Digital Editions

Mein Laptop hat eine neue Festplatte bekommen. Nun kann ich nicht mehr meine alte Anmeldung für ADE benutzen. Mit der neuen ID kann ich aber meine gekauften und in der Cloud gespeicherten Bücher nicht mehr öffnen.Leider sind alle Ausführungen zu dem Thema in Englisch und da fehlen mir die Fachkenntnisse. Was ich verstanden habe löst mein Prolem aber auch nicht. Wie kann ich Zugriff auf meinen alten Account bekommen? Danke im Voraus[ Moderator: This was posted in a non-product forum. Hello, I am a publisher and I would like to protect my ebooks (EPUB) with DRM.Can you help me?I find only information on how to remove the DRM but not on how to insert it. Thanks!

I am running the latest ADE Windows version 4.5.11.187303 on a Windows 8.1 desktop,and it cannot read an epub file.The book shows up in the library, but will not open. The file works fine in Calibre, so it is clearly another ADE problem.  

Hi there, I have an old but funcitoning Sony e-book reader PRS-T1 which is not getting recognised by ADE, hence I cannot read any DRM protected ebook (so basically every ebook!). Any solution on how to read ebooks on my e-reader? Thanks

When I try to open an ebup-file i get the error message E_ACT_NOT_READY. When I try to deauthorizase I get the answer "Unable to Erase Authrization.Please try after some time". When I go to the folder Library/Application/Support/Adobe/Digital Editions there is no activation data file there. So now I can't use my Adlibris Letto e-book reader

Hi guys!I recently installed ADE on my Windows 10 Pro (clicked "run as admin" when installing) but whenever I try to open the ACSM file downloaded from EBSCOhost the software gives me this message and won't open the file.Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Hi, since I installed Digital Editions (and I just desinstall and reinstall it), there's constant bug and shut down problem. After a certain time of reading and scrolling down... as soon as I press right clic (in order to highlight sometnig) it freezes and shut down. Any solution? Thank  you

Hi, I am trying to log in to my account on Adobe Digital Editions and I keep getting the E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS error. I contacted support through the chat service but they were unable to help me and asked me to contact you here in the forums. How can my activation count be reset please?

Every time I try to open an eBook, I received the error:Connection Error DetectedDigital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet.I am able to open the same eBooks on my computer.I tried downloading and opening multiple eBooks, and receive the same error on all of them.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the iOS app.I have verified I am connected to the internet.

I have installed Digital Editions on my mac and logged in with my ID.I have then installed Digital Editions on my Ipad using the same ID. The problem is that the files that are present on my Mac, I can't see them on the iPad. What can I do? Thank you 

Hello everyone, I am trying to authorize my Adobe Digital Editions on my mobile device by using Copia as the eBook vendor and it comes up with an error code stating E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS. And am just wondering how I will go about being able to authorize my mobile device.

I want to use my iPad to read a library book I borrowed in Digital Editions, out loud.When I swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to activate iOS's Read Out Loud feature, all it reads is the page number.Can anyone help please?This is on iPadOS 14.4.2 with Digital Editions 4.5.11.2

Does  Digital Editions version 4.5.11 work properly with Windows 11 and how it processes DRM and Adobe ID's  when the books are downloaded/transferred ?  A transferred  library book onto my KOBO Clara HD keeps giving me an DRM error when I use Digitial Editions version 4.5.11  on my new Windows 11 laptop.    My Adobe ID  is the same on Digitial editions on my laptop and on my Kobo  but I keep getting a message that says that I have a DRM problem  with the library book once it is loaded onto my Kobo.   I have a Kobo Clara HD.   I have uninstalled and reinstalled Digitial editions many times,  reset my authorizations many times  and restarted my laptop many times and I still receive the same error.    I have no problems when I download library books to the Overdrive App and the Overdrive App uses the same Adobe ID.      I have had the same Adobe ID for many ye

Good dayI have downloaded two books,  for study puproses, had it on my laptop, used the one, when wanting to open the second book,the it was just a cover and the word missing.  I have downloaded multiple copies on my laptop, but don't know how to open my books from my laptop with Adobe digital edition, and it is not found on the app itself. I thought by deleting the "missing books" I would be able to reopen it from my laptop, now I cant even find the deleted items, Please assist.  Thank you

I purchased an eBook back in 2016 which can only be read using Adobe Digital Editions. I opened it today only to find that the book is "missing". The thumbnail is there, but it has "missing" at the top. I use a Mac. Has anyone encountered this issue? If so, how did you resolve the issue? Thanks.

