Dreamweaver

Double click on word to select the word is not working correctly in some circumstances.  Sometimes it leaves a letter out of the selection which negates the speed of double clicking a word.

I have some questions about making tables accessible in Dreamweaver. I would prefer not to have to go into the HTML code to make these changes. My questions are: 1) How do you add a table caption to a table that has already been created? I can only see how to do this when the table is being created. Is there a way to go in after the table has been created and add a table caption?2) How do you identify the header rows in a table to meet accessibility guidelines?  

I am able to upload to the server with Filezilla no issues but when trying to connect with Dreamweaver constant "connection lost" errors and impossible to upload. No solutions found.  

My HTML and CSS skills are beginner. I basically want to add a simple lightbox gallery to my website without it being a headache to add media to. Using an external embed works fine for my purposes but unsure what is best to use. I can embed Behance but that just creates a link tile not embedding the gallery page itself. I would ideally like to keep everything on-site without the user having to navigate elsewhere. I could use Flikr which embeds it as a slideshow feature. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

Hi, I'm neither a developer or professional designer, I just do my own site(s).I have spent days (seriously, days) trying to remove the forward arrows (or whatever they are) that keep appearing at the bottom of my page as per the below image. I can't give a link to the page as the site is currently up using WordPress. Can anyone help?Many thanks,BJBarker. 

Mt template in Dreamweaver works fine. It has six or seven categories of topic linked to it. They all work fine except for one linked page which 'jumps' up the screen a little. All the other links are rock steady if you click from one to another. I have remade the template, remade the page that jumps. All good except his one page which continues to jumps up the screen a good few pixels. Am stumped. Comments appreciated. I am not a coder, I work in Design mode. Thank you

However, on this class other code to control the link colours doesn’t work. Hi,i'm pretty new to DW and I was trying to add a background music for the page I am creating. I inserted an HTML 5 Audio, I have the mp3 saved on my computer (and also uploaded on Altervista) but when I do a preview of the page the music doesn't start. How do I render dynamic CMS block or JS functionality in the CMS pages/blocks and blog posts in the Adobe PWA application? I tried to include some basic JS in the CMS blocks but those JS are not executing in the Adobe PWA application where these CMS blocks are injected.

Hi.Been using DW CS3 for many years now, I develope in house intranet applications, running on a MySQL/PHP environment. Just installed the 7 day trial of DW 2021, but found a issue. I flick from code view to design view lots, and in CS3 the design view would correctly include the style sheet to format the screen correctly. But in 2021, its not working. Not my stle sheet is in a include file in the <head> part of the page. Its like this... <!DOCTYPE html><head><? include "includes/header.php"; ?></head> In that header.php. I have, apart from other things, the following... <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> CS3 was smart enough to find this style sheet and apply it to the design view, but 2021 isnt. I am updating my website. One of the features the current/soon to be former site has is a page that is password protected. My web host does not have a C Panel login therefore, after researching, I believe my option is to use .htaccess. I found the .htaccess file however I am at a loss as to what to do with my page. Any suggestions?

Is there any way of collapsing the tree view of the local site? I've got a large-ish site with hundreds of pages, thousands of images and dozens of folders.  Scrolling all the way down to files in the root takes an age if multiple folders are open.  Is there anyway of collapsing the view so that it just shows folders and files in the root?  Many thanks,

I'm rather inexperienced with website design. I want to have the header (e.g. navigation bar) and footer to be identical on any new pages I create and updated when I update the menu so I don't have to do it per-page. How do I achieve this? Like a single separate file that all the other pages read from. Thanks

While working from home I noticed my shortcut from emmet is not working. the only change I have made is to use the company VPN. Once I am at my office, the shortcuts are working. Is there a way to workaround this, without turning off my VPN? 

I have made several changes to a page in my website. I see the changes when I preview the page on the local view. I also see the changes when I preview the page in google or from the remote server. But the changes are not visible live on the web.  The remote server test connects to the server.  I have contacted my webhoster and everything is good on their end and am using the correct address for the host.  They suggested republishing the page but not sure how to go about that or if there is an easier solution.

Hi Guys, if you’re interested in purchasing extensions for Dreamweaver, there’s a company called “Project Seven” who makes extensions for easy responsive web design.  Even if you’re a “dummy” like me it is so easy to design a responsive website in Dreamweaver with these extensions – I only have the most basic of HTML and CSS knowledge, trust me these extensions are so easy to use – you don’t have to learn how to use Bootstrap or anything else – these extensions do all the responsive work for you and there’s heaps of them available, you can choose the ones that best suit your project.  Even if you’re a seasoned professional web developer these extensions would most definitely speed up your workflow.  Hoping this helps some of you guys out there, especially if you’re new to web design. I am really frustrated with Dreamweaver 21.4. Maybe there is some problem with my installation or something is broken and it is not working properly. The WYSISWG editor is impossible to use, in many occasions it does not allow me to write, it adds me   in infinity of places, it does not allow me to copy and paste, in short everything I have to do from the code and I really do not understand Dreamweaver this way. In my opinion it "WAS" a WYSIWYG tool, now it is a code editor like Notepad++ for example but with a viewer of what is being written in the HTML (I am using pure HTML+CSS in the "old school" way). Will there be any possibility to configure the behavior of Dreamweaver like the CC2017 series for example? Make it simple, allowing to do everything in the WYSIWYG interface. I confess that for the moment I am using it only to edit templates that I have for mailing, nothing much workload or programming for web pages that I understand well that is the goal. But, I ne
