Can anyone tell me what error code E_ADEPT_VENDORD_HTTPERR means?Thank you in advance!

Hello, To use the digital books from my municipal library, I need to have ADE version 3.0 maximum, but my mac is under OS BigSur and when I install ADE 3.0 on it, I get a message when I open it error asking me to update my version of ADE. Do you have a solution for me? 

I have the app downloading and I have authorized my computer so now I'm trying to downlaod my eBooks. I'm watching a tutorial and on his screen, he has options in the top left corner like 'file' 'edit' 'view' 'help', I don't. I only have 'file' 'library' and 'help', that's it. Does anyone know why? In the tutorial, it says to use the link provided on my AVID account and search it on the app however I can't do this, at least not the way he does it in the tutorial. 

This is the worst program I have ever seen from Adobe. It does not deserve to be own or have Adobe's name associated with it in anyway. It provies zero to little function and is the WORST ereader program I have ever used. It is not user friendly. Digital Editions is more of a hinderance than help. I would never recommend this to any one even if I was paid to. Digital Editions provide very little functino other than taking up space.

I have a library of books my students use online. I want to be able to generate Adobe Digital edition files that the students can download, which have a time limit, say 21 days, after which the file expires.I have made a half dozen calls, but Adobe seems to have no idea of how to do this. Anyone here can help?There are a million pieces about reading the files, but none about creating them.

Hi,Purchased ePUB book shows correctly, but when I get table that is longer than a page I cannot see bottom of it. One or to lines are hidden under the bottom control panel with arrows.

I have just spend over an hour trying to get a library ePub onto my Kobo through Adobe Digital Editions 4.5. When I went to open the book on my eReader, it kept giving me a DRM error that my device has been previously un-authorized and I would have to re-download the book through ADE. I tried everything. I tried removing and re-adding. I tried de-authorizing and authorizing. I tried deleting all the files and re-downloading from the library. I even tried cancelling my loan and re-borrowing the book.What was odd was that every time I tried removing and re-downloading the book to ADE, it would still display the old files. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE, deleting all files in the process, and those pesky library items STILL refused to go away.In the end, I downgraded ADE 3.0 (holy cow, Adobe, your page for archived downloads is SKETCHY - I had to override a security notice from my browser warning me against downloading software from your supposedly official website that looked

I just borrowed books and tried to sideload them onto my nook. I followed all of the instructions, only to get the error message "Loan token update failed. Please turn on Wi-Fi and connect to a network to continue." I am connected to Wi-Fi. Reached out to Adobe, got punted over to B&N. Reached out to B&N, got punted back to Adobe, only to be told that there is no customer support because it's an end of life product. Would've been nice if someone had mentioned that when I first reached out. Has anyone had any success at all in resolving this issue?

Ich benutze jetzt einen Tolino eBook Reader und eine DRM mit einer neuen eMail Adresse. Alle Bücher funktinieren auf dem neuesten Tolino, nur meine ersten 2 Bücher kann ich mit meiner derzeitigen DRM nicht mehr lesen und da ich meine alte eMail Adresse nicht mehr besitze und mein erstes Passwort nicht mehr kenne, kann ich die DRM für diese 2 Bücher nicht einrichten. Was kann ich tun?

Hola,Estoy intentando descargarme un libro electrónico y me está siendo imposible. Cada vez que abro con ADE el archivo acsm me sale el error E_ADEPT_REQUEST.  He desautorizado y autorizado de nuevo, he visto el tema del horario y todo el rato sale el mismo error.Al abrir el archivo con Reader for PC, me pide el Adobe ID y contraseña, la pongo y me dice que está bien autorizado. I think I need to open a Web Case but can't find the link to do it. I had Adobe Digital Editions installed as I use it to borrow library ebooks but last week my computer crashed and I had to reinstall Windows. There was a book downloaded into bookshelf on ADE at the time of the crash.I reinstalled ADE and set up to Authorize using my google account,but when I try to return that book I get an error "document is licensed for a different user account". The book cover has a red exclamation mark on it. It doesn't tell me the user account that it is tied to. So I think I must have used a different email address (not the google one) when I originally set up ADE. I tried going to the adobe website and locating accounts for another 2 email addresses that I might have used, in order to try and recover the password but it can't find an account associated with either.I've also tried erasing authorisation and returning the book - same error.So I am stuck, unable to return the book. Hi I just purchased a publication, downloaded ADE, and the message I get is E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED when I try to open the file. Can you help please?   

I'm about 500 or so pages into a book and I've been doing a lot of highlighting each time that I read. Until today everything has been fine. After several hours of reading today, Adobe Digital Editions just shut down. When I reopened Digital Editons all of my highlighting from today was lost. I did a search on the internet and was told that all of this highlighting should be automatically saved. I could find no way to retrieve my lost work so I went back through the text re-highlighting and reading even more text. You guessed it - DE crapped out again and I lost everything from today. So for the second time today I'm back to where I was yesterday. Most importantly, is there any way for me to retrieve all of this work without going back through all of this text again? Secondly what is causing this unexpected termination? Is my DE now corrupt? BTW, I am using version 4.5.11. Thirdly, if not corrupt, should I be closing and reopening DE every 20 mintues so I don't lose so m
