Dreamweaver

I use Dreamweaver CS 5.5 and recently I move some of my files to a new drive and having issues with updating the pages created from a template.  The template is looking for the old page in C drive and all my files are in D Drive (including the template).  How do i change the path to D drive ?The updating pages is giving this status below.Updating C:\NEW MACROMEDIA\Templates\Done.  files examined: 3  files updated: 0  files which could not be updated: 0total time: (0:00:00)I want the path to change to D.  Any help ?

When I go to tools>editable regions it does not allow the function as well as allow me to save it as a template

Well I have been trying to make this image a landing page all day. I wanted to add a hotspot on the click here part so they can click it and it lead them to my other website. But this part is very confusing. I've watched videos, videos, and blogs online and none has helped get this image to fit the browser so the edges fill the browser. They rather have white edges that you can see that do not look good. Can you tell me what my code suppose to be? What do it need to be because this is so difficult....way difficult. I use to could just insert the image and it put the code in and add a hotspot and the link would work, but this version is way to complicated for beginners. what is the code suppose to be to make the image fit the browser to the edge. Nothing works! After I put in these codes the image still does not meet the browser.

This has been going on for quite some time now - at least since CC 2015. Whenever I sync remote files to my local files (remote overwriting local) and click the "Delete local files not on remote" option, both the remote and local files get deleted. And it's usually into the thousands as I solely use Wordpress to build sites. Is this ever going to get fixed?? I've spent countless, unpaid hours fixing my clients' sites because Dreamweaver keeps deleting unnecessary files and crashing sites. Is it possible it's a time stamp issue?? I know it's not user error as I've been using Dreamweaver and the same process for at least 4 years and never had an issue until CC 2015.

So I have a nice, professional bootstrap template which I have edited images and vocabulary with; created multiple pages, etc. Now I would like to add a page in which I would like to add a nice calendar on (for others, you may want to add to/include other things). But lets say we search for a bootstrap add-on but would like to keep our original site to have the same general format as the rest of the pages...you know, to keep the same custom style.Well that's where I'm at now with the calendar I found HERE where I attained a zip file supplying me with the CSS, JavaScript, a LESS file and an index. What I'd like to do with it is "insert" the index file into a renamed version of my main template (calendar.html), probably edit around a little bit and go from there. But is this possible? I have a question for inserting images in Dreamweaver for years.When I first used DW3, when I wanted to insert an image, click the insert image icon, it was the last folder which I used previously opened. This behavior has been changed since I upgraded to DW CC. Now when I click the insert image icon, the default image folder of my site which I set in the site management will be opened. Sometimes it is really frustrating. For example, when I want to insert tens of images in one image folder, each image I have to click click click click click to go from my default folder into my target folder. If DW can open the last folder used, then for each image just one click will be done.Does anyone know which setting I have missed?My system is Windows 10 Home Edition, and my DW CC is the newest version.Thank you !

Hello,I am giving Dreamweaver a go, and so far it looks very promising. However, when it comes to change keyboard shortcuts it lacks the possibility to change the shortcut for Delete Line(s). First off I had to search the adobe website to find out how to delete line in the first place, and when I find it I can't change it in the program. No luck in the menus.xml files either. Is this something I will have to live with or is it some kind of bug or does anyone have a clue to what I'm missing?Best regardsMikael

Just installed Dreamweaver on my Windows 10 laptop. After installing, when I try to open it, nothing happens. It doesn't crash. I don't get an error message. Nothing happens. When I check task manager, it shows as running in the background, but I can't actually access the program.I've tried running as admin. I've tried compatibility mode. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried the "Windows 10 Fix" of doing the scan for errors via cmd prompt. I've tried deleting the library file. I've even tried deleting all my Adobe programs, deleting Cloud, then reinstalling Cloud and Dreamweaver again.Still, no dice.Help!

I know this may seem petty but I am used to seeing inline styles where the property and values are different colors. I finally went from Dreamweaver 2015 to the latest 2019 and it seems this is no longer the way inline css is color coded. I am coding emails and find that the two colors are a big help in weeding through the code. Is there a way to change my interface preferences so the property and values are different colors when written inline? It seems to do this in the CSS when it is by itself.ThanskRose

I have been trying to un-install Dreamweaver CS4 from my old iMac and my old Macbook Pro.I have ensured that I am connected to the internet.When I try to un-install Dreamweaver on both machines I get a message saying "you are not connected to the internet" and "contact Adobe help"Anybody got any ideas ?

Right now when a customer hits "SUBMIT", the form he filled out gets emailed to me and a paypal page opens up.But I added several options so what I need (ideally) is if a customer checks only one field and hits SUBMIT, he is taken to paypal page one.If he checks two fields and hits SUBMIT he is taken to paypal page two.And the same goes for 3 other options.Any ideas?

I have created a template named Location Page, that is based upon another template called Menu and Footer Template. I have updated the style for #menu to "position: fixed;" on the original template Menu and Footer Tempate. However, the Location Page is not updating.
