Dear All,I need help - I have download on my I pad the software, activated it and now would like to connect and transfer my Ebooks from PC and the ADE Software to my I Pad.My normal Ebook Reader is shown up and it worksThe I Pad not -I doesnt show up and so a transfer isn´t workable WHat Can I do ? I can't open any books on my ereader. I get a message saying that the document is protected by Adobe DRM and is not currently authorized for use with my Adobe ID.

I keep getting the e_adept_xml_syntax error on four out of every five books I try to download from the same source (EBSCO). I run a Macbook Pro (Sierra 10.12.1), and have tried all the solutions suggested for this error that I can find (restart, reinstall, de- and reauthorize, etc.) but so far nothing has helped at all. It's particularly frustrating as some of the books from the same source work perfectly fine. Any suggestions?

Getting This error messag when trying to open Netgalley review books on Adobe Digital. Full messageError getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_CONNECTION_PROBLEMI seem to be getting this message on Bluefire Reader as well and OverDrive reader app. never had it before and confused. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciate.

After installing this App on my Mac Air, I connected and authorized my Nook touch, but the programme sees only the ereader and not the SD memory, whilst both are recognized by the computer on the desktop. With another PC Windows al old version of ADE 2.0 sees Nook and Nook SD. Can anyone help Me? Thanks

I can download the ebook on my computer, but when I tried to download it on my ipad or iphone, this error just kept showing up. How can I solve it? I tried to delet the app and file both on PC or ipad, but it just didn't work!!! I need my book to finish my assignment!!!!!

I recently bought an E book and can open it with Adobe Digital Editions on my computer.I cannot open the an e book on my blackberry classic and cannot get Adobe Digital Editions to work.Is there any special app or program to download?ThanksErik

I downloaded a ebook from my local library to Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.  I was able to load on to my Kobo ereader, however I am unable to open it.  I receive the following message "This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID.  Please sign in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again".  I have tried deauthorizing my device and reauthorizing it several times.  I have tried removing and readding several times.  Nothing works.  Please help!

I'm trying to authorize Adobe Digital Editions on my computer but it won't let me. Getting very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?

I recently bought an E-book for studies and the Adobe Digital Editions system is driving me crazy.The problems are as follows:1) it is painfully slow;2) it only scrolls one 'notch' at a time, so you it takes about a minute to scroll back up 2 pages and3) after having been active on it for approximately 10 minutes, it simply stops working. I then have to force-quit it and my notes and highligts then disappear.There is no way I can get through a semester with this.What can I do to fix it?

I have had digital editions for 3 weeks and downloaded a school text book for a class.  Yesterday it would not open.  I tried right clicking and did run ad administrator still wouldn't open. I unistalled it, and then reinstalled it still won't open.

When I am trying to copy books from a sony ereader to PC I get the following message:Unexpected error occurs:E_IO_cannot open.What does it mean and how can I fix it so I can copy books to another reading device.

Very frustrated user here, fresh from a chat help that only directed me to go to this forum.  Hopefully someone can help.I've purchased the same building code book 3 different times at $100 / each because we had to have immediate access to answer a question.  All 3 purchased have been on my same email and same credit card and to the same computer.  These books open in a "Digital Editions" application.  I purchased these from IAPMO who regulates the sales of Uniform Building Codes.  They provide NO assistance for any e-book related matter.I've verified that I'm logged into my ADOBE account with username and password.  The ebook digital edition shows all three copied of the same book on the bookshelf.  If I try to click to open one, I get a pop up screen that says I must authorize the computer to access.  So I enter the same username and log in and I get an error message that the vendor account is not associated with the item I'm trying to open.Hel

Been trying to download an epub from the library to ADE then to my Nook on ADE 4.5.2 on Windows 10 but each time i get [Error getting license....]  I've seen others have had the same problem only with older versions of both ADE and Windows and I tried restarting the program, deleting and re-downloading the file but no luck so far.  Please help!  Thanks in advance

Hey guys! how's everyone doing?I'm having trouble right now with ADE 3.0.  Everytime that I go to open it, my computer (running windows 😎 gives me the message in the title and does not open the program.  I've tried to fix the problem myself by uninstalling and reinstalling the program as well as by running the program as admin, but neither of those worked.  The books that I have are saved to my computer as opposed to my account so I can't just run the program on another device.I have two textbooks for this semester saved on there, so any help at all that you can provide to get my ADE back up and running would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,Brandon

I'm having issues with adobe digital editions. I need to install 3.0 and it's not happening! I uninstalled 4.5 and tried to install 3.0 as my Kobo reader needs 3.0.Help!

We have created an ebook using Indesign, and created an animated table of contents with links to pages within the document. When we use the pop up table of contents it jumps to the correct page, but the page size shrinks. ??? Why would this be? How can I resolve it? See screenshots belowIt's weird, cause the ebook jumps to the right page in the view, but not in the reader itself... the image/view shows page 7 but the ebook reader shows page 3. Hello,For some reason ADE Version 4.5.2 does not recognize my Ereader (Kobo Aura , May 2015) anymore.The last time that I put books on it in July there was not a problem.I have been in contact with Kobo. They informed to deautorise the Ereader (with ctrl + shift +E) and than install version 3.0 again.I have tried everything but it did not work. ADE does not give a reaction on the ctrl+shift+E.Now I have deleted version 4.5.2 and installed 3.0 again to try again the deautorisation.This did not work either. ADE is still not recognizing my Ereader or doing something at all.I have not had this problem before and have no idea what to do next. Kobo informed me to get in touch with ADE to find a solution.The strange thing is that my laptop (windows) is also telling me that it is a station that it does not recognize.Anyone who has an idea to solve this situation?Thanks,C.

Hello.  I have Windows 10 and Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.2.  I am trying to download epub books from my library and put it on my Nook to read.  When I download the file, I can see the book in Digital Editions, but it doesn't let me click on it and the File, Library, and Help are all greyed out.  I can't even click the X to close the window, I can only close it by going to Task Manager.  Please help. 

Hello.  Am trying to Launch Adobe Digital Editions.  I have Windows 7 operating system.  I entered my Adobe ID & password and got:  "An error has been detected.  "Activation Server error code: E_AUTH_NOT_READY Digital Editions encountered an error on the activation server"

I've downloaded the most current version of adobe digital editions.  I'm able to open and load books from the library onto the digital editions, but when I try to move to Nook  Adobe digital editions shuts down unexpectedly.   I have uninstalled and downloaded three different times with no help.  Any ideas. 

Hi! I've been talking to a chat representative that said that she can't help me. She asked that I ask here.So I need to have my account activation count reset or remove all authorization. It's really important as the ebook I'm using is for my job and the activation count got maxed out since I've got some trouble with my computer. Can someone help me about that ? Thank you!
