I copied a bunch of images into Lightroom and placed the folders into the "Creative Cloud Files" directory."Mac HD/Users/username/Creative Cloud Files"After realizing that my storage was almost full I decided not to keep the images there however the storage remains.I also can't seem to export using the cloud option, I thought putting the files back would fix and the storage grew some more.
Hello,My Adobe Creative Cloud is continuously syncing files non stop. I have left the computer on for so long and I have a good internet connection and still the syncing keeps mentioning that few seconds are left to finish syncing then it starts all over again. I have checked the files in my CC libraries from within the apps, no files seem to be syncing.I have checked my online files, all files seem to be perfectly synced. However in my market downloads folder on my mac there is an unknown file that keeps syncing. its name is "b86ac7621064e30ec2df41e684dd4bd7._gstmp"Please how can I resolve this issue?
Hi,I am new to Adobe Creative Cloud, but have been using LR (classic) and PS a lot in the past.I would like to understand the options around the cloud file storage.I can access my files here: https://assets.adobe.com/filesHowever I don't see these files when I open Lightroom CC.In turn if I upload files through Lightroom CC I also cannot see them in Files.Should that not be the same account?Do they both add independently to my storage quota or do I have to quotes here? What I am basically trying to achieve is upload folders of files through the browser or my Finder on Mac (which is linked to Adobe CC Files)and process those files later either through Adobe CC or the mobile client? Are there any best practices or recommendations?Hope my points are formulated clear enough 🙂Many thanks in advance!
I am unable to upload anything but .jpg files to the Creative Cloud. Not using the file sync functionality, but using the web upload with the Actions>Upload workflow. It allows me to select .tif, .psb, and .zip files and it appears to be loading them but then suddenly quits and no files are uploaded. Are there file types that are not supported? You would think .tif and especially .psb files would be. Please advise.Thanks.Bob
Hello,I work on illustrations on my ipad, procreate and save my files to CC in "files" latest iOS 11.4.1 When choosing to save to files / Creative cloud, I noticed that some folders appear double on my ipad, also when viewing them on CC app, but on my macbook they appear correctly. This is quite confusing and I wonder if it is a known issue and if there is something I can do differently when deleting folders and files to avoid this in the futrure? Thanks in advance!Best regards,c
Hi guys,I have added some Blender .stl files to adobe creative cloud files that were created using a Windows 10 desktop pc.We also have an iMac here at home, and for some reason, none of the Creative Cloud files added using the Windows machine are visible in Adobe Creative Cloud files on the iMac.What is the problem exactly? (BTW it has nothing to do with compatibility between systems, because if i instead save the same files to Google Drive, and then open them in for example Blender on the iMac, it works perfectly. This is specifically a Creative Cloud problem).
After noticing that not all of my files were up-to-date on my Macbook, I logged in here to check for solutions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled CC desktop app several timesI have deleted .db files from CoreSyncI have repaired the CC appI have removed 2/3 of the assets being stored in the cloud (at a major loss because I apparently permanently deleted the folder on CC before it had finished copying to my hard drive and I've been told that it's irretrievable!) in case it was a file limit issue. I have disabled all other cloud storage (Google Drive) from this deviceThe most common screen I am seeing is this:Even though this box is already checked...When I uncheck and recheck the box, I get this screen:And when I click "learn more" I get this:All of my files seem to be correct from Desktop to Cloud, but Macbook has 5.53 gb in the CCFiles folder, while (as you can see above) the cloud is actually storing 24.69gb.Throughout my attempts at fixing this, the computer has spent ho
I having a same problem issue. Now on my desktop still have one folder I cant delete but I checked this folder on creative cloud web browser it not appear. So i can not get folder id from browser URL.Please advise
I can't use Collaborate or View on Website options in Finder on Mac. Tried logging out and back in a again, even a restart of Mac, still no luck. Can do it via the CC Website. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi,I today deleted a few files from CC and removed a load of images from Sync'd collections in Lightroom CC.I have a CC Photography account 20Gbyte. After the tidy up Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic CC report I am using 34Mbytes of 20GBytes. However the CC app and website report I am using 5.2GByte of 20GByte. Via the website I have checked 'deleted folders' in CC and other Adobe apps. that share the space. I have deleted all projects in mobile apps. But all CC access say I am still using 5.2 GBytes. Where else can I look, I can't even recall uploading that amount of data.Something is wrong with the CC file storage. Please help. Many others have been reporting the same issues for years. What is going on. I have tried all ideas posted in other threads that I have found to no avail. Thanks
I'm having problems reliably uploading to my cc assets page, via Chrome and Safari. I need to use browsers when working away from my computer to share files with myself and others, as a backup to a hard drive.Smaller jpegs seem ok, but psd, zip fail after a few minutes. The progress bar appears, but when I check back, after a few minutes, it's gone, but no file has uploaded. It's more reliable when loading files one by one, but this isn't a great workflow.Files are typically 60-500mb.Both browsers fail, either drag and drop, or via the 'Upload' buttonThis happens at 2 different locations, one ethernet connection, one wireless.Uploading to ie Google drive, or Apple iCloud, both work flawlessly.
