Dreamweaver

I updated to dreamweaver 2020 and since that time I've been unable to open any version of the program on my mac. I can't even uninstall D2020 because it keeps telling me to close dreamweaver cc first, but it's not even open. Help!

I have tried to make several Hotspot links in one Picture. It worked earlie but not now. The links do not work at all or make links to the same page.

I have some basic text entry forms that we're built using a cold fusion server and backend database. The user had to enter html code to get basic things like line feed and bolding.  (Not what they want to do).Is there a tool or methodology that would capture true text entries with formatting? the code has been working for many years, but it's now burdensome to the new users without HTML knowledge or desire to do so.  Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Helllpp...I just want to insert HTML comments. Once it was in "insert" panel, then it moved to the "common toolbar," now it's not there either. Where have they put it NOW? Why are they trying to drive me crazy during a holiday deadline? I'm working in Dreamweaver CC 2019.

my site changes background colour as i reduce the viewport by using media queries in file v40.css   I just use these colour changes to help me learn to use the media queries and to confirm they are workingAll seems ok on Desktop and iPhone landscape mode(yellow) But the iPhone in portrait mode stays resolutely red when, according to my media query(at line 46),  it should turn blue. I would like a feedback form for my online shop that will be displayed on my home page. I would like customers to be able to give feedback so that it might attract new customers. I would be looking at users being able to add their comments from the homepage and be instantly updated for all to see. I have no understanding about MySQL so if this requires that then is there an alternative like the search facility I have which is a small fee per month. Any help greatly appreciated and Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Im finding that DW is inconsistent when it comes to aplying font styles. I have a font style styleastorisk which uses Arial font with a left alignment and h2 with a center alignment. This is a line of code with eight asterisks in the body of my document with sytleasterisk aplied: <p class="stylesasterisk">********</p> If I select the eight asterisks and apply style h2 to it, DW keaves the code for styleasterisk and adds the code for h2: <p class="stylesasterisk"><span class="h2">********</span></p> As a result, the eight asterisks take on the font and color of h2 but do not align to the center - they stay aligned left. In another instance in the same document, DW replaces the code for styleasterisk with the code for h2 and as a result the asterisks align to the center like this: <span class="h2">********</span></p> The asterisks also align to the center if I edit the code and remove this: <

I am trying to put the Paypal buttons on our website and when I get them loaded, the buttons are still in sandbox mode.  Can anyone help me get them put into dreamweaver and have them not be in sandbox mode anymore? Thanks, Eric

I previously used CS5 Dreamweaver to build a website for my father.  That computer died and with it the ability to maintain the site. Now I want to use the Cloud version of Dreamweaver to upload the complete site from the server so that it can be maintained on my new computer.  What steps need to be followed?

Hello, how to make  in the program so that when you hover over the image?

I am re-doing my sites for better phone compatability and have an issue with responsive video. I can get it on the page, it is responsive, looks great on a phone and tabletop but it fills the entire row on the normal webpage. So far I cannot find how to sie it on the page and float it to one side or the other. As you might suspect I am not your code whiz.... Dreamweaver is helping a ton but this one issue is stopping me.

HI Everyone,I am in need of some help with the hotspot tool. I have created a document and want to put hotspots on my image. However whenever I click and drag to create the hotspot, it doesn't appear and the properties panel disappears with it. This happens everytime. Any clues as to why this isn't working would be great. Greetings, I am a visual artist not a web designer. I have been using Dreamweaver for many years to create interactive composite imagery.  My coding abilities are rudimentary, and I’ve learned by trial and error and I am being made aware that the tools and techniques I am using are archaic or obsolete. I use slices exported from Photoshop to cut an image into individually linked composite components. These hot linked areas must  follow the contours of forms within the image. Since final web page must be responsive, I cannot use “hotspots” to link these areas of the image, the only option I have found was to slice the image in Photoshop and link them separately, sometimes there are dozens of these components.  Of course, the pieces have to be perfectly aligned, even 1/10th of a percentage off shows up as a line. Upfront I'm aware that there is no support for CS3 or links to get a new serial number that doesn't require the activation code.  The question is – is this the same for CS4 and CS5?  I'm assuming that CS6 is the cloud base program?   I have paid my dues over the years of purchasing software year after year.  And its just gotten to the point that I don't use software like I did in the past.  So I have a real hard time having to pay for monthly subscription to use a software that I have paid for many times over that still works for me.    I would paid for an activation code or new serial number that doesn’t require activation.   Unfortunately when you are forced to go from an XP environment to Windows 10 then again you are forced to make some changes with certain programs.     I just installed Dreamweaver (only) on Windows 10 from our Adobe Design Suite Premium CS3.  No problem with the installation and
