Hi,adobe digital editions 4.5 startet nicht mehr. wer kann  weiterhelfen?

We have identified a requirement to introduce Digital Editions into our corporate environment to meet a DRM need from a purchased service, but before we can begin this process there is a requirment to review the product's technical specifications - Ideally architecture / installation / configuration / administration documents.How/Where can I find these documents for ADE as it is not part of the enterprise suite they dont seem readily available.

Dear all, I have an Epub file that looks perfect when I open it in ePub+, but the lay-out is rather messed up when I open it in ADE. Spaces disappear for example, and the font looks rather weird. Does anyone recognize this problem or know how to fix it? 

Adobe digital Edition per chromebook non funziona bene e ho dovuto cancellarlo. Ma non posso più registrare con lo stesso ID il programma su PC. E quindi non posso aprire il file (libro) protetto.Come posso cancellare la registrazione sul chromebook? Dalla funzione su help mi dice che non la può fare perchè non riesce a collegarsi. Ho disinstallato il programma ma la registrazione rimane...

Hallo, kann mir jemand sagen wo ich die ID finde, damit ich meinen Computer verifizieren kann.Ohne die Nr kann ich die ebooks nicht auf meinen Ebookreader laden.Danke für Eure Hilfe

I am getting sick and tired of this crap from ADE. Yesterday it worked fine. I launched it today and it freezes on the splash screen. On a re-install ADE will launch, but as soon as I try to open it with the files saved from the previous version (My Digital Editions.old) , it freezes again. So clearly something in the files was corrupted and is causing it to freeze on the splash screen.This is not the first time ADE has done this, it has done something like this in every version of Win or ADE we've run for over a decade. Because Adobe and MS can't get ADE to work properly on a 2 user computer (y'know, like a really, really, complicated user setup) we will have to have 2 computers as long as we have e-readers. Or at least until ADE succeeds in bricking our ereaders.It's 2025. What kind of amateur software company writes software that trashes itself, all on its own, with nothing done by the user.Fix this problem, and do better, will you?

Dear ADE Community, I have a new Tolino Shine 5 and trying to transfer an eBook to it with ADE.What I did:1) Download eBook from Overdrive in acsm format2) add to library in ADE3) logged into my Adobe account (got success message)4) right click on ebook and transfer to eReader5) get message code E_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS.Can someone please help me from there? Thanks!

HiI am getting the following error when I try to open certain ebooks in ADE.I have tried the following:- de-authorize ADE through the menu item (not successful)- de-authorize ADE by deleting the Adept key from the registry (successful)- re-authorize ADE (this gives me the error message below as well)How can I solve this problem?Regards

Have just purchased an ebook from the Google Play store and I am unable to download it for offline reading.I have tryes to uninstall and re-install as well as follow the instructions for re creating the authorization.Every time I click on the .acsm file to download I get the following error.I have tried this on both Windows and OSX (both new installations).Please can someone assist Thanks 

Hola, Ya escribí en otra ocasión (hace semanas) y no se me contestó. Por favor. Tengo instalado el Digital Editions. Tenía en otro ordenador, éste se me estropeó, y he instalado en un nuevo ordenador, he abierto mi usuario en el Digital Editions instalado. Los libros se abren pero no pasan las páginas. Es decir, en el visor inferior se ve que pasa la página, pero no se visualizan las páginas, se queda en la primera página del libro. Y cuando cierro y vuelvo a abrir, entonces se abre en la última página que se había movido (y que antes no se visualizaba). Añado captura de vídeo, para ver si se explica mejor. También por si hubiera problema he adjuntado el vídeo.  Quedo a la espera de ayuda. Gracias

I have the latest Adobe Digital Editions installed on my Windows 10 but when I try to open an ebook in EPUB from the library it won't open and I get a message saying:"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.  Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."What do I do?

