InDesign CC 2017. Affects all 100+ users in our company. Any time they try to place an item from within a library they get the error Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another application. If I resync the libraries using the steps outlined in here Solution to the issue: Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries panel doesn't load in desktop products The libraries work UNTIL they close InDesign and open it back up. It doesn't seem to be an issue if we login as the local admin account. Our systems are in a virtual environment and the users home directories and profiles are stored on a network share using vmware persona.Hoping someone has any ideas on where to go from here.
I purchased Photoshop CC on a monthly subscription, Creative Cloud included, and have been saving my files to the Creative Cloud folder ever since.I decided today to start using the mobile app as well, and noticed that there were no files listed in my CC mobile. While troubleshooting that, I discovered that I was not actually signed into my CC account on the computer. I signed into my account, thinking there must have been a syncing issue. Once I signed into my account, all the files disappeared from my CC folder.I have searched through my computer, scoured the other folders and the recycling bin, signed back out, restarted, etc etc, and nothing can retrieve the files. Several of my files show up in the "recent" folder on my computer, but when I try to open them, I'm greeted with an error message that the file path has been removed/no longer exists.I have been chatting with Adobe help all morning and their base-level agents have assured me that there is no way that I was saving files t
Hi,My Creative Cloud DESKTOP FIles folder is not working properly since last week. I already wasted nearly 3 hours with Tech support. Sharing my screen and trying various things. I think the Tech guy was incompetent. He didn't understand the issue And Just kept trying the same things over and over again for 3 hours. MY FILES SYNC PROPERLY. THERES NO ISSUE WITH SYNCING. If i Drag files into the Creative Cloud desktop folder. THey Sync up properly into the cloud. I can access them online no issues. THe issue I'm having has to do with the Actual FOlder. It does not Seem to be installed/ working properly. Here's an image from The The Adobe help site. (Creative Cloud Help | Collaborate on folders and libraries)1. Notice How At the bottom left of each file / folder inside the Creative cloud files folder theres a GREEN CHECK ( this changes depending on the file Status). 2. ALso Notice when the file is Right Clicked&
HiEver since I updated to CC from CS6 back in November, CC File Sync has never worked.I get a "Error occurred during cloud switching" error sometimes, and when I go to the "Creative Cloud | Files" section of CC Desktop app, I get the Unable to Load Sync location error.I have removed and reinstalled CC desktop app but the problem persists. I have also deleted files in the CoreSync folder as indicated in other threads but this has not resolved the issue either. Also, when I try to open the Creative Cloud files shortcut in Windows Explorer, I am asked what app I want to use to open the file, as you would get with an unassociated file extension.I'm on Win 7x64 Pro.Does anyone know how this can be resolved please? Many thanks!Richard

How do I delete things from CC? I'm not talking about to put things in archive but to permanently delete it. I only get these options, where's the Delete option?
File sync reports unable to sync several files about every 15 to 30 seconds. Part of the the relevant error data from the log file for one of the files reads as follows.<error path="/00_Essential_Guide_to/EG_GUM/R726506MSEssentialGuideCh26/ThinkstockPhotos-875866426.psd" description="Error copying file: http:NotFound (404) . . . type="server_err" code="none" isfilelocal="false"Not sure how to stop this annoying messages short of turning of sync.
Hello,I'm working on an image in Photoshop (mac app). I save the image in a folder synchronized with Creative Cloud. When I open the CC app on an iPad, the image I see it is not updated, it is a previous version, not the last one I saved. But file date shown by CC app is correct, updated. Do you know what could be the cause of that? Is there any way to force to show the updated image in the CC app? Thanks and best regards.
Hi,My OS warns me every half and hour that "CoreSync stopped working". Typography synchro and such doesn't work anymore. I tried cleaning the .db files in the AppData folder and also reinstalling the app, but the problem persists. It started out of the bloom 2 weeks ago, i don't recall changing anything. Hi, everyone, my name is Tudor and I have the following issue: as i can see all my libraries in the web version of cc files they won't show up in the app folder in my computer. Is there a way to prevent my cloud photos going to Lightroom cc? I have thousands of pics on my cloud and don’t want to clog my lightroomcc up with them. I only want photos I choose to edit uploading to cc. Thanks
Unable to sync images. Must enter password every time I want to sync images to i-pad. Why?
