Dimension

I have an Adobe subscription and downloaded Dimensions. It says that it should work on this computer, but when I open the program and try to create a new document, it just thinks and stops responding, no matter what I click. Can anyone help me please?

I've designed and built several labels in Illustrator. When I add them onto my bag as a decal, they seem to be blurry. Even when rendering them in HIGH resolution as a PSD they are still blurry. I know I can export each one of the .AI files as a .PNG and to solve the issue but that seems like a long workaround. Does anyone know why .AI files are blurry when applied as decals in Dimension? I tried to post a sample file here but kept getting this error …so here's a link to the sample file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jcqfkl09lqzhxvk/Bag%20Test.dn?dl=0

I can't open Adobe Dimension. As I open it i have a note saying to buy the Dimension license. The problem is that I already did it. I can use all the otheres adobes apps very weel, but with dimensio I'am having problems.  

I've installed Dimensions and all I get is a grey screen. The program will load for a second and then it goes blank. I can't even close the application. I have to open Task Manager to close the application. I've tried running the application as administrator, that doesn't work. I've updated all the display drivers and that didn't work. I've also tried low-saving energy and different modes for the display and it still won't load.  I have a Dell XPS 8920 (2017) tower running on Windows 10

Since two weeks ago, my Adobe Dimention stopped working, I tried installing the older version (3.3) and it worked for a couple of days and stopped working again. 

I have been trying to make a toy using Dimension but the moment I try to place a decal on one face of the form , it automatically starts showing on the inside of the hollow form too. I have no idea how to rectify this. Could someone pleas help me with troubleshooting the same.

Hello, I have just started using adobe dimension and all of the renders have come out blurry. Whenever I render something i have made, I do have previe activated and I have chosen the view that I want. Also I always choose the high quality option. Could someone help me and let me know what I am doing wrong?Thank you. 

Hi, I have a model which has been worked on in Zbrush (image attached) I cant seem to get it to load in Dimensions, its just getting stuck at 50% and i have to then force quit the application. Any idea what i can do? Thanks 

Alright so this maybe my novice 3D modeling skills, poor comunication between two programs, or any number of other factors... but I've been scracting my head over this for a while now and the community here is rather good about solving, or at least explaining whats happening, so thank you in advance to anyone who can help me! I have created a model in blender 2.81 with no modifiers, no subdivisions, no shade smooth properties, just a model at the bare bones... now this may seem familar to some who have helped me in the past because it is a similar bottle that I did take all the way across the finish line and it looked great but I have stripped it back to the bare minimum to try and solve an underlying issue. I am having trouble understanding the distortion I am seeing at the neck of the bottle with decal placement (reguardless of scale). It makes no sense to me when every other portion of the decal responds perfectly to the bottles curves. Again thank you in advance to anyone

I've downloaded several of the vinyl record templates from the Adobe Stock site. I started placing graphics on the objects, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting the label part of the record to look right. I'm talking about the center of the record itself which is a circle with a small circle cut out of it. Any image I try to place here is heavily distorted, almost like it's being placed on some kind of distorted glass object. I just need the image to appear flat and with just the usual scaling. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or need to change.

Ok, so here's my dilemma. I've done several 3D models in this program, but in the last couple of months Dimension has been running incredibly slow. Lagging is an understatment. Now it chooses to work when it wants. Especially when importing OBJ files to do custom model work. Is my computer just not capable in handling this program?? It just drives me nuts that i've been using this program most all 2020, and just started slowly working worse and worse till it just doesnt respond anymore.

Hi everyone, I haven't been able to open the app in a couple of days now. when i try to open the app, i get this message: a problem caused the application to not work properly.This problem usually lasts for days, the app then works for a copuple of days, and eventually stops working again.I have a Macbook pro 16 inch.

Hi people. I have something that makes me curious and perhaps you could clarify this fact for me.I have noticed that when I look for the ranking of the most used or most popular 3D programs I have not seen until now (I speak in my case) that mention Adobe's Dimension; generally the usual softwares are listed: 3ds max, AuotCAD, Zbrush, Blender, Maya, etc. What is the reason for this?(I repeat that maybe if it is mentioned but I have not seen it). Thanks........and happy new year...