J'ai adobe digital version 3 dans mon ordi et j'ai également windows 10.  J'ai téléchargé un livre numérique de la bibliothèque municipale dans mon ordi.  Je peux le lire mais je ne peux pas le transférer dans ma liseuse kobo aura.  Ils m'indiquent que ce document est protégé et que adobe n'autorise pas le transfert.  Dans adobe à la rubrique aide, j'ai désinstallé l'autorisation et réinstallé par la suite.   J'ai fait de même avec le kobo reader.  Aucun succès.  Par contre, il y a 3 semaines tout fonctionnait.  Quand je veux transférer mon livre dans la liseuse, ils indiquent problème: contacter adobe.

On my e-Reader (Poketbook touch lux) is adobe digital editions allready installed, so I should be able to activate my books on the reader. When I open the acsm file it tells me that I have to activate my book. So I enter my Adobe ID and Password. Then he works a few moments and shows me this error:E_STREAM_ERROR CURL returned 6 (6)Does anyone know what I can do to be able avtivate my books on the e-reader?Regards

My Digital Editions refuses to start. So I uninstalled it and downloaded the latetst version. Same problem. Also tried running it as administrator. Same problem. This is the Window version running om Window 10 64.Any ideas?

I have trouble with authorization/deauthorization basically because of an old email address. ADE is authorized with the old email address but dont accept the psassword when I am trying deauthorization. When trying to change password Adobe tells me that my account doesen't exist and therefore not possible to change. What can I do?

I am totally new to this adobe reader software. Today has been frustrating because I bought a book through google play, and cannot move it to my e-reader because I can't seem to login to authorize the software. I tried my google ID and password because that's what I understood it to be but it does not accept that. Can anyone PLEASE help me?Thank youStacy

Ik heb een zakelijk Adobe-account. Nu heb ik Adobe Digital Editions op mijn Mac gedownload en geïnstalleerd. maar hij onthoudt alleen de studentenlicentie van 15 jaar geleden waarvan ik het wachtwoord niet meer heb en er is ook geen optie om het wachtwoord opnieuw op te vragen.Hoe los ik dit op? De Adobe-ondersteuning helpt niet. Ik kom hier gewoon niet verder...Een uur in de chat gezeten maar die kunnen ook niet helpen.Is er een manier om dit programma te verwijderen en dat er geen link meer is van een oud account en opniew te installeren? I have an Adobe business account. Now I have downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Editions on my Mac. but it only remembers the student license from 15 years ago for which I no longer have the password and there is no option to retrieve the password. I'm running Windows 10. Adobe Digital Editions was working. Then I had a computer crash and now it won't even launch. I click on it and nothing happens.   I've tried restarting the computer.   I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Digital Editions. The reinstall appeared to be successful but it still won't start.

I'm trying to authorize my Kobo device that I just got but my laptop is too old to download adobe's digital reader so I did it on my ipad but I'm not seeing an option to authorize my iPad. Is there a way to do so on my ipad? 

Bonjour, Je viens d'acheter une Kobo, en remplacement de mon Kindle pour emprunter des livres à la bibliothèque. Je suis sur un imac version 2021, avec ios Sequoia 15.2 fraîchement installé. J'ai téléchargé ADE 4.5. Ma Kobo Libra color est bien connectée à l'ordinateur (il me demande si je veux la connecter). En revanche sur ADE, aucune reconnaissance de la Kobo ! J'ai tout essayé (desinstallation, reinstallation, changement de câble USB etc), rien à faire... J'ai lu sur le site d'une bibliothèque que le version 4.5 ne reconnaissait pas les Kobo, et qu'il fallait installer la version 3.0, mais qui n'est plus supportée depuis ios Catalina 10.5!!! Certains ont-ils eu le même problème sur mac avec une Kobo ?... Que faire ? Rendre cette nouvelle liseuse et retourner chez Amazon ?? Merci à vous

As other forums have mentioned, the link on your website (Adobe Digital Editions | Download ) leads to a part that says download 3.0 here, which leads to this Adobe Digital Editions downloads​ .A separate forum has the link to download it on a PC, but unfortunately none for Mac OsX 10 or above. Could you send a working link for this?Thank you.