Bonjour, depuis aujourd'hui, je rencontre des difficultés dans l'ajout d'ebook sur ma kobo.J'emprunte des ebooks auprès de ma bibliothèque municipale, et jusque-là, l'autorisation DRM fonctionnait correctement.Depuis aujourd'hui, quand j'essaie de lire les ebooks, il est affichés : ce livre est protégé par DMR? Ayant désautorisé votre liseuse précedemment vous devez le réimporter en utilisant ADE.J'ai effectué l'opération plusieurs fois. J'ai désinstallé ADE de mon mac, enlevé et remis les ebooks, pareil pour l'autorisation. J'ai même rebooter ma liseuse. Rien ne fonctionne.je me retrouve maintenant avec 4 fois le même livre dans ADE, même en les supprimant, ils reviennent dès que je réouvre le logiciel.Quelqu'un aurait-il été dans la même situation et trouvé une solution?  Merci par avance

The adobe digital editions app creates a hell for the reader while trying to scroll due to a greatly long reaction time. The old posts for this issue have been inactive for more than half a year and a new Version of the app seems to have come. Has a workaround been discovered, and do experts now show enough care to give a reply to this problem themselves?      

I am having a number of problems with Digital Editions, and I have tried the chat options numerous times but no one seems to be able to help me. I cannot express how disappointed I am with Adobe. I have an ebook that I paid a lot of money for and I need to access it for work, but when I try to download the e-book I get the error message E_ACT_NOT_READY. This has been happening for weeks. For 2 weeks I have been trying to solve this problem. Can somebody please help me or give me a phone number to call to reach adobe? I am desperate at this point.

Hola, en mi tablet tengo instalado adobe digital editions, donde compro libros y los descargo en adobe para poder pasarlos a mi ebook. Hace poco compré un ordenador nuevo, donde intalé de nuevo Adobe digital editions, lo he autorizado con mi usuario y contraseña y aun asi no me deja abrir el ultimo libro que me compré, pero desde mi tablet donde tambien lo tengo instalado tampoco me deja ni abrirlo, ni pasarlo al ebook, ¿Que puedo hacer? he preguntado en la tienda donde compre el libro electronico, pero me dice que es una incidendia de adobe... espero una respuesta y gracias 

 Bonjour,Il y a 1 semaine, j'étais en mesure d'emprunter des livres à la bibliothèque sans problème et de les transférer sur ma liseuse avec adobe digital edition. Depuis 1 semaine, je ne suis plus en mesure de transférer les livres, un message m'apparait en lien avec l'autorisation de ma liseuse Kobo Forma. Toutefois, l'autorisation est bien donnée. J'ai tenté tel qu'indiqué votre site de retirer tous les autorisations et de les remettre. J'ai effacé tous les copies des livres du mon ordinateur et de ma liseuse, J'ai aussi retourné le livre à la bibliothèque et j'ai désinstallé l'application ADE. Je me suis aussi assurée que ma liseuse était à jour.Une fois le tout effectué, j'ai réinstallé ADE, j'ai réouvert ma session, réautoriser mon ordinateur et ma liseuse. J'ai réemprunté mon livre à la bibliothèque, je l'ai téléchargé, je l'ai remis dans ma liseuse via ADE. Mais rien à faire, le même message m'apparait et je ne peux pas lire mon livre sur ma liseuse. Je ne sais plus quoi f

I installed the latest edition for Windows and after authenticating my account etc and trouble with firewalls managed to download one book from the library. Next day nothing is working. Using Chrome browser and Surface Go tablet with Windows 11. thanks

How do you deactivate or reset licenses on digital edition. The computer is no longer available.

Buenos días, tengo dos libros descargados en la app, quiero leerlos pero encuentro que tiene páginas incompletas o las letras se hacen borrosas imposibilitando su lectura, esto no ha pasado antes dado que casi tengo 1 año descargado estos libros. Dejo una imagen de cómo se produce el error.Espero alguien pueda ayudarme dado que ya reinstale la app y nada. De antemano, muchas gracias.
