Dreamweaver

I know that this question had been asked before.The extract panel is not loading. Error message as advise is "Sign out, reset dreamweaver and sign in again".But this is not working. I try it for a few times but the same error will keep popping out.I tried all the methods that was advised but none seems to work. Could someone kind please advise what should I do??

Hello all,Working on a website trying to get an image to be a certain percentage width of its container float right (or left) of text, allowing the text to wrap around on wider screens and tablets, and then slide under the text on phone screens.I know I can control this by responsive columns but then the text in the adjacent column (obviously) won't wrap.Is there a way to set an image in the same container as the text so that it will be a percentage of that column?Thanks for any info or help.Dave

In the first field I get no link to this site found. Yet there are 1500 links to what I want to change from so, I'm stumped to why this happens.I solved it once by doing reboot of the software, but still  happening again.

It appeared during the design of behaviors, I deleted it, but it keeps appearing when I preview the site. Does anyone know how to fix it?thank's!

We have (had) a site we need to flip, but need to show the site as it was. The only way I can see it is via my computer files.  Surely there's a way to view it without having Muse software?

I'd like to make all email address clickable. I can search for the email and 142 come up. How do I make them all clickable at once, ie assign a link with a mailto: parameter at once?

HiSo just now Ive gained massive exposure for my website in just the right place - to just the right people, and I just have one little problem with my website on computers the website seems to work fine - but when you go on a mobile, and go into a project, for some reason the close button at the end doesn't work, which really sucks because it means lots of people would probably just give up after that.for some reason, it does work if you scroll all the way up on a project, then scroll down without scrolling all the way down (if that makes sense). Hi, I'm completely new to html and website building but Im following some tutorials on skill share as I build my own custom site for the first time.I've created a big title banner for my site, and I animated it using animate cc. I want to now place that banner into my site that I am building using dreamweaver. How do I take the graphics created on animate cc and put it onto my website?

I have two really frustrating issues:
1- If I close/shrink the Files window, I can't open it again.  It I choose it from Window >Files will briefly flash by on the screen, then is gone. I have to totally restart DW to upload files I am working on if it gets closed or shrunk down.
2 - Files window, when open, ALWAYS covers the file/code I am working on. I can click on any php, css or html file and Files will just sit on top of it. So I have to edge Files off to a corner if I want to edit some code, then upload without restarting DW (see #1). 

I've almost totally stopped using DW since this is such a pain.


I knew there where advantages to helping out in this forum, and other on-line help for web development, and at lunch time today one arrived in my mail box that I think is worth posting about, especially now Muse is EOL.I had been sent a free, (complimentary) copy of an ebook - Learning web design by Jennifer Robbins, ( 5th edition) .I know that we all think that we do not require to brush up on the basics, but what caught my eye from the first chapter was that Dw is mentioned as a code editor, and the question of must a web designer know code, (the answer was yes) was also answered. It also goes into many of the newer html/css features such as srcset and css grids, (so is up-to-date).I'm not trying to promote the book, (just as I did/do not think I should promote Dw or extensions whilst an ACP or now) but if anyone has time it may be worth downloading a free example of the book, (first couple of chapters) from Amazon, as a quick read of some subjects showed me how much I take for grant

Is it possible to use vagrant as a testing server for Dreamweaver? I am trying, the pages load but I get an error everytime a page refreshes. The error I get is this "Dynamically-related files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for the server." Searching for answers, I found something (not specific to vacant as the server) that said to use something other than the LAMP or XAMMP stacks you need to edit a PHP.xml file. Does anybody know what to do? Thanks

I am consistently getting time out message for Linting in Dreamweaver CC 2018. I saw some old mentions of this in 2015 but nothing for 2018. The 2015 suggestion said to create a NodePort.json file with a port value in it. That didn't work. Also my PC is a standalone one with no port blocking.Are there any new suggestions applicable to Dreamweaver CC 2018 relating to linting timing out?

Can some help me with some questions.Q1: Can one load this on a USB?I think I have enough space but says I don't?Q2: How many GB do you need to load?Thank you

This is an odd one. At the end of a long site map file, I can type in new text, but the mouse cursor will not select that text. Just wont.But it's not a problem in other sections of that same file -- it will select ok.And it selects ok in other files. Thanks.

So I'm working on this page where I have three separate divs. In Div 1 is a list of names. Div two is supposed to contain the contact information and div 3 has an image. I have it set that when you click on one of the items in DIV 1 the image in DIV  changes thanks to the swap behavior. Now, I've done it before where I can swap content using "Set Text of Container" and that's what I'm trying to do in DIV2. So when you click on a list item in DIV 1 the image changes DIV 3 and the text changes in DIV 2 .My problem is that whenever I try to add the "Set Text..." behavior Dreamweaver crashes. I have refreshed, rebooted and so on, still it crashes. Does anyone know of a different way I can swap the text in DIV 2 onClick? It's a lot of text with different styling so I can't use something as simple as this: Tryit Editor v3.5 . Unless there's a way to use that and also style the various headers and links that need to be displayed. 

On my old html images I click on image on the html page in DW and below in properties I see the field to insert an image alt tag.But with the new mobile friendly conversions I'm doing, I click on the image and there is no alt tag anymore in properties. Confused.(and alt tags for images help with SEO, get those image into Google images correct? Thanks.

I am not new to Dreamweaver CS4 but am by no means an expert.  I support a website for my golf course Oak Harbor The text formatting that I see in the code plus design view does not display correctly or at all on the website.  I want to have a title in <h4> but it will not display at all unless I use a CSS rule <p class="CenterBold100">.  The text displays correctly if tagged h3> in the design view but does not display at all when viewed on the website.I go on to use <h4> and <h3> throughout the rest of the home page and what I see in design matches what I see on the website.On another page Oak Harbor I again force the title with the <p class="CenterBold100"> but now the text tagged <h4> and <h3> does not display at all.  If use a <p> tag the text is too small.  I am guessing this is just not understand CSS well enough but hopefully some kind expert out there will point me in the right direction.Thanks,Jim

I have tried through various means to reconnect my Server Behavior Panel with Bindings, etc.  The file, that's supposed to be deprecated, just doesn't exist on my computer.  (Deprecated_ServerBehaviorsPanel.zxp)  If I look for the "Deactivated" folder, it's not there.  Please send me the file or tell me how to make it work again like in Dreamweaver CS6.  I've spent over 3 hours of my time trying to resolve this issue!  How am I supposed to get any work done when Adobe keeps on changing tried and true stuff that I use every day!  That's just plain wrong!  So, fix it NOW!Later,

Hi there I just published my website (primaltheatre.com) and the homepage instead of displaying my index.html file it's displaying a blank page with the message "Welcome to your new website", and only when I enter primaltheatre.com/index.html does it show the page I intended as the homepage. Does anybody have any idea how to make my index.html page as the homepage?

Ok, I haven't been using dreamweaver on a regualar basis for a while but I am working on a new site and I am having an issue where I edit an image and save over the old one. When I select the file and tell dreamweaver to put the file on the remote site it says that it didn't transfer no change. I would like it to put the file whether it thinks its changed or not. I had to catch this before the window closed I wish I could keep that transfer window open. Is there a setting I can change for this?Thanks!
