Dreamweaver

Adobe claims they have a partnership with Microsoft but I've never seen a group of products so incompatible!Is this just a marketing lie?Where are the details/instructions to get DreamWeaver to work with SQL Server?

Surely there is an answer for this? How do we turn these off? I shouldn't have to stop what I am doing, find the tiny itty-bitty x and click it, and then return to what I am doing. Whoever thought it was helpful was wrong, wrong, wrong. I see a brief conversation earlier where the person was given instructions on how to do this in Photoshop, but those options don't apply in Dreamweaver. And that was the end of it. Heck, I even clicked the "I know what the heck I'm doing" option when I updated Dreamweaver.  I shudder to think what I would be seeing if I had clicked the "I'm a newbie" box!

I find it ridiculous that I have to click every single one of these to make them stop.  For on-the-job web developers, it's absurd that I cannot turn these off by choice. Get with it, Adobe. Two days ago, I opened DW18CC and my window was back to the white default view. I went into prefs to change it and every time I clicked "apply", It would get 3 pop ups saying "While executing onLoad in writePreference.htm, a JavaScript error occurred." Trying to do a sitewide link find and replace and DW is saying there are no links for the one I'm inserting in the first box and I simply and copy and pasting from the link of which there are hundreds (old contact page) so puzzled.

Dreamweaver Experts, thanks for reading this and all your help in the past.  While making a new html page in DW the software asks me on the start menu: New bootstrap.css or Existing.css ?  Honestly, sometimes, I choose new and sometimes I choose existing across different Site folders not knowing what difference it makes.  Never seems to make a difference.  Now, choosing BS framework or not certainly does.  The reason why I’m confused by this question is because I thought Bootstrap4.css was read only and all subsequent styling is done inline or on attached css.  Seems like DW should be attaching the same BS4.css every time.  I looked this up on DW support and could not find the answer I was looking for:  thanks for your input.

A few years later, I learned about switch/case and started using it for every conditional that could be done with switch/case, falling back to if/else for situations where switch/case couldn’t be used.About four years ago, I learned about dispatch tables and I’m going bonkers with it. I would be using dispatch tables in my professional work, but no one else here wants to use them, so I stick to switch/case and if/else just because no one else wants to know about them and I have to keep my code so that anyone can work on it. Hi please help!I have updates some pages of my website but every time I try to upload them it fails.I have PUT them on to the remote server which each time says happened successfully but doesn't show up when I try it out.I note that they are not showing in the folder www where they need to be so I tried then dragging the files I had PUT on to the remote server into this folder but I get a message saying it is not possible.Thanks anyone who can help!
