Does adobe connect require any installation of any client or software or add on in user machine?Should flash be installed in the machine?

Hello everyoneI am asking is anyone is hiring for a role that involved the production and training of Adobe Connect sessions. I have been delivering induction sessions for a large company using Connect. I Design the classrooms with the client and regularly walk though the session with them prior to delivery. Is Storyline compatible with Adobe Connect?  Are there any issues I need to be aware of?  We will have content and quizzes, both need to be tracked.

We use Adobe Connect 9. Recently we started getting a warning on login "Threshold Exceeded for Concurrent Training Users".We also get an error when trying to start a training module "Account Limit Reached Your concurrent training user quota has been reached".Our limit is 40 and we do not believe that many people are using it at this time.How is it determining this limit is reached.

I am hosting a 1 on 1 interview that involves screen sharing and photos and I am calling the respondent from my work phone (ring central) how do I sync the screen and audio recording?

HiWe recently upgraded our servers from Adobe Connect 9.2.1 version to 9.4.2. We have our servers configured to automatically use the ports 1935, 443 and 80 with the RTMP and RTMPT protocols for the meetings. We follow the instructions from this webpage http://blogs.adobe.com/connectsupport/connect-on-premise-server-configure-additional-ports-for-rtmp-traffic/ and worked fine in our case. But after the upgrade to the version 9.4.2 the server do not change the port for the meeting room. We check the configuration and everything seems ok. RegardsJorge

Hello,As with others on this forum, my company and I have had our fair share of hiccups with Adobe Connect. I have tried to alieviate some of these by creating a checklist of tasks to preform before starting a meeting or webinar. I am posting this here to see if any of you have more ideas/suggestions/critiques for the list. Currently we have Adobe Connect 8.2 that is installed on Windows server 2003 and SQL server 2005. We are in the process of upgrading the Windows 2003 server to 2012 and the SQL server from 2005 to 2012 or 2014. Is adobe connect 8.2 supported on these servers ?

The Connect YouTube search and playback .SWF widget is no longer working for Connect version 9.3 and 9.4.  Is there an updated version from the player for Connect 8?

If I navigate to one of my courses, then go to the reports tab, the "Summary" shows as blank. The course has many enrollees, around 87,000. See image below..

The slides were loaded yesterday, but I noticed a typo in the PowerPoint file name listed at the top. I fixed the typo and when I try to share a document (aka the PP slides), it says there is an error when converting the file. They were loaded yesterday what could be wrong? It's the same file. We have a webinar in 2 hours for 900 people please help!!!

When I present from a Mac any share my browser, any drop down list I show, is NOT seen by the participants, it's just replaced by a pixelated box of the same size. When I present from a PC this is not an issue. What is the cause/fix to this? Thx.

Is there any way to create a layout that will look exactly the same on any size computer screen? I find it frustrating when I create a precise layout only to see it jumbled on a smaller or larger screen. There must be some way to "lock down" the proportions and/or positions of the pods so that they remain as I design them, but how? Is there no way to accomplish this? No trick to overlapping pods or anything?

The Adobe Connect feature that I have for "Meeting" is the "Named Host Pricing Model", meaning that I have a hosted Adobe Connect account. Is there an action in Adobe Connect 9 Web Services that tracks the attendance of individual users, i.e., what times each user started seeing the recording and stopped seeing the recording? The action that retrieves data that is the closest to the data retrieved by the action that I am seeking after is "report-sco-views". However, this action only shows the number of views of a specific recording and the date that the recording was last viewed. I understand that you can move the recording from its meeting in the "User Meetings" folder tree to the "User Content" folder tree to view the reports of the recording ("Summary", "By Users", "By Slides", "By Questions" and "By Answers"). The "By Users" report has sufficient data of the attendance of individual users. (I wonder why you have to move the recording to the "User Content" folder tree to be able to

IPS is verison Fios with sufficient upload and download speed, passed the webcast test have all add ons. connection is fine untill the meeting start connectivity flactuates and causes latency and time outs.Verizon checked from there side everything is ok , refered me back to Adobe . what can i do ?

I am still getting this message after our account has been updated."Your account has expired and will be turned off soon. In order to continue using it, please renew today by contacting your Adobe Connect sales rep". I am not getting any results after contacting our sales rep. We can still use our account, however i don't know how long until we are locked out ofour account and can't use it.

Hello Everybody,I want to buy a video mixer to use with Adobe Connect.Poorly Adobe only supports 480p. For most video mixers this is no problem.But the closest output of the mixer I want supports 480/59.94i and I don´t know if Adobe will support that. This is 60fps and I tough that Adobe only supports 30fps.Does anyone know a solution?I also need a video capture device. Maybe a video capture device that can handle 480p@60fps input and give 480p@30fps to Adobe.The video mixer I want to use is a Roland V-4EX.If any of you have any experience with video mixers and Adobe connect please share.Thanks,Dane 

Hi:We're planning on holding an International Balinese Language Poetry Slam as a model of multi-culturalism and a celebration of linguistic diversity in honor of Saraswati Day, the Balinese celebration of Knowledge.    We need some help on the tech end of streaming with multiple countries.  Our hope is to bring in Balinese poetry reading in addition to dance and music from 6-7 locations around the world.The program is designed to grow out of the modern Balinese experience and in turn, contribute to it by having the poems from Balinese speakers around the world feed into a new online multimedia wiki dictionary.  Our hope is that it will inspire individuals, communities, and governments to act now to enrich their linguist resources and to celebrate the riches that those resources provide. All PDF files uploaded to our Adobe Connect Content libraries (hosted) are displaying a window with the message "This file requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to support tracking functionality".  I have 2 hosted accounts and both have this issue (which started today). We were upgraded to version 9.1 over the weekend also. Is anyone else seeing this and do you know of a resolution?

I've got a piece of old Flash content that works fine when I drag it into a pod, but every student is running their own instance of the swf. I'd like to be able to synch some of the actions so that the changes on one student's screen shows on everyone else's. Which my developer tells me needs the 'Collaboration Builder SDK'. Two things, though. The current version of the SDK is written for Flex, and not Flash, and my developer only works in Flash. Also, the code in the swf is Actionscript 2, which is what (I'm told) the Collaboration Builder SDK version 7 is written for. So, are you able to supply a link (Adobe support) / share a copy (forums) (the SDK is free) of Collaboration Builder SDK version 7 so I can enhance the swf I currently use, without having to have the whole thing rewritten from the ground up? I realise that this is 2 gens 'old' and won't be supported now, so if what I'm trying to do doesn't work, I won't be moaning about it! Many thanks, David

Adobe Connect is stuck connecting on the connecting screen shown in the following picture. I am running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.3 and have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox with no success. I've cleared my cookies as well.
