hiI have a problem with my books from google play store.I have two days trying to transfer from my pc to my reader. I have a mibuk insire....first i did was download a epub with mc and something more from google play store and then instale ade (adobe digital editions) and create a adobe acount and authorizade my computer. then i authorizade my reader, but when i tryed to transfer i had the mesage that was not allowed to do it.Today i talk with google play support and find out that i must use the same mail in both accounts, and these was different, so that could be the reason. So I created a new adobe identity with the same mail, but it didnt work.after i erazer computer, and now im trying to authoriza again my computer and i have all the time the error: E_AUTH_NOT_READY.Can someone help me???kind regardsBenny Fogelberg

Hi,everytime I try to copy a ebook (*.epub) to my PocketBook Touch Lux 2 the programms stopps in the copying-screen. The progress bar is still moving but nothing is happening (longest I waited was 30min). The cancel (German: "Abbrechen") button is not working and I have to exit ADE with the task manager.The same problme occures with the PocketBoot Touch and the Touch Lux 3.ADE Version: 4.5.2.151207

Hello,How can I know with which user I oppened the file the first time?I think (I don't remember) I firstly opened the file without a user account but I formatted the computer and now I can't open the resultant .pdf neither the .acsm file.Please help me to solve it or at least to check the user I used the first time.Thank you.

I am trying to download an ebook from a library (which uses Overdrive.)  I keep getting this error:  Error! Check Activation.  I can download a book from Adobe's sample ebook library, just not from my library.  Any ideas?

I have downloaded a book from the library but, it will not download from Adobe Digital Editions to my Kobo reader because the DRM license has expired. How do I renew this license?

I am trying to download a book (acsm file) from NetGalley into Adobe Digital Editions and I continue to get : "Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem  E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY  or PKCS12" I updated ADE to 4.5 and I've restarted my computer ( HP with Windows 10) but I still cannot get my two most recent books to download.The file downloads with no problems onto my Sony  laptop.

I buy some ebooks from Google Play and some from Kobo. They come as acsm files. My pc currently is set to open acsm files with Adobe Digital Editions, but it won't work with the books I bought from Kobo. Kobo Desktop opens those, but only if I manually choose this app with the "Open With" function. I can set the pc to Always open acsm files with Kobo Desktop, but then it won't open books bought elsewhere.1) why are these ebook acsm files only usable with specific apps2) Since I can't remember where I bought which book, is there a way to assign Kobo acsm files with Kobo Desktop and Google Play acsm files with Digital Editions?tia, Scott

Hello,Until recently I was able to download ebooks from the public library and open in digital editions.  Recently changes were made through the library's overdrive system and I could no longer open books in digital editions.  I was advised to update digital editions and de-authorize the old digital editions.  BUT my old adobe account is attached to an email account I can no longer access.  And I do not have the password for the  old adobe account which would allow me to de-authorize it.  I opened a new adobe account but this did not resolve the issue. 

I downloaded the Digital Editions apps to my iPhone and computer but I only see the books that I downloaded (from the sample eBook library) on my iPhone, not on my computer. Thus it seems that the app on my computer is not associated with my account, but I don't see a place to put in my account number. What to do?

I wanted to borrow a book form my local library. I got ADE (Adobe Digital Editions)  and logged into my Adobe ID and it accepted it and said that I can now download and switch what device it is on (I own a Kobo Aura) but when I tried to drag it to my kobo onscreen this message popped up:Errors Were DetectedThe following items could not be copied to your device.Number the Stars.epub CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book. But earlier it said I could and I was still singed in. What happened? I want to be able to use this Kobo with library book but at the moment there is a problem. Please help

I have been using Abode Digital Editions for months and last week it stopped working. I receive the error message below:I have verified I am connected to the internet (logged in the library). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it worked once as I was able to download one book, now I am unable to return it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times unsuccessfully. I am currently using Windows 7 with Adobe Digital Editions 3.0. I have tried installing versions 4.5 and 2.0.1 as well. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

One of my two books I downloaded says "Error License Blah Blah", so I read online to deauthorize and then re-do it! Ctrl + Shift + D doesn't work! How do I do it on my HP Pavilion?? Thanks!

Hi i'm a new user of e-books , and it could start better. Im trying to read the "getting started" book and a sample book "sherlock holmes" but i cant get it to turn pages... when i click the next page the indicator line at the bottom moves and says it's on next page but the previous page just stays up. IF i shift the view to full scren or the other way around teh new page shows up . Extremely annoying... Anyone got an idea of what this is about?/G

I can't download book from library site to digital editions on my computer, normally it asks me to open but now only choice I get is save. If I can get it to my computer I will download to my nook. I have downloaded newest version ade. This is new ,have been getting books for years no problem.

Zonder waarschuwing ben ik opeens de authorisatie kwijt op mijn pc en mijn KOBO reader.Ik heb eerst ADE (4.0) verwijderd, en daarna het register ontdaan van alle verwijzingen.Daarna de nieuwste ADE gedownload en alles opnieuw getracht te authoriseren.Niet dus, voor de KOBO reader de melding dat er een probleem was met de activatieserver, en voor de pc scheen die wel geauthoriseerd, maar bij het laden van een boek kreeg ik de melding dat er niet geactiveerd was.Alles weer eraf, register opgeschoond, en ADE 2.0 erop gezet.Zelfde probleem, ook bij ADE 3.0, dus nu een image van het besturingsyteem terugzetten naar een punt waarvan ik zeker was dat alles werkte.Zelfde probleem.Gisteren, dus 23 december 2016, contact opnemen met ADOBE, eerst naar de fora, waar ik via chat weer niets wijzer werd, want ze konden het probleem niet oplossen, alleen links vermelden waar dit misschien wel kon.Nu de link geprobeerd, en weer na chatten een link gekregen, en dat is hiernaar.Ik durf eigenlijk niet de

I have downloaded books from my library onto digital editions onto my mac. I am trying to sync with digital editions on my iphone, it is not working. I have used the same adobe id, and enabled automatic syncing. Any help is appreciated.

How can I change my adobe authorization. When I try change authorization it lists an address from an old computer and ask for a password.The problem is  I cant remember the password and toactivate for a new password it will send it to tho old address which is not used by us and goes nowhere

When I try to download a book I get:Unable to download.Error getting license.Server communication problem: E-adept-request-expired.The books are legal purchases and Adobe has me logged in/authorised.

I am trying to open a book in adobe digital editions.  A window comes up with the message " Error getting License. License Serve Communication Problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY"  It will not allow me to erase the authorization.  It tells me to try again later.  Is this because Adobe's server are down or having maintenance performed?  Any other suggestions to get this book to open?
