Hola!Tengo un lector antiguo (BQ Cervantes, el primero que salió) pero en teoria tiene capacidad para leer DRM. De hecho, tengo Adobe Dgital Editions, me reconoce el lector, y lo he usado con otros archivos de una biblioteca pública (ebooks protegidos con DRM) sin problemas. Pues acabo de comprarme un ebook (epub con DRM) y cuando lo intento abrir en mi lector tras haberlo enviado con ADE, el lector se me reinicia.... (se reinicia cuando abro la carpeta donde lo tengo metido, el resto de carpetas me deja abrirlas, y si lo cambio de carpeta pasa lo mismo con la carpeta nueva...)Puedo abrir el archivo con ADE desde mi ordenador sin problemas, tanto desde la memoria de mi ordenador como desde la memoria de mi lector a través del ordenador cuando los tengo conectados. Alguien sabe qué está pasando??

What does message code mean, and what am I supposed to do?Licens server communication problem: E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TOO_SHORT

I just installed Adobe Digital Editions, and it wants me to authorize my computer using my Adobe ID and password. While I do have an Adobe ID, I do not have a password. When I try to log in to Adobe, I get redirected to my institution's central authentication service, meaning I log in to Adobe through my institution. I never created a password, and it's not possible to change or find a password for my account. My institution does not support Adobe Digital Editions, so they can't help me on this problem. How should I proceed?

Hi, I’m encountering an issue with downloading the .acsm file . The error message says: "Unable todownload Error getting License Server Communication Problem." I have Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 installed and authorized with my Adobe ID. My device runs on windows 11/Android. I’ve tried redownloading the file and checked all settings. Could you assist me in resolving this? If this doesn't resolve the issue, let me know, and we can explore alternatives!

I have the ebook on my computer, but am not able to access the book on my ipad. I have tried deauthorizing my account mulitple times and nothing. I can see the book on my computer. I just need it on my ipad. 

I can't transfer books that have DRM because ADE doesn't recognise that a reader is connected.I can drag and drop files, because the Mac sees it, but can't open the books because they haven't gone via ADE.

I have a Pocketbook eReader and I am trying to connect to Adobe DRM. Ich würde das Programm gerne auf meinem neuen MacBook verwenden. Über das aktuelle, neue MacBook wurde das Programm nocht nicht verwendet und auf dem alten MacBook ist die Deautorisierung erfolgt.Bei einer Deautorisierung über meinen neuen MacBook erfolgt die Fehlermeldung "Authorisierung kann nicht gelöscht werden. Versuchen Sie es später erneut." Die häufig genannte Lösung: Ordner Application Support > Adobe > Digital Editions öffnen und die Datei activation.dat löschen funktionerte nicht, da die Datei nicht exisiert und auch nicht über den Finder zu finden ist. Das Programm zu deinstallieren und neu zu intallieren hat ebenfalls nichts gebracht. Vielleicht hat jemand noch einen weiteren Lösungsweg für die Deauthorisierung.

I'm using Kobo and Google Plays Books.They use Adobe Digital Editions as a DRM service.And now both of my Adobe Digital Editions IDs (one is self adobe id, and one is from PocketBook which is an e-book reader app) cannot log in to authorize any new device.It tells "Your account has exceeded the maximum number of activations allowed."Please help me to reset it.

Hola. Compré un libro en Bajalibros, que aunque ya no trabaja con Adobe, aún permite leer los libros con adobe Digital. Necesito quitar la autorización de Bajalibros para incorporar la de google y poder leer los libros de google play con adobe digital, pero no recuerdo la contraseña que usaba en Bajalibros. ¿qué puedo hacer? We have identified a requirement to introduce Digital Editions into our corporate environment to meet a DRM need from a purchased service, but before we can begin this process there is a requirment to review the product's technical specifications - Ideally architecture / installation / configuration / administration documents.How/Where can I find these documents for ADE as it is not part of the enterprise suite they dont seem readily available.

