Ich habe Dreamweaver 2018 gerade heruntergeladen und komme aber mit der Installation nicht weiter. Gleich nach dem Setup kommt dieses FensterDa ich es nicht verkleinern oder vergrößern kann, stoppt hier zwangsweise die Installation.

I realize that the original italics tag was <i></i> and is now <em>, so I get why Dreamweaver is changing the tag when I'm working in code view. The problem is nowadays when working with font icons we are using the <i> tag in code to display icons ie...<i class="fa fa-clock"></i>. Is there a way to get Dreamweaver to stop auto-correcting the code every time I click on a line of code that includes the icon code? I don't really want to turn auto correct off completely.Thanks,-Ron

I am changing the hover color on my website. I changed it in the coding and when I go to Live view in dreamweaver, the new color is there. But when I go to my website, it is still the old color. Can anyone help  me solve the problem?

Years ago in Dreamweaver you could assign pre-made CSS styles to your selection by right-clicking and a drop-down of all styles were there.  This seems to have disappeared in newer versions.  Anyone know of an add-on or preference that would add this back?

Hello, I am trying to create a login system for my website, however I am confused as how to implement a PHP code that will make my login system work. I have tried using codes from various YouTube tutorials; however, people have said that some codes don't work because they have a newer version of XAMPP. I am using XAMPP version 3.2.2 and have seen that in many tutorials, people use MySQL and/or Apache. This is the craziest thing I've ever seen. I cannot edit in DW 2018. When I click anywhere it highlights the entire class, div, whatever. You cannot see your cursor, you sort of have to guess and type something in order to see if you hit it right.  As you can see here, I want to insert my cursor to correct where the href is not anchored. Yetwhen I click it highlights the ENTIRE area and the cursor vanishes. Apparently this was an issue in 2017 and Adobe for whatever reason decided not to fix the problem. Why in the world would you create a style that hides the cursor? I do not want the entire class, div, or whatever highlighted I want to be able to code directly. I googled and found something about editing some file, but I cannot believe there is no fix for this?

Please forgive my for not searching this forum extensively for an answer.I have a number of mobile devices that I wand to edit a web site. So I really need it not to be "only" on a local machine.I want the local folders to be in the cloud so I can access it with any mobile device and ideally like most cloud technology for it to be reflected on a local drive.So when I go to work or or to another country and take one machine with me I will have no access issues.I mainly use mac but occasionally would like to use a SG 8+ or a SG Tab2John

Not sure if anyone else is from the UK but we have new EU data protection laws coming into force on the 28th May.One of my clients is getting spooked as his site is not 'secure'.He has forms on it that collect personal data ie names, addresses, email etc and under these new laws that information should be encrypted or secure.Am I corrcet in thinking if the files were moved onto a secure connection - https: that all the data is protected?If so I cant work out what I'm meant to be looking for:If I move a file onto a secure connection I still get a orange triangle plus the grey paddlock instead of the green paddlock:'A grey lock with an orange triangle indicates that Firefox is not blocking insecure passive content. Why would this drop down option not show up on a Mac.The client is using CS5 and trying to connect to a AWS Site that is running IIS.Both the FTP over SSL/TLS drop downs from the "Connect Using:"list are not showing up.

I am trying to move over to CC2018 from 2016 and must note how big a learning curve it is.One of the issues bothering me is when i am writing code (split screen - code on the left, design on the right) and i hit <enter> to get to a new line.My pages are mixed HTML/Classic ASP and are usually defined as 'VBScript' in the language drop down at the bottom of the screen - mainly because the default 'HTML' mode does a bad job of trying to understand the ASP code. The 'VBScript' option is only slightly better from that perspective....If I am using Word Wrap, which i usually like to, the lines sometimes go completely wonky.Often, when i try deleting from the behind existing text, to try get it upwards to the end of the previous line - nothing happens, no matter how many deletes i do. Also, trying to 'tab' lines, to get them into a nice structure, does not work when in Word Wrap mode. Application: DreamWeaver 18 (build 10136)OS: Mac OSX 10.11.6In our network environment we have an authenticated proxy server for all internet facing traffic, which doesn't pose a problem with any AdobeCC apps with the exception of Dreamweaver. Shortly after launching the DW application we noticed persistent dialog boxes requesting proxy authentication. Upon checking our proxy logs we see that it's trying to go to a "local" site (specifically: http://127.0.0.1:58896/socket.io/socket.io.js) so instead of rendering any sites locally it is trying to go via our proxy.When the system proxy is disabled this is not a problem, so I tried adding 127.0.0.1 as a system proxy exception however the problem remained.It appears then that DW for Mac does not honor the proxy exceptions defined in the system configuration.Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Perhaps some location within the DW app that network proxy settings can be changed?ThanksJoel

In DW CC Vers. 18.0 I can't see the content of my includes in contrast to my DW CC (2015)!Here (German) DW CC Vers. 18.0 (no matter of shown in Live or Design view):and here (German) DW CC (2015). Shown as an example is the include on the left:Nancy and Paula did show me their working english Version. Could it be that this difference is owed to the different language versions?Well, I don't care, the main point is: Would you please help me with a smart solution.Hans-Günter

Hallo,ich bitte um eure Hilfe.Ich habe sämtliche Programme der Adobe Creative Cloud installiert. Alle funktionieren. Heute wollte ich Dreamweaver installieren, aber jedes mal wenn ich ihn starte bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung das es ein Problem gibt und das Programm geschlossen werden muss. Wir haben ein Haufen unterschiedlicher Lösungen probiert. Ordner gelöscht, mit einem lokalen Admin User gestartet, deinstalliert, neu installiert usw. Zuletzt haben wir die Creative Cloud sogar auf einem neuen Rechner installiert. Dort kam es zum gleichen Problem: Alle Programme funktionieren, nur der Dreamweaver lässt sich nicht starten. Weiß jemand woran das liegen könnte? Hat es etwas mit meinem Benutzer zu tun? Ich weiß leider nicht mehr weiter. Der Support konnte mir auch nicht helfen. Danke schon einmal im Voraus!

I'm loving the Device Preview option, but I'm a bit stuck trying to figure out if it's possible to set it up using includes.For instance, let's say that I load everything from index.php, which has "include($_GET['page'].'.php')" - so while I'm working on the index file, I can see the homepage just fine, but let's say in case of "index.php?page=contact" - I would need to edit the contact.php file, however, when I open that file, it wouldn't load through the index, it "thinks" it's own page... which makes sense, but is there any way to set it up so that I can open contact.php in Dreamweaver and see "index.php?page=contact" in the device preview?

Since I cannot reactivate my original DW CS3 (too old), I decided to subscribe to DW CC 2018.I have a number of sites in CS3. How do I open my site files in CC 2018? Or, how do I import them?

I want to put up an E-commerce site in order to test from time to time the shopping cart from the front end and work with the transaction in the backend. Working on localhost would be the cheapest way, but apparently it's impossible to do. Otherwise I have to purchase hosting to use a domain I purchased or else put the site in a folder in my hosting account. I do not like the latter idea, however, and have run into some SEO issues from having a website hosted in a folder in my hosting account.I could block the site from being indexed either using the robots.txt file or password-protect the folder, but that may affect the way the Paypal Sandbox works.
