Dreamweaver

we will soon begin using kronos work force ready HR platform. My question. Kronos says they can export via URL link our job postings to our company website. I'm a little leary about the style and formatting. Anyone familiar?

Over the past few weeks I've been having a lot of problems with the user interface in Dreamweaver. Everything works fine when I first open the program but after a short while I find that I can't select items from the menu as they're all greyed out, I can't use the scrollbar in Local or Remote View, I can't refresh the file list either using right-click or F5, and a couple of time it has completely reset my Workspace and I've had to add all my panels back in again and reinstall plugins. The only way to get the user interface working again is to restart the program. Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a solution? 

Hello, I have a problem when I'm publishing my website. I created another row with 2 columns underneath another row with 3 columns. SUDDENLY dreamweaver is new 19.0.1 and I have not worked on my site for 2 yearsand all I need is the upload service for client files and I have a new High Sierra and thereis no clue where my .ste files are to import site, nor do they appear in File>Find>.steand every other DW version has kept the site so I'm stupidly lost.I thought it would be with my home version of my site, but see no .ste anywhere in there.Maybe it's buried deep in some folder?Do what please?

Hi everyone i have problem with my dreamweaver19 when i want to creat a new site it's not showing the sitesetup so i find the site in manage sites but when it's done it's saying : no local root folder exist so how i can chose the location folder when the SiteSetup window not showing ? I'm new at GREP & Regular Expressions (regex). I've searched here and found what I thought was a solution but I can't get it to do what I want it to. Basically, Using "Find and Replace in Files" I need to find all URL links in a set of files and modify/replace all the  code before and after the URL, but leave the URL intact. I want to replace the code colored red:<a href="https://www.myfancywebsite.com"> With this:<a href="#" onclick="cordova.InAppBrowser.open ('https://www.myfancywebsite.com', '_system', 'location=yes');"> I tried doing this by creating a subexpression with wildcard character set but it didn't work. Clearly I'm not getting this at all...I tried using this as the search: <a href="https://([.+\b])">  And this as the replace:<a href="#" onclick="cordova.InAppBrowser.open ('https://([.+\b])', '_system', 'location=yes');"> Is this even possible? Hi I'm having an issue with a website - we recently upgraded to Dreamweaver 18 and I'm having an issue with rollover images which will be used as hyperlinks.When I add the rollover buttons in Dreamweaver they appear as broken images.When I preview them in live view or in a browser they look fine. Any ideas why they are appearing as broken images? see below

I'm trying to edit some big .css files, (about 400 KB).  I only have one file open.  If I try to edit text, each keystroke takes between 15 and 30 seconds to register. Does anyone have any suggestions?  It's a new, clean install, and seems to work fine with small files. 

Hi, whenever I go to validate any page I've been creating in Dreamweaver CC (18.2), the first issue I always see is "Consider adding a lang attribute to the html start tag to declare the language of this document." Why isn't that added automatically when I start working on a blank html5 page, and how do I get dreamweaver to add it every time I start on a new html5 page?

Hi everyone - we use the CC and Captivate to create our SCORM compliant eLearning material but as developers we are finding the latter to be clunky and not as much freedom to create what we want as the former.  What would be a perfect work flow for us is to leave the designers to create the visual layout and content, whilst the developers code that into HTML5 (Which is what Captivate creates anyway) but then wrap the result in SCORM.  Is this possible? thanks Claire

I want to connect dreamweaver 2019 to my coldfusion server but i've not the choise "RDS" in the dropdown list. I already uninstalled and re-installed dreamweaver i used the cleaning tool for uninistall it too, and i already tried to remove all the file and registry of dreamweaver but still no optio. I contacted the help desk but after 1 hour of try they didn't solve.... Does someone know what i should do for use it? Is there a way to "reinstall" rds plugin? 

I am trying to get a logo and a navigation bar at the top of the image.  This image is my header image in Dreamweaver.  I have other things I want to overlay under the headline in the image.  Please advise. I

I have a problem working with images and hotspots. The problem is that (one year ago) I used a png image with a lot of hotspots to connect to other sites. Now I've made the leap to using bootstrap 4. But the image/hotspot method doesn't work anymore. (Problems: An incredible number of problems!) See the file at http://berkeleyartisans.com/list.html for last year's successful list. Can someone tell me another way to get this working? (I've been seeing something about SVG files, but barely know what they are.) And, of course, I'm on a deadline... Apparently this is a problem that Adobe won't support anymore. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.Rick

Please be nice. I'm pretty new to desiging in dreamweaver. I have to do it for work so bear with me if I don't know what your talking about. I have a horizontal drop down menue bar to navigate the web page. In the Design part of dreamweaver my lists are piled on top of each other. I'll try to attach a picture. It's only in the design view it looks like this. The published web page is fine.

The original post can be found here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/Dreamweaver/Javascript-onmouseover-does-not-work/td-p/10681988 In a few words the problem was that a code I had written in Javascript for my website did not work in Dreamweaver HTML code, whereas it worked in jsfiddle and in theory also in W3schools site.The problem was solved when I moved the Javascript code to the bottom of the HTML code, right before the </body> tag. Previously I had linked it through <script src"..."></script> at the head and it didn't work. As soon as I moved it as the last line inside the <body> it functioned as it should. I am new in coding and I haven't quite worked with scripts at both the <head> and at the <body> as it is mentioned here https://www.w3schools.com/js/js_whereto.asp , and why one works and the other doesn't, but general consensus as far as I a have read is for

With apologies to the forum, I have two questions that are evading me. Please note that I'm using bootstrap 4 for the first time, so that is the basic problem. (I'm sure the problem is me not knowing how to use bootstrap.)   (1) I have tried to center a banner, but nothing seems to work. It's in a (div class="container"), and everything else in that seems to work.  C6 I modifid a template . Added a table put domain names in each cell and made hyperlinks for each. I go down the list and open each domain to make sure they are working. Each domain has the same page, when i go down the list to each one they work perfect but randomly some hang and will not let   me move on no matter what hyperlink i click. Each domain has the same page so if you go to one page your now using that ones hyperlink page   asghosting.net

I'm a real novice looking for an idiot-proof way to get started with lightGallery. I was thinking that I could use a demo as a starting point and edit it to make my page. I use BlueGriffon.    I downloaded the lightGallery-master from Github. I have no idea what Bower or npm are. I can run the demo contained in the download. I guess I could build in up, but thought I'd try the demo at https://sachinchoolur.github.io/lightgallery.js/demos/ since it has a lot of thumbnails, which is my situation. I tried running it loaded into a new directory on my computer. That didn't work. I next tried loading it into the demo directory and it didn't work either.   I would appreciate a suggestion of how to get started.