Hi, I am trying to use the base color property to insert an image to create a new material in Dimension. However, the image is getting stretched in some areas when the model is a bit more complex than just a cube. I get the same issue when I use the built-in materials. See below:  This is my model: This is how it looks when applying a base color image: This bug has been annoying me for years now, am I missing something, or is this just how it is currently?  I use macOS and Dimension 3.4. 

Hey,I'm working on a model in Adobe Dn. the model I built in a 3D program and exported it to Adobe Dn for placing the materials lightning, etc.I rendered the model to PSD 32 bit, and the screen fitted the canvas. The render came out very blurred in both dimensions and photoshop which looks worse.  Has anyone come across this problem? Please help me to solve it🙏

Hi everyone,I'm reaching out to you as I cannot seem to find an answer in any of the tutorials I have watched so far and I'm not able to do it by myself in Dimension. What I'm trying to achieve is to have a cylinder on the scene that is translucent and 'fading out' towards top, similar to how it would look if you placed an opacity gradient mask in Photoshop.Is this even possible to be done in Dimension?I tried creating a png in Photoshop that fades to transparent and then add it as an image in Dimension, but it still shows the upper edges of the cylinder.I was also trying to add a black to white gradient in translucence section like I would use a mask in PS, but it does not seem to be working 😕😕I'm using Dimension to export the objects to Aero and I'd like to have a 'spot' on the floor that you could walk into but the one that you could see through and would not give you the feeling of walking into a glass column  (that's why I need to use fadeout effect).Any

I have tried to save a simple rendering of a supplement bottle, which I purchased the object on Adobe Stock and first it renders in lo quality (1024 px at 72 dpi) my client needs this to be high resolution. I have tried changing the canvas to 5000 pixels and that took over 15 hours to render and I had to stop it. then tried for 3000 pixels and after 1.5 hours I had to also stop it because it showed that it was going to take probably a whole day to do and that is undoable.What do you guys suggest???It seems like a great product for low res images and we are all designers so we obviously need high resolution results.I would love some feedback please

I would like to put a picture of a 3D puzzle in Adobe Dimension, but the picture is placed only on one of the pieces. When I move a photo, it is positioned in only one of the pieces, not to all pieces. It would be good if the program has an option "fit to object" or "powerclip - place inside frame"...I'm sending screnshots, and if you want to try and help me, i'm sending the work file of puzzle - DOWNLOAD Thanks in advice! 

We are happy to announce the release of Dimension 3.4.1.    The update includes fixes for some user reported bugs & an update to the application icon for macOS.    To update Dimension to 3.4.1, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Dimension.   More detailed instructions for updating 

I would like to try the community before I am doing drastic measures like full CC clean up The situation is like this:One day I started Dimension and couldn't pass this screen"Create New" "Open" and "Close window" buttons make the window stuck and force the end-task to close. One thing that grabs my attention is that it never gets to the situation where the top menu appears so I guess that's where the loading stuck and can get through. OS: Win10GPU: Quadro P600Memory: 32G DDR3 What I tried:Uninstall / Reinstall several times, different langs different locationsUninstal / reinstall / log-out / log-in CC appUpdate windowsUninstall NVIDIA reinstall clean with updated driverInstall two older version same issue What made it work:Create a new local user install it under the new user - Dimension loads and looks like it is working, didn't have time to work on it to confirm real-life working but it seems fine.Installing a really old version worked fine on the original user,

Hi !I just purchased basic 3d object from the seller.the final product with the original object file is fully textured with wood, leaf, steel with various type of texture files with various shape of objects.But when I opened it with dimension, I can only load without any textures but only grey surface.I know this is very elementary question but I really coud not solve this issue for three hours.. Your one sentence answer will save me... 🙂 Thanks for reading it!

Hi, I'm having a problem with a 3D object imported in Dimension.I have modelled a very simple paper bag with a plastic window in Form Z(3D software).The bag is hollow and there is a hole(in the bag itself) where the plastic window is. But the problem is when importing the object-file into Dimension. Somehow the hole is filled.If I make the bag in glass material, I can see that there are "lines" where the hole should be, but the space is filled. Is there anyone who has come across the same problem or that could think of a solution to this?All help is much appreciated!  Other information:Adobe Product: Dimension 3.4Operating system: macOS3D software: Form Z 9(modeled here and then exported into OBJ)
