Dreamweaver

I'm having trouble with uploading to the my web hosting domain on Yahoo. Adobe couldnt see the issue so im asking the community if they can see the problem.   [Code containing sensitive information removed by moderator.  It's unrelated to the question.]    

I have created a site where i am asking the user to register with their Fname / Sname / Email / Mobile Can anyone explain how i can recall indivdual profile up into my site when a user sign's in. right now no matter which user sign's in.. it seems only to recall the data for user id 1 in my database. Hope this makes sense. Thank you all....Deepak 

I just reverted to DW 19.2.1 and am trying to make the vertical toolbar align horizontally under the menu like in the older versions. I have dragged and dropped on the horizontal area but can seem to make it work. Is there another way?

I am having trouble with Extract.    When I click on Windows and then Exract, I get a blank page.  No icon to load the .psd file..  Thanks for the help.   Herb

https://community.wappler.io/t/what-is-wappler-from-the-clients-perspective/22924  Since its genrally slow in here these days and not many interesting questions are being asked I thought the one above was an excellent question from the OP. Clients SHOULD care about what workflows developers use to build their website, too many sadly don't.  The reason most don't is because they have no idea if a workflow is going to cause trouble for them or not. Pretty poor answers to the OPs question, in my opinion, which negate any concerns that the client may have if questioned and rather concenterate on what the developer considers appropriate for themselves.  Its always going to be a 'crooks' market place, clients without the foresight or concern to ask for an independent view from a reputable source are always likely to get stung. Bad luck client, you most probably bought cheap, suck it up when the time comes.

I'm getting an error code 509 using Anastasiy's Extension Manager (v3.2) while attempting to install an extension in DreamWeaver CC 2020. It says the database is damaged. Any ideas on how I can fix this?I'm on an iMac (Catalina v10.15.6)Thank you!

In older versions of dreamweaver users could customize file extension/associations - e.g. associate *.inc files as HTML so the html parsing engine would kick in.  Those same directions to make associations don't seem to work in dreamweaver 2020. These are the directions I'm  referring to: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/change-add-recognized-file-extensions.html In dreamweaver 2020 I tried updating the .xml file first... restarted dreamweaver and nothing happened. Next, I updated both the .xml and .txt file as specified, again, no change (note I also ended task on all adobe processes to see if that had something to do with it - on windows).Can someone please tell me how to add custom file extensions in the new dreamweaver 2020?

Hi  I am developing my website in dreamwearer and whenever i connect it with FTP It shows error and previously it was working fine but suddenly i am facing this issue and I have tried solutions provided in Adobe community . Any help would be Appreciated  Thank You

Why ? Mixing code was the best part about this with the individual tag coloring, the program was extreamly fast and it currently puts brackets and dreamweaver 2020 away by far as a text editor. Cant someone edit the program and just update the CSS, PHP and HTML hinting and validation engines...Im currently looking for any text editor that even comes close to 2015.

Hi everyone,I am using Adobe Dreamweaver 20.2 on a Mac.  Does this version offer a function that would allow me to split a table? I'm not looking to split a cell, I need to split a table.  Reason being, I am creating html pages with embedded css that have forms. They are to be exact replicas of PDF forms. I need the html page to print out exactly where the pdf ends and begins for each page.  My client is using another outdates application that allows him to split the table.  Might there be an extension that allows me to do this?  </table> <p style="page-break-before: always"></p> <table width="675" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> Thanks for your help.

Just roll it back to version 19 until they fix this horror story of a build. Fixed my issues with version 20 by doing so.

Hi, I've made the first draft of a new website. I can do a device preview on an iPhone and an iPad when using Chrome or Firefox. But when using Safari I got a blank page. I copied the whole stuff to a test folder on the server and then Safari had no problems at all. Every preview on desktop browsers work (also Safari). So I suspect it a problem with Safari on iOS or a specific device preview problem.Any ideas? Ulrich

Hi all,I am looking to find a solution to search in a certain type of file (extension)The problem is that, using coldfusion, I know that what I search for is in a .cfm OR .cfc file.As they are a lot of other files in my site (.htm .css .js .jpg .gif ...) I need to be able to find only in those files.Best would be to have a box "file name pattern (separated by coma)" where I can insert"*.cfm , *.cfc "  OR "*.cf?"Here a print screen of what is existing in EclipseHope you will help,JPE

So I jus purchased Dreamweaver 2020 becuase it make the code editing much easier in terms of the basic word processing and appearence of the html pages I maintain. So there is no attributes or properties toolbar to be found. I am not sure if that is the correct term or not. I used to have a toolbar with the following: left or right or centeredfonttext colortext sizebackground colora link to click to insert an imageetc. That is not anywhere that I can find and the only reason I personally use Dreamweaver. I am a self taught entirely non-legit website designer simply making basic word processing changes to pages. I am not going to userstand geek-speak and instructions that assume I have any level of expertise. I am frustrated that this most basic of editing tools is simply not already on the page that I view when I open a file. Nor is it located in any intuative location at any of the links at the top of the page. Not in View, Insert, Tools or Window that I can find. Thank

In my last version of Dreamweaver, when I clicked on an open tag such as <div> the closing </div> would also highlight. I now have 2020 version and it no longer does that. Is there a setting that will make this happen? Thank you!

Hello,I have tried and tried to create a css with dreamweaver, and it always opens up 2 styles and then I cannot save it to preview.I know I must be doing something wrong, I have even tried to link a style sheet and that does the same thing.Is there something I am doing wrong?Thanks,Debbie

Hello I am trying to add more slides to a page. Currently it had 9 slides. I am able to add slides (so far just added 1 for testing). I updated the IF statement from 9 to 10 and updated the circles to reflet 10 pages now instead of 9. However when i get to the last page, nothing shows up. Well this problem has been posted before and support has been contacted dont know how to contact support but  Well i have Adobe Dreamweaver  CS5 - I have the CD and my Serial Number - Easy  It installed  on my HP Laptop had it in 2012/13  Laptop is getting old - i have a new windows 10 tablet - issue is it does not have a cd drive how do i install  Dreamweaver 5 on it . could not find a download link  and dont have the funds to upgrade to CS6 and CS5 works fine with me on my pld laptop but laptop is slow .  please help
