I can't replace text with find and replace! Mac

This is so #()$*  porked from CS 6.    I just want to do a global find and replace of specific text in my documents to change a client's address.   I have tried basic and advanced and CS2021 doesn't find the text  although I have pasted it directly from a page.  This is the worst part of the "upgrade" and makes DW almost unusable for sitewide edits.     How in the heck to do you replace plain text? The dialog box asks for any tag and then if you use text it asks for source code, which is fine, but when I click replace it doesn't.  I am using replace contents, cause this has nothing to do with tags or attributes. I see people have been complaining about this for 2 years and the programmers can't seem to be bothered to fix it.

Nube Looking for Dreamweaver Courses - Online AND Offline

I have been making my own sites with Fusion for many years but it has not been updated since 2015 and I know I am missing out on many possibilities, particularly responsive\adaptive pages. I know what HTML looks like but that's about it. So I have armed myself with total CC and now I'm looking for a comprehensive course, from beginner to intermediate - Maybe beyond - At my own pace. W3Schools looks promising to me for an online course - Good option? Or is there something better?   Since our internet sucks rocks, I also need an offline PDF based course - Thinking of something like W3Schools but downloaded so I can study offline.  Suggestions will be appreciated. The Adobe training videos are good but way too limited. And most of the stuff on YouTube is really painful to watch. Thanks,Sean

video sizing

Need help with secondary NAV expand

Hello,I have a vertical side nav with subs that was expanding from center at 50%. I was having an issue with the menu expanding over content in the header so I changed the translateY(50%) to 100% which worked but now when expanding it's doing this glitchy jerky movement. Can someone help me? I've attached the html file. One other issue is that when on mobile the nav won't let you select a sub nav. RE: Dreamweaver not responding

Hi ~I have been building a site with DW 5.5 and yesterday after a save DW will not open the site again...it starts loading the HTML code...nothing apears in the design view (I work with split screen)...and then it says not responding at the top. (I have waited over an hour and it doesn't start working again.)I tried opening other sites and have no issue.  So this is specific to this one site.  I can open up my index.html file in browsers and every thing seems ok. I have tried the following:checked for updates - am up to dateno extensionsrestored the preferencesdeleted the .dws site cache filesdeleted the FileCache.dat file and the whole configuration folderI also tried opening a new file and coping my code into the new file.  The HTML runs fine but different valid CSS3 seems to cause problems.  For example it won't let me enter via hand or through the option menu the following....ul, ol, dl {    list-style-image: none;    list-style-typ

Allow user to change password

I have routines to register a new user who can update data files displayed on the website and to long them in to access update routines.  I now need to write a routine which allows a user to change his password.  I've asked for the email account and then sent a message to the account containing a link to an update routine, but the email is unauthenticated and contains a "noname" document containing the message, which isClick on the link to reset your password. https://www.domain.com/reset.php This is useless.  When I follow routines to reset a password, the link is never this legible - it's always long in indeciperable.  How do you do that?  And what am I doing wrong? My code:if (!$suspect && !$errors) {// send email with link to reset routine$to = $email;$subject = 'Change password';$headers = "Content-Type: text/plain, charset=utf-8\r\n";$headers .= "From: webmaster@domain.com";$param = '-fwebmaster@domain.com';$message = "Click on link
