JS struct and id issue

Template Issue: areas outside of editable regions are not grayed out and are editable

Recently this issue has emerged. I have a template with some editable regions. The non-editable regions are the header, footer, etc. But whether it's existing pages based on this template or new pages created from this template, the non-editable regions are editable and not grayed out like they used to be.  The pages are still connected to the template because when I update the template, the pages also update to reflect the change. I didn't have this problem before.  What I've tried:* Updated to most recent Dreamweaver* Restarted Dreamweaver and the computer* Created a new page and made sure the box is checked that links it to the template when it's updated Nothing is fixing it. Ideas? Is it a bug?

PHP code guru please

Hi guys,I was just wondering if anyone would know how to do this, with PHP - I used to mess around with PHP  on an old site, but have forgotten most of it...   Here's what I need to do - I want to place the same internal link on several dozen different pages on my site (we might call these pages A1, A2, A3 etc), which will all direct the users to the same page (page 'B') - however when they arrive at page B, I need it to display an entire page of 'unique' product info, relevent only to the (various A1, A2, A3 etc) pages they clicked through from.   Hope that makes sense.eg.  If page A1 was about apples, then once they clicked the internal link through to page B, they would see apples displayed, on page B.   But if they clicked through from page A2, which was about oranges - they would instead see oranges on page B.  I know this is achievable, I just dont remember the code that is needed to do it.   Any thoughts, or even a link to a tuto

You may be able to throw some light or want to throw some on light on the rather interesting thread/s going on in the Wappler forum about 'shopping carts' - data store, etc Some posters have quite correctly highlighted the issue of sending the 'product price' via the client-side generated js form, as it's been well known for years it is open to manipulation. Other posters have said you should get and check the price from your database BUT that, as far as I know, makes zero difference as you will always end up with a client-side generated form containing prices BEFORE  it gets sent to your payment gateway - same problem - form prices can be easily manipulated. The only secure way I know is to send the data from the payment form to the payment gateway of your choice and then get the form variables back from the payment gateway THEN check the prices in your database. If the prices match then you send the variables back to the payment gateway for processing. If the pric

Hi, I noticed that Adobe Dreamweaver has been logging a lot of '.wakeup_resource.diag' files in my console recently. I have a Macbook Pro 2019. Does anyone know what may be causing this issue? The logs are for the CEPHtmlEngine, CEPHtmlEngine Helper and Dreamweaver. I've also noticed that my log reports section in the Console is filling up with a lot of adobe creative cloud reports in general while running adobe apps including "ACC.log", "CoreSync.log", "PDApp.log", "CC Library Process.log", "NGLClient_Dreamweaver.log", "CC Library Panel DRWV.log" and "CCX Process.log". The ACC.log keeps repeating a lot of the same errors, such as "02/14/20 13:14:12:212 | [WARN] | 5833 | CCD | Core | ExternalGateway | | Core | 314037 | 501 | There is no entry found for the request Id - 783B7DFF-A07B-4596-9848-DDB4E13EF853". The log is already over 12 mb from using the app the past couple days. Is there a way to stop the logging or figure out if there is bug in the app that is causing a lot of logg

Photo Gallery Misbehaving

HelloI needed a photo gallery on my web page to promote content of bookstores past.I used this gallery from https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_image_gallery.asp.Here is the link to the web page that I am having difficult creating a verticle alingment.http://meherbabalibrary.org/babalist/list_l/list_l_life-circular-30.htmlWhere the photos end (after the photo gallery) the text and links should drop down. I attach a web page showing how material is arranged from top to bottom. This page with the image gallery the content rearranges to the right side of the photo gallery. I fiddled with creating divs, (below the photo gallery) with paragraphs, with Main and Section. That fiddling did not help to prevent the shuffle of material from below the photo gallery from adjusting to the right of the gallery. How do I keep the photo gallery stationed in its div area (as the photo gallery) and text and link content in its own space below?Let me know what to do.I am Stuck.Thanks!!

DW 2020 Design view blank

Hi brilliant people! I am working on html e-blasts. Ever since we went to reponsive templates a couple of years ago the design view does not closely approximate the live view.  I do, however, like to refer to it from time to time as it can help to figure out the basic structure of documents. In the latest doc I'm working the design view just gave up entirely and is showing as blank. Any ideas on what this could be?