A small number of files I have sent to CC syncing service fail to sync. I have checked all the troubleshooting tips (no special characters in file name, etc.) and none of them apply. The files are .ai files and are big but not super huge: ~ 380 MB ea.The file names of the ones that won't sync are 006.ai, 007.ai, and 009.ai. However, other files in the series (made the same way, at the same time, and are about the same size) called 001.ai, 002, 003, 004, etc. all sync fine.I have tried renaming the failing files before resaving (e.g. 009x.ai ) and they still fail. I have tried opening the original file on my desktop and doing 'save a copy' directly to CC. Still fails. The consistent error message is "Some files failed to sync". The tantalizing "learn more" link just leads to the disappointingly uninformative message,"unable to sync 007.ai".I have been trying for days - at first thinking maybe a spotty internet connection was the problem. But it fails whether syncing from home or wo
If I share a 50MB Library of assets with coworkers through Libraries, does it take up 50MB of of space towards their cloud storage total? Or just the 50MB of space on mine?
I'm looking to make a mirror of my machines file and folder structure in Files on my CC account but it doesn't seem to work at all. To me it looks like I'm forced to manually establish every single folder and add single files into those folders. There's now way to just copy what I have with folders and files and paste that structure in my CC folder. Example: I've made a folder on the CC Files section named XD and I want to copy all my folders and files into that folder. Why can't I do that? Also, there's no way of adding folders to my Prototype and Specs section, I'm only allowed to add single files? Makes it very hard to work out an order or structure when I have 200 single files! So what's going on? Am I doing something wrong?
Hi,Every single file I add to my CC Files section gets zipped! Makes it extremely tedious to open every single file in a zip program and go trough de-zipping process for single files. I have hundreds of XD files and if I want to open them at another location I have to de-zip every single one at the time?! That's eye popping. What's the purpose of using a cloud service then? I might as well bring an external drive with me, oldskool way- How long is this supposed to go on? Please tell me there's been an misunderstanding.
I have lot's of svg files that I shared on Files, when both my collaborator and me view these files in CC they change names randomly. Seems to me that this is a labeling bug cause I as the owner have not changed any filenames and the changes happens whenever the page gets refreshed. So, if a file is named red_star it can suddenly take the name of another file in the folder named airport_icon. The same file can switch name to something else that is not correct. When I open the file it is indeed the red_star file but the name as mentioned gets randomly changed to some other filename in same folder. Both me and my collaborator is on W10. Tried to access the shared folder on Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Vivaldi with the same result. All is up to date on software. No CC updates available. Also, the preview feature is not stable. Sometimes I get a visual preview of the svg, but the next time I load the page I see only a white box although the content itself is not white but black. This whole thi
As far as I can see there are two collaborator modes: Can view and Can edit. I decide this when I share a file or folder on CC - but how do I change collaborator status? After looking for ages for a plausible action button, link or obvious section where I can administrate my shares I tried the not so obvious and quite quirky routine of going back to where I ADDED the collaborator altough I'm not trying to add anyone. So I went: Share - Invite to folder. Then I came to a window where the name of the collaborator was and the status is Can view. I don't believe this is actually the intended navigation pattern? Cause it is very bad UX! Anyhow, when I finally got there and switched the status from Can view to Can edit the button named Save underneath is greyed out. Can't save the change in other words. So what's up with this? And I also wonder what the difference between Can view and Can edit is? Does this mean a person with view status only are not allowed to download? There's a substantia
I recently got two notifications from Adobe telling me that Parcel_Public_Sharing "opened and viewed" my profile. Does anyone know what this means? I want to make sure that my documents are safe and that a third party does not have access to them.
