Digital Editions

I'm tryin to read an E-book on my Adobe Digital Editions program. And it doesn't open the window at all. The program comes to the tools on the bottom of the screen but doesn't open at all. I tried to reinstall and everything but nothing happens. I was reading the E-book earlier today. Closed my laptop for lunch, tried to go back and now it doesn't work.What can I do? Thankful for all the help.

I can't use Adobe Digital Editions anymore. This message keeps appearing. How do I resolve this? Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12

A week ago I opened my e-books as always. From some time something- I- dont-Know happened and My old ID was unable to open the books. So I've created a new Adobe ID with new pw, erased the former authorization, modified my registry and finally entered the new ID. Now Digital Editions recognize the new ID but the problem stalls : the account is not linked to the book.Te new ID is totally uneuseful. Can you help me?Sincerely,Enrico DiniFirenze

I am currently using Adobe Digital Editions and trying to read a textbook for one of my classes. When I scroll it is extremely slow and I cannot scroll through pages smoothly. The words are blurry in one whole chapter and no matter what I do I can't get it fixed. Any advice on what I can do to make this work? I have been struggling to read this book for so long because of many issues with Adobe Digital Editions.

Hello all, I downloaded adobe digital and a ebook from my college. I have the book displayed in the adobe app. Any how I cant seem to figure out how to get the book to read out loud for me. Any help is much appreacited.

How to obtain a refund for Adobe Reader?  I should have bought Acrobat. Tony

My ADE 2.5.10 stopped working, so I found the updated 2.5.11 & installed it. The program appears to down load okay but it won't finsh installing or open. Do I need to delete 2.5.10 first? I got it straight from Adobe, btw.

My Adobe Digital Edition has always run perfectly well, but since yesterday it is a blank space where no books are shown in the shelves and it doesn't allow new downloads. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but still the same. ¿Anybody can help? Thank you  

I have Adobe Digital Additions downloaded. It works fine. I have been sent an e-mail from school to download a book. It downloads fine. But when I try to open it I keep getting a message that says "Unable to Download - Error Getting License. License Server Communication Problem E_LIC_ALREADY FUFILLED_BY ANOTHER USER". Can anyone help me with this?

Hi there, after deleting and resetting adobe ID adobe digital editions keeps reporting error "document not found" when I try to add an ebook from my laptop.How can this be resolved, please? 

I am running ADE 4.5 edition and I cannot scroll through the pages or use the Find function.  However, if I select a page, close down the app, and then reopen the app, it opens the book at the page I wanted.   Can someone please help ASAP? CheersCraig

Hi,I use a couple of programs to manage my non-DRM e-book collection.  I use Calibre on Windows and Calibre Companion on Android.  Both are good at passing the e-book to ADE and ADE copies the e-book to the My Digital Editions or Digital Editions folders on Windows and Android.  Having the e-book resident in these folders allows me to make annotations and highlights to the e-book which go into the annotations folder.The issue that I encounter on both the Windows and Android platforms is when I attempt to open an e-book via a program which in turn activate ADE and the e-book is already present in the My Digital Editions or Digital editions folders, then ADE will create a new copy of the e-book in the folder.  What this does is cause me to loose my annotations and highlighting from the last reading session with the e-book.I don't know why ADE does this.  What would make sense is to have ADE check to see if the e-book is already present in the My Digital Editions

Hi! I've used Adobe Digital Editions for loaning e-books for a couple years now during my university studies and it has usually worked fine. Recently my loans have been expiring almost immediately as I've downloaded them. That didn't happen before. I usually loan the books from EBSCO database as a pdf file and select the option to loan them for 3 days. The downloaded file has a file extension ".acsm". I'm able to open and read the book for that period as long as I don't close the book in ADE. If I close the book the loan expires in under 15 minutes. I tried to update to the newest version of ADE, but it didn't seem to help. I'm running Adobe Digital Editions on Macbook Air (13-inch, 2017) and macOS High Sierra v. 10.13.6. Regards,Tino

I created Adobe ID, downloaded ADE 4.5 and wanted manually authorize my computer but in the Help the Authorizing and Deauthorizing function is not active ... what can I do? Thanks for your help

J'ai la version 4.5 car j'ai le système caterina et ce système ne prends pas la version 3.0. J'essai d'annuler mon autorisation mais une fenêtre apparait disant impossibled'annuler l'autorisation veuillez réessayer plus tard. J'ai au moins essayé 20 fois. J'ai vérifié que  j'avais bien le bon mot de. passe.Si je branche ma liseuse à mon ordinateur si je clique sur la petite. roue à coté de Kobo toutes les inscriptions sont grises et non noires.Je ne sais pplus quoi faireQuelqu'un peu m'aider svp

Two questions about this:1) I have found instructions that say I need to authorize my computer to create an Adobe ID.In Adobe Digital Editions, the "Authorize Computer" and other menu items related to authorization are all greyed out and do nothing.2) When I tried to use the live-chat help option on the Adobe site, the agent there (presumably a real person) told me that ADE was a discontinued legacy product. Was this a language-barrier misunderstanding or is ADE actually obsolete?  If so, what *should* I be using
