Digital Editions

I purchased an eBook back in 2016 which can only be read using Adobe Digital Editions. I opened it today only to find that the book is "missing". The thumbnail is there, but it has "missing" at the top. I use a Mac. Has anyone encountered this issue? If so, how did you resolve the issue? Thanks.

Can I get adobe digital editions 1.7.1 for MAC pc running leopard 10.5.8. Version 2.0 will only work with intel MACs

Bonjour, depuis aujourd'hui, je rencontre des difficultés dans l'ajout d'ebook sur ma kobo.J'emprunte des ebooks auprès de ma bibliothèque municipale, et jusque-là, l'autorisation DRM fonctionnait correctement.Depuis aujourd'hui, quand j'essaie de lire les ebooks, il est affichés : ce livre est protégé par DMR? Ayant désautorisé votre liseuse précedemment vous devez le réimporter en utilisant ADE.J'ai effectué l'opération plusieurs fois. J'ai désinstallé ADE de mon mac, enlevé et remis les ebooks, pareil pour l'autorisation. J'ai même rebooter ma liseuse. Rien ne fonctionne.je me retrouve maintenant avec 4 fois le même livre dans ADE, même en les supprimant, ils reviennent dès que je réouvre le logiciel.Quelqu'un aurait-il été dans la même situation et trouvé une solution?  Merci par avance

The adobe digital editions app creates a hell for the reader while trying to scroll due to a greatly long reaction time. The old posts for this issue have been inactive for more than half a year and a new Version of the app seems to have come. Has a workaround been discovered, and do experts now show enough care to give a reply to this problem themselves?      

I am having a number of problems with Digital Editions, and I have tried the chat options numerous times but no one seems to be able to help me. I cannot express how disappointed I am with Adobe. I have an ebook that I paid a lot of money for and I need to access it for work, but when I try to download the e-book I get the error message E_ACT_NOT_READY. The forums say I need to deauthorise my account, but when I try to erase authorization I get the message "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time." This has been happening for weeks. For 2 weeks I have been trying to solve this problem. Can somebody please help me or give me a phone number to call to reach adobe? I am desperate at this point.

Hola, en mi tablet tengo instalado adobe digital editions, donde compro libros y los descargo en adobe para poder pasarlos a mi ebook. Hace poco compré un ordenador nuevo, donde intalé de nuevo Adobe digital editions, lo he autorizado con mi usuario y contraseña y aun asi no me deja abrir el ultimo libro que me compré, pero desde mi tablet donde tambien lo tengo instalado tampoco me deja ni abrirlo, ni pasarlo al ebook, ¿Que puedo hacer? he preguntado en la tienda donde compre el libro electronico, pero me dice que es una incidendia de adobe... espero una respuesta y gracias 

 Bonjour,Il y a 1 semaine, j'étais en mesure d'emprunter des livres à la bibliothèque sans problème et de les transférer sur ma liseuse avec adobe digital edition. Depuis 1 semaine, je ne suis plus en mesure de transférer les livres, un message m'apparait en lien avec l'autorisation de ma liseuse Kobo Forma. Toutefois, l'autorisation est bien donnée. J'ai tenté tel qu'indiqué votre site de retirer tous les autorisations et de les remettre. J'ai effacé tous les copies des livres du mon ordinateur et de ma liseuse, J'ai aussi retourné le livre à la bibliothèque et j'ai désinstallé l'application ADE. Je me suis aussi assurée que ma liseuse était à jour.Une fois le tout effectué, j'ai réinstallé ADE, j'ai réouvert ma session, réautoriser mon ordinateur et ma liseuse. J'ai réemprunté mon livre à la bibliothèque, je l'ai téléchargé, je l'ai remis dans ma liseuse via ADE. Mais rien à faire, le même message m'apparait et je ne peux pas lire mon livre sur ma liseuse. Je ne sais plus quoi f

I installed the latest edition for Windows and after authenticating my account etc and trouble with firewalls managed to download one book from the library. Next day nothing is working. Using Chrome browser and Surface Go tablet with Windows 11. thanks

How do you deactivate or reset licenses on digital edition. The computer is no longer available.