I am trying to access my CC Library and it will not sync. When I mouse over the icon, it displays, "unable to connect to server." I tried logging out of CC and logging back in, but it is not working. I am trying to access a saved swatch library on Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. Anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks!
We have 4 stations connected to the cloud (full to 50%) and a very fast Internet connection (1Gb).And yet, the synchronization of files between computers always satisfied enormously of time.It is difficult to work properly under these conditions. (Not to mention conflicting files that are created without reason)Is it the same with you?Best regards
When you do a security scan for vulnerabilities I get a warning of HIGH threat that there is a way a hacker can do a series of attacks including Denial of Service attack and it has to do with the Node.js version being outdated. The Cloud Application needs the latest version of Node.js which is 10.7.0 not the outdated one from the download 6.9.2.0. I don't want to be hacked AGAIN so how do I update this without ruining the program? It's part of a library? I was recently hacked and the person got into my Facebook and did LOTS of damage. I have reformatted my computer but now I have this issue. This is the information the security has:Multiple serious vulnerabilities have been found in Node.js. Malicious users can exploit these vulnerabilities to cause denial of service. Below is a complete list of vulnerabilities: An unspecified vulnerability in the HTTP parser can be exploited remotely via Content-Length parameter to perform unspecified attacks;A regular expression vulnerability in the
When using Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC, I always save my files onto the "Creative Cloud Files" folder located on my work desktop so that I can access all of my work from my iPhone or on my laptop at home. The issue I'm having just began in the last week, where it says I cannot save files when I'm saving to the Creative Cloud Files folder; because... "file is already in use," "you don't have permission to modify files in this network location" or "could not write the file. an assertion has failed."Below are the error messages I receive when attempting to save files using "Save" , "Save as..." or "Export-->Save for Web (Legacy)."- I don't have these files open anywhere else.- No permissions have changed in this network location to cause this problem (to mine or my IT Director's knowledge).I have done these things to troubleshoot so far...1. I've updated Illustrator, and Photoshop then restarted my computer2. I've uninstalled then reinstalled Illustrator and Photoshop3.
All my apps say I don't have Creative Cloud Installed, but it is (CC 2018) so I can't access LibrariesI have tried uninstalling and re-installing, still shows that I have no CC app.
Hi,A file I share with my colleague via a private network doesn't open anymore after I opened it while my colleague was still working on it. The message error says the file is damaged and can't be retrieved (error code nr 5).I have installed the BlindOpen script which I found here Re: InDesign 6 is crashing when attempting to open a particular document. All others are opening OK. but I get a javascript error message confirming the file is damaged and can't be retrieved. Is there anything else I can do to fix the problem ? It's a 23mb file of 200 pages which I use and update on a regurlar basis. Losing it would mean to start everything from scratch...Best regards,Dean
Every day I get the same message on my iMac saying that Creative Cloud is unable to sync one particular pdf file that I had deleted already. To try to solve the issue, I deleted the pdf file from my Creative Cloud file and also deleted the associated indd file.Subsequently, I permanently deleted the files from my Creative Cloud web folder. Then I deleted the pdf and associated indd files from my iMac.Further, I uninstalled Creative Cloud desktop app, then reinstalled it. When that didn't work, I uninstalled and reinstalled again.Yet according to the desktop Creative Cloud app, this one ostensibly non-existent pdf file is still "unable to sync due to server error" and I still get the red warning icon on the desktop app and its associated error message. This only happened on my iMac (OS X, version 10.11.6) but not on my MacBook Pro (same OS and version); all assets on my MacBook sync without a problem.I checked the forums and no other discussions seemed related to my particular issue.
