Hello communityIm new to adobe's CC. I found the sync folder feature very useful, so i decided to upload a project.I placed various files from dreamweaver(.jpg, .mp4, .html, .css)in my CC folder((pic 1) they are in a subfolder). The files seem to be there(local i can use them), but when i try to use them from my other device, there are not there. On the browser interface, the html file for example, is just a picture, but it shows me not the content, it shows me the icon(pic 2). And there is another problem. I use a Laptop and a desktop. The files i place with laptop are not visible on the CC folder in the Windows Explorer and vice versa. The upload from laptop worked(showing pictures of what should be code...(pic 3 )), but the desktopfiles are not synced to cloud. When i download a file, the content is what i expect. But the integrated network drive is useless for me.I use win 8 on desktop, and win 7 on laptop.Hope someone can help me. (english is not my native language, thank you for u
This is related to my reply to post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1280818?tstart=0 and is in response to post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1281261?tstart=0OS: WindowsOS Version: 8 EnterpriseBrowser: ChromeBrowser Version: 29.0.1547.57mProblem: Opening the Creative Cloud app results in a hung Home, Files, and Fonts pages. Apps and Behance work properly. I was able to sync after I initially updated Creative Cloud after I was granted early access on August 8. I opened Creative Cloud on August 21 and it indicated I needed to update. I updated, but it failed. I followed instructions to install, clean using the Adobe App cleaner, renamed the OOBE directories, rebooted, and then re-installed Creative Cloud. I got the nonresponsive Home, Files, and Fonts except for the spinner in the middle. I uninstalled, cleaned, rebooted, and reinstalled to no avail. I am unable to access the fonts I was previously able to sync. My Windows 7 laptop has not needed an update since I updated it for sync on
I am having a problem for the last week with syncing my Creative Cloud files. I keep getting Server error and after I read the Forum answers to the matter and tried to go to page .... and then page.... I gave up. It is really frustrating. Does anyone know when the problem will be fixed? I was using a different cloud provider and it's somehow bothering I have to work on two services to get my files sent to my coding guys.
As a Photoshop CC only subscriber, I applied for and was granted early access to load Typekit fonts to my Desktop. Unfortunately I'm still unable to do this, being repeatedly asked to upgrade to a Portfolio plan or higher which requires additional payment. Do I have to subscribe to the full version of CC in order to qualify?
G'day people!I use Creative Cloud under a team licence and I'm trying to use Typekit for the first time. Appearently its included in our licence.I look at Creative Cloud, and under Type, all it says is "Coming Soon: etc" with a "Tell Me more" button.I thought this was available now as my manager can access them through his Creative Cloud.Any ideas why I can't?Cheers
Hi, as per title, I'm on the early adopter program for file and font sync. Since yesterday, I'm receiving the message "File Syncing Is Off" on one of my laptops with the option to Resume. I try and click on Resume, it thinks about it, starts syncing and gives the same error. I have uninstalled and resinstalled Creative Cloud Desktop but no change. My other laptop is working fine.
I've been using the desktop synched fonts for several weeks, and it's worked perfectly until now. Now that I'm using them under a hot deadline, of course. I've turned synch off and back on, made sure the fonts were still synched (they are) and to no avail. What changed, and how can I work with these fonts that the client has seen and wants? Thanks in advance for any helpful insights.Anna
One of two synced fonts doesn't appear in Adobe Muse, but in Photoshop CC it does. What can I do?I synced "Mostra Nova" and "Proxima Nova" with typekit. But only Mostra Nova appears in Adobe Muse. Proxima Nova doesn't. In Photoshop CC both appear. Can I fix this? Or is it a bug, that will be fixed?
I got accepted last night into the beta for Typekit Desktop version. I haven't gotten a chance to do much with it just yet and will be experimenting with it throughout the day and weekend, but I wanted to know if any of you have an experience with it that you would like to share?
I have downloaded the Creative Cloud ap. On the Home tab, nothing downloads; the wheeel just keeps spinning. When I click on the Aps tab, the aps are there and will download. When I click on the Fonts tan and click on the link that says "Browse fonts on Typekit" nothing happens. Please advise how to correct this.
