Digital Editions

I downloaded ADE, I borrowed some e- books from the library and I can see them in my ADE.. BUT I can´t save them in my Letto when I connect it to the computer. Computer says : authorize the compuer, enter your Adobe ID, and I do that. The answer is : incorrect user ID or password for the selected ebook vendor. Pleas try again. Pleas help me, and I am not very used to computers so I appreciate step-by-step help.

i have an Ereader and Adobe is the solfaare used. I currently have Adobe 3.0 after installing and uninstalling Adobe 4.5 because the newer version did not help. When I try to download a library book I get this messageUnable to downloadError getting license.  License Server Communication ProblemE_ACT_NOT_READYHow do I solve this issue. This is a new problem, I have had the Kobo and downloaded many books prior to this. Kobo tells me it is an Adobe software issue and they have others experiencing the same problem. Until this is is fixed I am not able to read on my ereader.Any help would be appreciated.

My public library has both Overdrive and 3M Cloudlibrary.  The Cloudlibrary app requires the most recent version of ADE.  However, it crashes when I try to fulfill an .acsm file.  When I was trying to close ADE through task manager, I noticed that it was 32 bit, but my laptop is 64 bit.  To work around this, I have to deauthorize ADE 4.5, then reauthorize 3.0.  I don't like having to use multiple versions to accomplish something so simple.  I was thinking because it is a 32 bit program that is why it isn't working with my computer.  Does anyone know if there is a way to download a 64 bit version of ADE 4.5?

I'm looking for a way to view and organize my pdf ebook library like you can in Kindle with Kindle eBooks.The file explorer in Windows 7 has some capability for this but I'm looking for alternatives.

Ich habe die neuste Version heruntergeladen, aber das Programm läßt sich nicht öffen. Alle Versuche, es neu zu installieren, scheiteren. Was kann noch die Ursache sein?

I have purchased an E-book and I have not been able to download or open it. Instead I have received the error message E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERBut neither I nor any of my family or friends had previously opened it.What shall I do?Thanks for your answers,Eli

We have problem in viewing PDF in latest version of ADE and no issue with older version. Most of the texts are not display and it renders as blank. Can you please let us know if this is problem in latest version of ADE or PDF?

Hi everyone!I'm having a problem accessing my file which was accessed by a computer-authorized device after reauthorizing.to help anyone better understand my issue, here's exactly what happened:1. i downloaded an ACSM file.2. installed Digital Editions (DE).3. computer-authorized my device - lets call this authorization AUTH1.4. opened the file; DE stopped responding; closed it, then redid this step about 4 times - same result.5. installed DE on my mobile, logged in to my adobe account - lets call this authorization ID.6. tried downloading the same ACSM file to my mobile using mobile-installed DE - failed; i figured it was because it was tagged to AUTH1.7. erased AUTH1 authorization; because the prompt said only if i reinstalled my OS would i have issues accessing it again.8. tried accessing the file from ID, realized that it my file is tied to AUTH1 and wont be able to view it there anymore.9. computer-authorized my device again..... Hi,I've recently bought 5 books from google play. It's the first time I am using this ebook webstore, so I was surprised to find out that the book was not a true ePub, but one containing DRM and I needed Adobe Digital Edition to transfer my downloaded epub to my ebook reader (which is a Kobo by the way). So, I've downloaded the software, installed it and tried to move the books into it's Library and then to my eBook reader.I was testing the transfer with one of the books, let's call it BOOK_1. I saw that I have to authorize the book transfer, and I had several option. The option in which I could authorize the transfer without using any of the available Vendors ID's like AdobeID or Google (some anonymous option) was the most a appealing too me, since I try to avoid being logged into too may websites. With this option BOOK_1 transferred to the Library without issue. But then, when I  wanted to transfer it to the ebook reader, I found out that I have to authorize the reader as well.

I download some books for research to Digital Editions on my Win 10 PC. Being that ADE does not recognize my Samsung Galaxy S2 as a dedicated e-reader, I had to copy the files over from my PC. My ADE app does not show the books in the library, and when I try to open via the My Files app, I get "content not supported". I need these books for research and reading on my computer hurts my eyes, head, and neck. Help!

Am using ADE 4.7.5.  I can successfully download ebooks from my library and they appear in ADE.  When I move them to my Nook, they are not being moved to my Nook.  Please help..

My computer that Adobe Digital Editions was on with all of my textbooks died. I purchased a new computer while setting up I downloaded digital additions on the new computer, I logged in, I have authorized the computer and none of my books are there. How do I access my books. I have 3 years worth of textbooks on there,Please help, I went to the chat and the guy couldn't figure it out and sent me here. While I was here he logged off.

Je n'arrive plus à ouvrir ADE 4.5.7 depuis la dernière mise à jour de Windows 10 même après avoir désinstallé et réinstallé à plusieurs reprises. Quelqu'un aurait une solution?

I have cut and pasted this from another discussion, because I have the same question and this one still hasn't been answered. I used to have no problems with my kobo and borrowing from the library. Why won't it acknowledge my kobo with the rights to read the book on it when I have already have the book in ADE on my computer. Here is the original post:W@hen I attempt to transfer the book from the Adobe digital Editions site to my Kobo this message pops up.  CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book.  Anyone know what to do?  I've deauthorized and reauthorized a few times already but it hasn't made a difference.  I have tried downloading the newest version but it was the same one I already am using.  Adobe Digital Editions, it would be very helpful to have a contact number to talk to someone and work through the problem.  I've posted on here previously but didn't get any response.

Microsoft support did a remote diagnostic of my computer and found that Digital Additions was downloaded improperly and is preventing me from opening my ebook in the app

I try to de-authorise my MAC BOOK and this is not possible: I use the right ADOBE-account password (I set a new one to check), but I can't deactivate my computer.The reason why I'd like to deactivate it is a fix proposed by ADOBE when books can't be loaded: the instruction states that I should deactivate & authorize my computer again. Then the book should be ok to be loaded. But without being able to deactivate my MAC this is completely useless hint.Any tipp how to get rid of the authorisation of my MAC BOOK?

Hello! I have Adobe Digital Editions just installed. I have a link to the just bought book. On opening the link I've got a meesage to authorize my computer using Adobe ID. I've entered Adobe ID and password (both correct) and press Authorize button then got the messageI'm sure that the internet connection is available ( I can write this message).Please help to resolve this trouble.Thank you.

Just downloaded and read the Getting started 'book'. Then downloaded a book but the program just freezes and won't open the book. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, also ran Windows diagnostics all to no avail. Running Windows 10 on an MS Surface Pro.

Adobe digital edition is enabled on my computer but I cannot enable it on my Kobo. I tried about everything, including reinstalling ADE, restarting the computer, reinitializing the ereader. Help.Luc

When I open ADE Version 4.5.7.179634 a number of books show up.A remove some of them from library.Next time I start ADE these books show up again.This is annoying.What am I doing wrong?Peter Backlund
