My e-book file won't open . I really need it to study for a test !!!! I called adobe customer service. They accessed my computer remotely however they weren't able to help.

I am continuing to receive this error code when I try to open my book. I have read the other article relevant to this issue, which suggested de-authorizing and then re-authorizing my computer. However, when I attempt to de-authorize, I get another error message: "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time." I am using Adobe Digital Editions version 4.5, on a Macbook Air running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5Please advise.

Hi,I have been experiencing problems uploading books after many months without issues. The Kobo Customer Service went through different steps with me including updating my Adobe Digital Edition and removing the e-reader authorization and reactivating it. Still not working.They indicated that it might be an issue related to my Adobe ID. I tried getting answer from the Adobe support team, but they referred me to the Forum.Anything you can do to help? It seems that my Sony E-reader PRS-T1 doesn't recognise my ID anymore.Thanks in advance.MC

Hi,I needed to update my email address (Adobe ID) and have done this in the settings online for my account. However, I notice that in 'My Digital Editions' it is still linked to the old email address. Could you please help me with how I can update this? I am concerned that there may be issues with it now showing the incorrect Adobe ID and I do not want to lose my books.Thank you in advance.

How do tell if I have the most recent updates on my adobe digital edition?

When I start the program I get a message saying "ADE 3.0 has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution to this problem."I have resinstalled ADE3.0I have deleted the My digital editions folder.Still getting same message.It was working well last time I used it about a week ago.Any ideas?

Hi, i m using the digital editions 4.5 for reading the epub study text and i cannot change the size of the text - it is like super small and change panel doesnt work..does anyone know how to deal with that issue?..thanksIrina

Beste, ik krijg onderstaande melding op het moment dat ik mijn bij Adobe Ditigtal Editions mijn Kobo e-reader wil autoriseren. Er staat geen foutcode bij. Als ik op 'Opnieuw' klik, krijg ik dezelfde melding nog eens. I'm trying to authorise my Kobo e-reader at Adobe Digital Editions and this error appears: 'Error activationserver. Code: <there is no code>. Digital Editions detected an error on the activation server'. If I press 'Try again' the same pop up screen with the error appears.Please help me.

Depuis que j'ai changé d'adresse courriel, je suis incapable d'effacer l'autorisation reliée à mon ancienne adresse pour autoriser mon ordinateur avec ma nouvelle adresse courriel.  J'ai toujours le message « Error! Check activation » lorsque je tente de lire un ebook avec ADE.4.5.  Le service à la clientèle d'Adobe me conseille d'écrire aux membres du forum pour avoir la solution à mon problème.  Est-ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider svp?

Hi, I've been having troubles when opening a fixed layout epub on ADE in Windows. The epub was designed on MAc, and it doesn´t have problems when opening it on ibooks or ADE on Mac, but when is opened in ADE on Windows, some of the screens (not all) are scaled. I've checked the code, but it doesn`t have any issues.Hope you can help me.

I am new to adobe digital . By mistake I downloaded a book 4 times and was not aware I was being charged? the book come up in "Purchased"- there was no mention of the charge in the process and I never got to any checkout - just to the terms and conditions page for the publisher . I was operating through a university portal - what can I do about this - I am totally lost .i have no idea what I will be charged and obviously I want to make sure it is only once if i cant cancel the whole process.

Locked out of mobile access to ADE following firmware reset on Android OS.I have 2 mobile devices (Android OS), and have previously authorised these devices with Adobe. Over the lives of the devices, I have had to reset the firmware on each multiple times. Unfortunately, it seems that ADE treats the reset device as a new device, rather than the same. Each time I reauthorised my devices following a reset, I was inadvertently racking up my activation count with Adobe. I must have finally reached my limit, because I now get the error "E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS" when attempting to reauthorise. There is no workaround for temporary access on Android the way there is for Windows. And there is no way to deauthorise the redundancies on my end, because all of those "devices" effectively ceased to exist upon resetting the firmware.Please, can someone with Adobe help me to get my activation count reset?

Hi there,I am having a problem where I can't seem to transfer my library loans onto my Kobo (Kobo Glo HD) using Adobe Digital Editions. I am able to download the ebook from the library and it appears to work when I transfer it to my Kobo, but when I try to open the book I get a message saying, ""This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID. Please sing-in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again." My ADE says that it is authorized. I have tried logging out and logging back in. I have tried with different books from the library. What should I do?