I'm having problems with Typekit - it won't stay synced with my machine - any ideas? I've tried logging out of CC and restarting - no luck. And now I've lost all previous fonts I had synced. Please help
Thank you
On the Typekit website, I see lots of references to features that are available only to certain groups of customers. They list four groups: Plus, Unlimited, Premium, and Business Class. If I want to try a feature as a Creative Cloud user, which of these groups is me? (and curious, why don't they list "CC subscriber" as a group?)AM
If I like a family I'm using via my Typekit access/synching, and I want to have a copy "permanently" (so I can include it in my packaged InDesign file), how do I do that? I looked all over the Typekit site but don't see that option.BTW if there's a Typekit forum here, let me know ... this is the one the Search field brought me to. No active forums on the Typekit site as far as I could tell.AM
I have had an email saying I can now use teh sync facility in adovbe Cloud Desktop app BUT I have tried it and it still says it is "comming soon". Have I got to alter a setting at my end?
So... I wake up my computer from sleep, and i get a warning that CC application was unable to sync 5 files (old ones) due to a server error... I found that strange since they were old files and i opened my local CC folder... And... It was empty... I went to the online CC account and there were only 5 files there (the ones that were mentioned on the error. The space used is still the same as if the files were there... But...What is happening?!
My desktop Creative Cloud can't upload any more file to my cloud. It stucks at 1,99Gb and stop itself as soon as it tries to upload new files or the same old ones that failed before. It says 1,99Gb on 20Gb since I have a subscription but I can not use the cloud since a couple of days.
Hi there,I've been using Font and File Sync for about a month - it's had a few hiccups but all seems to be working smoothly for now. And I do like the functionality of it all.One thing I'd like to possibly float... I really would like to see if possible a separation of font and file syncing.File syncing has been really chewing up my download allowance, therefore I upgraded my internet plan the other week. But even with the increased allowance any changes/additions to files and folders on my iMac gets immediately uploaded and (usually) downloaded to my MacBook (as it should I suppose) - and the allowance seems to go in no time. Also while this constant uploading/downloading goes on, it really does slow my normally quick internet connection down so that any additional emailing/uploading/downloading slows to a snails pace. Now I know I can manually switch off syncing and sync perhaps at the end of the day if I want, but that disables any online fonts synced and renders any files that now us
I puased file syncing when I lost some data a few weeks back (thank you to the Adobe Staff who assisted me with this issue and worked to rectify the problem and recover my data). However now, after updating my Creative Cloud application, I cannot resume file syncing. When I attempt to resume file sync, the application acts like it is syncing but then pauses again. I have also attempted to resume sync while the Creative Cloud application is running as Administrator on Windows 7.
I'd like to access the file and font sync via CC, and have downloaded the Creative Cloud Installer several times, however when I launch it, it opens Application Manager. How can I get the desktop app to launch? I'm a CC user, and a legacy CS3 user.
A few days ago I managed to sync a few fonts to my Creative Cloud desktop and I also used them in Illustrator. But now I don't know how to do this again?? Please help!
Is there an additional Typekit charge for fonts with Creative Cloud membership? I am not clear if these are trial fonts or if there will be a charge for using them permanently in Adobe Illustrator CS6. Thanks for any assistance.
Does the purchase of creative cloud provide a serial number, or will I have to download the programs every month. I have been using the trial versions and leaving them open so that I do not run out of the aloted number of program openings. Overall, the lack in ease of use for this creative cloud system has frustrated me countless more times than I have been satified. I will always need to use Adobe programs, but I hope in the future things can be smoother for customers. Thanks for any help,B
So I have been using Creative Cloud for storage for quite some while, but today I turned my computer on and I got the message (welcome.ai is deleted) from creative cloud. It was a small little welcome message for a shared folder I made for a magazine I am working for. The problem is that that message did not only mean the deletion of my file online but also offline, which means it doesn't exist anymore. Please Adobe, give an explanation for this weird occurence.
This morning I began to copy a few files into my local CC folder for automatic upload to the server. CC began the upload process, and then stopped saying that it was full.I have 4.5GB of files in my CC local folder.I have the default 20GB plan with CC.I have viewed the Archive folder and it is empty. Is there a fix I can do on my end to reset CC so the proper amount of available space is known by the app?
