Digital Editions

So I did try and deleted the app and downloaded it again. I did accept it on Firewall. I did everything. And still, my ebooks, that I downloaded from an online library won't open. It tries to open them but then it doesn't do anything and I can't even close the program. I am currently using the newest version on a Mac. I never had this problem on a windows. It stays like this forever, it doesn't do anything.

    I purchased these two books from Google and downloaded them to add them to the Digital Editions app.The issue is that when I add these books to the Digital Editions app, some part of the page is deleted.Look at the screenshot, these are the books on Google Books and these are on the Digital Editions app. Is there a solution?

Adobe owes me 270€ for books I have bought. At two times now, my Kobo Ereader has erased all my books when new firmware has been released. The first time it happened was about a year ago when I was traveling without my computer. When I got home I was able to download and transfer them to my Ereader. The second time was today. After download of my books .acsm files from Google books I now get E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED when I open the files in ADE .I now own a lot of books that I cant transfer to my Ereader. I understand the need for a DRM protection but why do I need authorise books that already has been authorised on both my PC and my Ereader? ADE is a nightmare.

ADE indicates it is authorized on my laptop, but when I try to load an acsm file I get a message that says Error check authorization. I have verified that my date, time and timezone are correct. I have downloaded and installed the newest version of ADE but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

Dear Community, I am trying to print pages from my book by selecting a range of pages. While it is working fine for the first pages (e.g a range between page 10 and page 18), it does not work anymore for further pages (e.g. pages starting from 371 to 378).  I am facing an error stating that no pages were selected... I was trying to look for similar issues within the community but was not able to find any answers to my problem. I am running ADE under Mac OS. thanks for your help!

When I try to download an ebook the following message error appears:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY-OR-PKCS12I have tried to erase authorization of my device but I didn't succeed. A message appears telling that is not possible at that moment and suggesting to try later.I'm using Windows 10.Thank you very much

Hi,I have been having problems with my pc lately and lost all my documents on it. After importing the data from a previous backup I now can't open the epub files from the backup. It says the document is licensed to a different user account. I dont know if I had another user account previously - is there some way to check to what account the epub files are licenced to? Or is there something else I can do to be able to open these files again? I have several bought ebook that I would like to be able to read again. Cecilia

Ich habe mir heute zum ersten mal e bücher gekauft und wurde von dem verlag direkt auf dieses program verwiesen es öffnet die bücher allerdings nicht es kommt nur die folgende angehangene fehler meldung  würde mich über rück meldung freuen 

Ich habe eine ursprüngliche Adobe-Id vergessen und die E-Mail Adresse existiert nicht mehr.Daneben habe ich eine weitere, später eingericchtete und auch funktionierende IDWie kann ich mich wieder anmelden bzw. diese ID mit einer aktuell gültigen ID verknüpfen?Vielen Dank

all of the sudden I can't open my books downloaded and stored in the app on my ipad! It worked fine yesterday. I have tried to reset app and ipad, but when i tap the books nothing happens! Pleas help! Have deadline to meet today and need access to these books!

When I download a book from my public library I can open it in digital editions 4.5 but when I transfer it to my device (kobo) and try to open it on the kobo it says "This book is protected by DRM. Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions." I tried erasing authorization and setting git up again but it still won't work. Erased and downloaded a new edition of ADE, that didn't work either. Tried different books and libraries but still have problem. Called kobo and after troubleshooting with them they say it as ADE problem. Please please please help! Thank you!

I've been using ADE for years with no problem, but today it's not recognizing my nook glowlight. I've downloaded the latest version of ADE. I've got an Adobe authorization on the nook (same nook I've been using with ADE for a couple years) and my Mac. The Mac recognizes the nook, but ADE doesn't now. Any suggestions?

HELP What can I do to see Device in the ADE library. I cannot download from ADE to Kobo since Device just down NOT appear in the Library.

Hallo,ich habe ein Problem beim autorisieren meines Computers in ADE. Obwohl ich mich mit meiner Adobe-ID ganz normal online anmelden kann und mir vom Kundenservice versichert wurde, dass die ID ganz normal funktioniert, kann ich damit meinen Computer nicht autorisieren. Ich erhalte ständig die Fehlermeldung: "Anmelde-ID/Kennw. f. ausgew. eBook-Anbieter ist falsch. Erneut vers." Dabei sind alle Daten korrekt.Ich hatte das Problem schon einmal. Damals hatte ich mich an den Kundenservice gewendet und nach einem Neustart hat das Anmelden funktioniert. Nachdem ich die Adobe-ID gewechselt habe, um ein anderes Buch lesen zu können, hat wieder nichts funktioniert. Mit keine der beiden Adobe-IDs.

I want to borrow e-copies of library books on Libby.  I have done this in the past with Overdrive.  I have an old Adobe account which uses my old defunct/inactive email address as the password.  It won't communicate any more with my library card which now uses my current email address.  So I want to erase it's authorization on Adobe Digital Editions  and authorize my new Adobe account which uses my current active email address.  However, when I try to do this I get the message:  "Unable to erase authorization.  Please try after some time."   I have been trying unsuccessfully for a week and have spent many hours with on-line chat support and a live agent - who directed me to this forum.   I have tried changing the email address on the old account to my new email but it is not accepted as it is already being used in  my new account.  I have tried changing passwords.  I have tried to access my Adobe Digital Edition

Gibt es ein Tool wo man seine Geräte verwalten kann? Geräte die ausscheiden löschen damit wieder freie Lizenzen sind? Wo kann man sich hinwenden wenn mandie Adobe-ID Aktivierungen zurücksetzen lassen möchte? Der Support hat mich ans Forum verwiesen und es gibt hier schon viele Nutzer mit den gleichen Problemen aber keine Lösung.

Hello, I have been reading a digital editions book on my desktop, and have been highlighting and making notes. I now want to read the same book on another device (e.g., laptop), and the highlighting or notes have not synced between the devices. Does anyone know how to fix this? (so that I am not making seperate notes/highlights on each device)?Thanks!

I am trying to switch the vendor I'd from adobe to books a million but it won't change it can someone  explain this

Tengo dos cuentas en Adobe. De una de ellas he olvidado la contraseña -es la que está vinculada a mi equipo.  Quiero vincular el equipo a la cuenta nueva, pero no hay forma de recuperar la contraseña en la web de adobe editions (dice que espere tras intentarlo, pero no se abre ningín acceso a recuperar la contraseña olvidada) Así, no puedo quitar DRM a los libros comprados en kobo o kindle para leer en ereaders de otras marcas ¿Podéis ayudarme?

I'm using my small windows laptop.  IADE and download of library book was going well.  Could figure out.  I uninstalled ADE and re-instsalled.  ADE authorization was still resident. Still had same problem.  ??  Compared ADE authoriaztion with my main desktop.  They were the same.   So I reallized my main desktop computer was on.  Turned desktop off and now I can open Library book on laptop.  Is this correct response? Only one instance of ADE at a time?

Hola! Tengo hace dos meses suscripción de Adobe via Creative Cloud. Me reconoce mi cuneta, y mis pagos. hasta ahí todo ok.... Abro en la MAC Adobe, y me reconoce la cuenta... pero al querer editar un documento me indica que debo comprar licencia...pero ya la tengo comprada y la pago regularmente....Alguien podrá ayudarme?
