.2.202.0235, Adobe Acrobat: 9.5.1.283 -> all versions are supported. There have never been problems before like this. This problem is not caused by Firefox configuration of popup blocker or plugins/add ons.I hope somebody has an idea.

Hello Guys,I have a requirement in an elearning project where I need to record the users audio and place it on some server so that user can hear it again in future when required. Basically user shall be asked with questions for which he has to answer on mic and that should be recorded and saved on server for future references...So is this by any chance possible with Adobe Connect ? I am using C# and our Connect Pro server is hosted by Adobe. I am having issues when I login with a POST httpWebRequest. I form the POST web request and send it off with Action=Common-Info. I get a valid response and pull the session ID and account-id out of the XML. I then pass the login, password and session ID to the Action=Login. I get a response of OK but when I try my next request that requires login I get a response that says "no-access", "no-login". I verified that I sent the same sessionID each time. I even tried to send the group ID but got the same response. Also, when I resent the Common-info call including the session ID, I got the same response... a response without the "user" node as I would get in the browser. I am looking for best practice for video conversions.I am downloading adobe recordings via this method:http://server.adobeconnect.com/xyz/output/filename.zip?download=zipFrom here, I have been converting the FLVs using either freemake video converter or FLV converter. I have tried converting into AVI (XVID), MOV, WMV, etc. (I need the file to be under 600 MB for an hour of recording, therefore it is going to need some type of compression). My goal is to import the video into Sony Vegas Pro 10 for further editting. I have found that whatever method I use, the video and audio does not sync properly about 50% of the time. The video time is longer than the audio time usually. Or that there are other various errors, such as the video just freezing halfway through the video. I have been using connect for a few years now, but with each update I find (connect 8, 9, etc), that the problems are getting worse. I have the opportunity to request a PC or Mac laptop specifically to host Connect sessions but need some advice. What should I ask for? Is there an ultimate set-up that can best handle any contingency for hosting a Connect session? Which browser works best? Which one should I avoid? Are certain support apps or plug-ins more valuable than others? How much processor speed is enough and when is it just overkill? Is more RAM always better?If you could design a dedicated Connect PC or Mac, what would YOU ask for?

I have applied to be in an eseminar tomorrow at 2PM BST.I recieved an email saying i was registered, and it had my personal details on it, but when i tried to log in, i couldn't get in (my adobe ID an pass apparently don't count)I don't know how i will attend tomorrow...

I tried to view recording at http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/talking-to-3d-and-flash-with-acrobat-javascript . The sound is very choppy. I tried at home and at work....same result. Is there a way to improve this??Thanks,Tom_R

The contents of my whiteboard disappear. Usually this just happens on one page and the other pages are fine. Sometimes other members of the room can see the contents of the whiteboard, other times they can't. Sometimes I have been able to get it back if one of the participants who has been able to see it has clicked on the text. Other times this has not worked.Does anyone know why this happens and if there is any way to resolve it?Thanks,Catherine

We have a hosted account for Adobe Connect. When users want to enter a room, they go to a URL like this:http://connectpro12345678.na5.acrobat.com/rereview/?launcher=false&guestName=John%20SmithThis drops them into the meeting room, but the name is listed under Participants asJohn%20Smithrather than the desired John Smith.I've determined that the URL-encoded name is coming from the session, because when I deleted the BREEZESESSION cookie and hit the meeting room directly, using a URL like:https://connectpro12345678.adobeconnect.com/_a963369417/rereview/?launcher=false&guestName=Michael%20Van%20Kleeckthe guest name is displayed appropriately.How can I force Connect to either decode the guestname or to use the guestname from the parameter, rather than the session?Thanks!-Michael

Would like to be able to edit more specific segments of recording...how do I do that?

I am trying out Connect for the first time. I want client participants to watch me work on their video project, but need to set up so that they can hear audio from the video they are watching on my screen - as well as hear me. I can do this in GoToMeeting with a loop cable from the mic to speaker inputs on my editing  computer, but I must also be on a phone so they can hear me. Or, I can connect from a separate computer with a microphone.How would I go about this using Connect?BTW, I have Creative Cloud CS6 on Windows 7. 

When I record a meeting can I get  the video as an archive? or it can just be the url?

How do you share your screen in CS6?

Is it possible for a host to use an English browser/interface and participants to use another language (e.g. Japanese). My OS and browser is English but my participants have Japanese OS and browsers.In addition, how about meeting rooms - is it possible for the host to see everything (menus, controls, etc) in English and the participants (in the same room) to see everything (menus, controls, etc) in another language???

I am trying to save some meeting recordings to my local machine. I have been able to successfully save two recordings in this way, but now cannot seem to get any to work. When I click "Make offline" from the meeting recording list, the Adobe Connect window opens normally. I am given a file browser popup asking where to save the video file to, I select the location I want it to save and hit "Save" but nothing happens. The file browser closes as it should, but the Adobe Connect window is just a flat dark grey screen. I am not given a playback window, the meeting display does not appear, etc. I have tried clearing out my cache and the like, but nothing seemed to help. I have searched around on Google and these forums for a similar occurance but did not find anything that matched what is happening. Help is appreciated.Joseph

Adobe Connect will not run on my XP Pro workstation. Flash (11.1.102.63) has been installed several times, with and without AVG. We get the Flash Successful Installation Screen, try to launch Connect again, and always bounce right into the same message: Adobe Connect requires Flash Player 10.1 or above.Its like the system is not recognizing the Flash install. How do we get beyond this? Thanks for your help!

You mean to tell me that we cannot store Excel or Word documents in our teaching. It's not showing as an acceptable file type; yet Power Point files are?