Buenos días, tengo dos libros descargados en la app, quiero leerlos pero encuentro que tiene páginas incompletas o las letras se hacen borrosas imposibilitando su lectura, esto no ha pasado antes dado que casi tengo 1 año descargado estos libros. Dejo una imagen de cómo se produce el error.Espero alguien pueda ayudarme dado que ya reinstale la app y nada. De antemano, muchas gracias. 

I'm trying to download ADE 3.0 form my mac since my ebook reader only works with that version. Everyone points to here to get it:  https://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html At the bottom of the page is this:  Download Digital Edition 3.0 here.  The "here" is a link but when clicked, it leads to here: https://helpx.adobe.com/support/digital-editions.html, This is a support page with no download files.  Tried this on several browsers and get the same problem.

I have bought a new computer, running macOS Sierra 10.12.3 Why do i have to authorise adobe digital editions every single time I launch it on this computer?Once authorised, it works ok. But if I close it and reopen, I have to authorise it again. It is very tediousADE 3.0.86137

How can I re-authorize my computer to alow me to transfer my EPUB books to my reader?  I tryed several times and in so many words it says I cannot do it with my email and pass word.  Bob

im trying to authorize my computer for it to be able to use my digital editions, i need this because i downloaded a book without doing it first and because of that i can get the book to work on my other divices because the licensing only allows me to download it once. when i try to authorize my computer i get a message that says (you can only authorize this device with an adobe ID that hasnt been previously used to authorize any other equipment or mobile device) or something along that line (i translated it from spanish). im only logged in in 2 other devices with my adobe ID, I read you can be on 6 devices at the same time.

Hi,Other epub reading apps for mobile or desktop shows epub book correctly and media overlay works. On ADE only text is shown, no media.I have an epub book with mp3 files wich are syncronized with a text for read aloud feature. Some of my book with media overlay works on ADE, but there is one particular which does not play media overlay. I was looking for errors on epubcheck but found nothing. Also I was checking the XML code thouroughly and still found no errors. I hope somebody can check my epub file and let me know what the problem is.

i have been using adobe digital additions to download library books and then transfer to my kobo e reader which has been successful until recently when my kobo is saying it is not authorized. the computer is authorized. does anyone know how to fix this please?

I have downloaded some ebooks from my local librarys borrowbox and have uploaded them to my digital editions account to use on my kobo e-reader. I want to delete those ebooks from my account so I can return the ebooks to my library but when I plug in my ereader, the ebooks dont appear. Please can someone advise what I should do? I have uninstalled digital editions and reinstalled it and also i have reauthorised it, nothing has worked so far. Thanks

4 Tage vor der Prüfung.Adobe Digital für Android.Alle meine Studienhefte darauf gespeichert.Aus Versehen die digitale ID Adobe mit einer alten ( nicht mehr funktionalen Email Adresse gelöscht!)Und jetzt kein Zugriff mehr auf die Studienhefte.Fehlermeldung: Für anderen Nutzer autorisiert.Ich breche ab.Ich benötige dringend wieder Zugriff bzw. Neudownload meiner Hefte. Nichts geht mehr. Selbst bei neuem Download kann ich nicht öffnen.Bitte um Hilfe Danke!

i installed ADE to two computors using the same adobe accout and now only one of the apps will open and download correctly. any ideas

bonjourSuite à une panne d ordi,il est indique que mon ordi beneficie d une autorisation sans ID impossible  impossible d'autoriser la liseuse de consulter ou annuler les autorisations, voici le message qui s affiche quand je rentre le mot de passe ID adobe :vous pouvez accorder une autorisation a cet ordinateur a condition de ne pas utiliser un id adobe deja alloue à un autre ordinateur ou peripherique mobileSur le compte adobe pas d autre perif, j ai change le mot de passe rien a faire...du coup impossible de lire des livres empruntes a la bibliotheque car protegé par DRM et impossible d autoriser la liseuse qq un a un tuyau?Merci

Hello, I re-installed Windows and can't activate Digital Adobe editions any longer. The error I'm getting is "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" I cannot read any books I bought because of this. Is there anything I could do to prove that it is me who uses Adobe digital? It is the same PC that will see this maintenance carried out 2-3 monthly, Will I have to go through this again next month? Thank you
