I cannot open my books in Adobe Digital Editions. I tried to follow the steps: 'Press Cmd-Shift-D to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.'But when I do this it just says: ' Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try after some time.'I have now tried a lot of times and it still does not work. I have tried to uninstall the program and install again. It does not change anything.Please help.Maria

I have Adobe Digital edition 4.5.7 on windows 8.1X64, I was able to successfully erase the authorization, however when i tried to reauthorize i am not able to as after I click on re-authorization nothing happens.Can you please help me with it.ThanksVittori.

I have been reading a book which I bought recently for some £££ and now I can't open it anymore. the message "unable to open [name of book]" and "errors were encountered in this item" appear. I can't find any help in the troubleshooting online. Any ideas?

Meine Digital Edition verlangt nach einem Update auf 4.5.7.179634. Das Update wird aber nicht geladen, weil angeblich keine Verbindung zum Internet vorhanden ist. Das Update wird abgebrochen. Die Verbindung zum Internet ist aber vorhanden, sonst könnte ich z.B. jetzt hier im Forum nicht schreiben. Was läuft falsch?

Because of problems with DRM yesterday I followed the support to de-authorize the computer and authorize again. But when I press Authorize computer in digital editions nothing happens. Nothing!Whats wrong? I'm starting to get desperet! Heellp!

Hi.I recently purchased an e-book which is protected by Adobe DRM (Digital Rights Management).I am using an e-reader called PocketBook touch lux 3.Firstly I cannot connect my Adobe DRM account with my e-reader. When I try to link my account, I get an error message saying: "activation was failed (E_ADEPT_NETWORK http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/ActivationServiceInfo)."Secondly I am not able to open the book. The reason is because it says I do not have a linked Adobe DRM account.I have already spoken to several agents on the chat system about this problem, but none could help me. Bonjour, voilà étant plutôt débutante dans Photoshop et ayant gardé les habitudes de mes anciens logiciels de dessin, je me retrouve confrontée à un changement qui concerne le pinceau mélangeur. Imaginons que j'ai deux couleurs dans mon dessin : du rouge et du bordeau. Je souhaite les mélanger mais.. une autre couleur se rajoute, celle qui est sélectionnée dans la palette. Imaginons que j'ai sélectionné du bleu, alors le pinceau va certes mélanger le rouge avec le bordeau, mais aussi rajouter du bleu au mélange et cela m'embête énormément. N'y a-t-il pas moyen de mélanger les couleurs sans tenir compte de la couleur sélectionnée ? Car oui je peux sélectionner par exemple du bordeau au lieu du bleu, mais alors le mélange ne sera pas équilibré, il aura une tendance sur le bordeau.. Je devrais donc chercher à chaque fois un juste milieu avec chaque couleurs que je souhaiterais mélanger, et sachant que dans la réalité mes dessins requièrent énormément de mélanges avec énormément de couleur

I get the following error message when trying to download an e-book from my library: IO Error on Network Request Event DetailsError #2038 How can I fix this? I've emptied out the 'tasks' folder in My Documents / My Digital but that didn't seem to do anything.

Nach erfolgreiche Installation von Adobe Digital Editions unter Windows 8.1 kann ich nach Überspielung auf ein neues Notebook mit Windows 10 keine Dateien mehr mit Adobe Digital Editions öffnen. Die Installation scheint funktioniert zu haben, jedoch lassen sich die epub-Dateien nicht mehr öffnen. Stattdessen erscheint die Fehlermeldung: " In disem Medium wurden Fehler gefunden". Ich habe schon probiert Adobe Digital Editions als Administrator zu öffnen, doch lässt sich das Problem damit nicht lösen. Die Fehlermeldung bleibt: "In diesem Medium wurden Fehler gefunden".

All is set up. ADE installed on computer, Ereader authorized, connected by USB cable. On the computer shown under (D), but I still do not see the reader in ADE library. How to solve this?

Hello, Her is my scenario,i use the adobe digital edition for windows 4.5.2i have opened the acsm url link to download the ebook but before download  finish the ade app crash,after that i have downloaded another acsm file to re-download my interrupted downloadthe download is complete, and ebook open fine,i discover the issue when using ADE iOS APP,when i authorize my device my cloud library contain two file with same titleHow i do to remove the duplicate fileThanks

I'm getting strange inconsistent errors with an ePub I'm currently building for a client. In iBooks all elements work fine as intended, but when you view it in ADE (Adobe Digital Editions) that where strange problems occur. I'm running all latests versions of Adobe Indesign and ADE.I have heard from my Adobe trainer that there are know bugs with the latest ADE/indesign updates causing these issues and that I'm not the only one experiencing problems. Cannot read e-books with Adobe Digital Edition. Errors while opening the book.

Todo funcionaba bien con el Adobe digital editions, hasta que de pronto no me deja abrir ningun ebook y me sale el error: " se han encontrado errores en el elemento". Estoy usando la misma maquina desde el inicio, No he cambiado de maquina. ¿Que puede ser? Ayuda.

Hi, all--I have searched the forums and not found this question answered.When I purchase an e-book (on Google Play), I can usually download either epub or pdf versions. PDF books are not searchable in Adobe Digital Editions. The same book is searchable when I download the epub version, and if I add another pdf to my ADE library, it is searchable. It's just the books purchased on Google Play.The problem is, I just bought a book that I need for my research and it is only available in PDF--no epub. The book is searchable in Google Play. But I will need to read it at times when I do not have wifi access (plus, having books all over the place wreaks havoc with my note-taking workflow).Is this a known problem? How could a pdf not be fully featured in an *Adobe* product?Solutions, workarounds, or sympathetic consolation welcome (in that order). J'ai téléchargé et désinstaller plusieurs fois adobe digital edition 4.5.7 et à chaque fois c'est toujours la même erreur que je reçois. Erreur de permission inconnue. Est-ce que quelqu'un à eu une réponse?

Recent heb ik de autorisatie op de e-reader echter verwijderd.In de zelfhulp kan ik nergens een oplossing vinden. Ik het het volgende geprobeerd:- de-installeren en herinstalleren ADE (meerdere malen, inclusief schonen registry)- reset van e-reader- opnieuw opstarten pcKan iemand mij helpen?Alvast dank.Groet,Edvard

When I try to drag an acsm file to ADE I get an error message: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. I have tried to deauthorize ADE and authorize again but get the same error message. I have used this process for at least five years when buying ebooks, using ADE to get the epub version, removed the DRM and then used Calibre to convert to MOBI. A couple of days ago it suddenly did not work.Any suggestions?Tried to uninstall and install again and load down a new book. Now ADE tries to download content but does not fulfill, stops at 99% and continues running.

Bonjour,J'ai acheté un livre samedi soir et il m'est impossible de le lire. Le format du fichier qui m'a été fourni est *.acsm. Quand je le passe dans le logiciel pour conversion et lecture, j'obtiens le message suivant "Téléchargement impossible ...": J'ai déjà supprimer l'autorisation de mon compte puis remis, redémarré le logiciel, rien n'y a fait. Je suis exaspéré car ce livre est très important.HELP !!!