Using web interface, I started uploading some psd files. Process goes well, but at appr. 80-90% it suddenly goes to 100%, returns "upload complete" and files doesn't appear in "My assets" or in other sections. What can I do? Maybe it's some kind of a problem of exactly my files? But I get no errors, how to know what can be a problem?
So, Photoshop CC 2018 threw an error upon launch about an extension that appeared to be unsigned. This was new as I'd been using the extension for some time. However, I deleted the extension and, not long after, I noticed my files and fonts weren't showing in CC. All I got was a spinning circle. I also noticed that Under Creative Cloud Files Sync On/Off, the checkbox for Creative Cloud Sync was grayed out.Long story shorter, I completely removed the entire suite using the CC Cleaner Tool from Adobe. I further went through and deleted every Adobe folder I could find, hidden and otherwise. I reinstalled creative Cloud and before I started installing the CC Apps, looked at preferences. The Creative Cloud Sync checkbox is still grayed out, as is the folder location. Does anyone know how to get this fixed?
I have a number of Adobe Draw files saved on Creative Cloud. When I want to download them I can choose between downloading as either a .pdf or a .ase file.Regardless of which option I choose, both will download a .ase file. How do I get the file to download as a .pdf? Thanks all

As a freelancer, I've not had time to study how best to use Creative Cloud libraries efficiently across related projects for the same client. It would be helpful if Adobe had a tutorial on how to manage digital assets using Creative Cloud (do they?). Is Adobe Bridge still the preferred tool for content management?I understand the concept of the CC Library and how to add assets to it (images, color themes, etc.). What I'm seeking is advice on how to do it in an organized manner. Currently, I find myself searching among the libraries of related projects to "find that one image" that I want to repurpose. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
We created a CC library for our team, but we are unable to use it in InDesign 2017. The items are a mix between mostly graphics (lines, circles, etc.) and text. There are no Object Styles applied to the graphics, but there are Paragraph Styles applied to the text—every designer has the same styles loaded into their files. When we place an item from the Library, we get the error message "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by another application." The items do not contain links, I am the owner of the library, and we do not have the library open on the website or other programs. We have tried previous fixes mentioned in the forums:- Opening in Illustrator and renaming (did not work for us)- Renaming a Library item (this worked)- Moving the item to a different library and then back (this worked)Renaming/moving items every time we need to use them is a HUGE waste of time. Is there a fix to make the items work all the
Hello there,I'm running Creative Cloud with Photoshop and XD and can't seem to be able to sync files to the cloud directly from explorer.File sharing works fine on broswer though. Funny this is until last year syncing used to work just fine on my computer.I'm running the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop on a Windows 10, 6GB RAM and over 400GB of free storage.I've tried moving the folder and uninstalling the app a couple times byt now but have had no success.A colleague talked to Adobe and was told some ports should be opened in order for sync to work. We passed the issue to our IT support and found out they'd already been open!!Can you guys help me figure this out? I'm all out of options and really need update my prototypes so I can test them on mobile. Is there a work around this? While sync doesn't work smooth, how can I open my XD propotypes on mobile? Many thanks,Douglas
I'm sycning a Lightroom Catalog that is 88mb with 40 mb for the previews and it is taking way longer than it should. Also doesn't seem to be progressing.
Hi there, I have a question about photo tags and Adobe CC. But first, a little background: Our business is a small agricultural firm. We have two employees in our marketing department. Our photos are stored on a designated drive on our local file server. All in all, we have about 100,000 assets to manage. For years, we've used Google Picasa to tag and organize photos but are looking to make a switch as we expand and grow. I've looked into various (not Adobe) Digital Asset Management software and was taken aback at the expense involved ($12K minimum, plus annual service charges). So I'm wondering, can this be done via Adobe CC? My specific questions are: Do we need to change anything about our current file storage if members of our team use Adobe CC? There's presently neither desire nor need to host our media in the cloud. Photo tags are the major feature. I assume Adobe programs can read our current metadata info? Is the tag library shared across users? If person A tags a photo, will t
It would be so much easier if my colleagues using free accounts could see some type of alert on the thumbnails of the pictures when comments have been made instead of having to click on the picture, then click on Activity.