Dear all, I have an Epub file that looks perfect when I open it in ePub+, but the lay-out is rather messed up when I open it in ADE. Spaces disappear for example, and the font looks rather weird. Does anyone recognize this problem or know how to fix it? 

Adobe digital Edition per chromebook non funziona bene e ho dovuto cancellarlo. Ma non posso più registrare con lo stesso ID il programma su PC. E quindi non posso aprire il file (libro) protetto.Come posso cancellare la registrazione sul chromebook? Dalla funzione su help mi dice che non la può fare perchè non riesce a collegarsi. Ho disinstallato il programma ma la registrazione rimane...

I am getting sick and tired of this crap from ADE. Yesterday it worked fine. I launched it today and it freezes on the splash screen. On a re-install ADE will launch, but as soon as I try to open it with the files saved from the previous version (My Digital Editions.old) , it freezes again. So clearly something in the files was corrupted and is causing it to freeze on the splash screen.This is not the first time ADE has done this, it has done something like this in every version of Win or ADE we've run for over a decade. Because Adobe and MS can't get ADE to work properly on a 2 user computer (y'know, like a really, really, complicated user setup) we will have to have 2 computers as long as we have e-readers. Or at least until ADE succeeds in bricking our ereaders.It's 2025. What kind of amateur software company writes software that trashes itself, all on its own, with nothing done by the user.Fix this problem, and do better, will you?

Dear ADE Community, I have a new Tolino Shine 5 and trying to transfer an eBook to it with ADE.What I did:1) Download eBook from Overdrive in acsm format2) add to library in ADE3) logged into my Adobe account (got success message)4) right click on ebook and transfer to eReader5) get message code E_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS.Can someone please help me from there? Thanks!

HiI am getting the following error when I try to open certain ebooks in ADE.I have tried the following:- de-authorize ADE through the menu item (not successful)- de-authorize ADE by deleting the Adept key from the registry (successful)- re-authorize ADE (this gives me the error message below as well)How can I solve this problem?Regards

Have just purchased an ebook from the Google Play store and I am unable to download it for offline reading.I have tryes to uninstall and re-install as well as follow the instructions for re creating the authorization.Every time I click on the .acsm file to download I get the following error.I have tried this on both Windows and OSX (both new installations).Please can someone assist Thanks 

Hola, Ya escribí en otra ocasión (hace semanas) y no se me contestó. Por favor. Tengo instalado el Digital Editions. Tenía en otro ordenador, éste se me estropeó, y he instalado en un nuevo ordenador, he abierto mi usuario en el Digital Editions instalado. Los libros se abren pero no pasan las páginas. Es decir, en el visor inferior se ve que pasa la página, pero no se visualizan las páginas, se queda en la primera página del libro. Y cuando cierro y vuelvo a abrir, entonces se abre en la última página que se había movido (y que antes no se visualizaba). Añado captura de vídeo, para ver si se explica mejor. También por si hubiera problema he adjuntado el vídeo.  Quedo a la espera de ayuda. Gracias

I have the latest Adobe Digital Editions installed on my Windows 10 but when I try to open an ebook in EPUB from the library it won't open and I get a message saying:"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."What do I do?

J'ai adobe digital version 3 dans mon ordi et j'ai également windows 10.  J'ai téléchargé un livre numérique de la bibliothèque municipale dans mon ordi.  Je peux le lire mais je ne peux pas le transférer dans ma liseuse kobo aura.  Ils m'indiquent que ce document est protégé et que adobe n'autorise pas le transfert.  Dans adobe à la rubrique aide, j'ai désinstallé l'autorisation et réinstallé par la suite.   J'ai fait de même avec le kobo reader.  Aucun succès.  Par contre, il y a 3 semaines tout fonctionnait.  Quand je veux transférer mon livre dans la liseuse, ils indiquent problème: contacter adobe.
