i have a problem two finger scrolling in dreamweaver 8. and it only not working on dreamweaver. every other place scrolling is working fine..

Next to the QR scan code is the adobe.ly url, but there's no way for me to copy it. I can't even manually type it into the browser since when I go to the browser the code/url disappears. Is this a bug, or? thanks!

Hi, when I open the "theme style" in dreamweaver cs6 all html files slow down and get stuck all the time, as if they were to loade something... why? the problem is only the new theme style html5, example the theme acquired in the Templatemonster.comThe problem not present in the Dreamweaver 4.thanks.

Hey guys,I've got a huge problem with my template in dreamweaver. I know how to add a editable div but my problem is that every page content is different.What i mean is that on one page (if you add the text) you have to scroll down very long but on the other page there isn't much content and you don't have to scroll.Now i'm facing two problems:The short pages are as long as the long pages which allows you to scroll down very long, although there is nothing. I don't know how to add a footer which is always on the bottom (behind the last object). I hope you can help me or send me a link to a tutorial or something like that. Hi all,Using Dreamweaver CC 2017.0.1 on Windows 10When I switch between files, say an html file and CSS file, the position of the file moves to a different location when I switch back.  For example if I was looking at line 677 in the CSS file and switch away to HTML and come back, the CSS file might have jumped to line 123 or other seemingly random location.  At the very least, it moves up so the cursor is just off the the top of the screen.Is this a known bug or a setting that I need to disable?Thanks

HelloI have an old version of Dreamweaver - it's MX 2004 which I have been using on a PC to make updates to a website.I am not a developer, I just have basic knowledge of how to use it to update our own site.  I would like to move the program over to my mac, I still have the original discs but I am receiving a message "cannot open application, power pc not accepted.  My mac is on OS XEL Capitan.    Does anyone know if I will be able to run the program and how I do it?   I don't really need to purchase the new Dreamweaver as I don't use it often enough.  Many thanks to anyone who may be able to help.

This has been going on for along time (several previous versions as well) and I finally want to get an answer or explaination. I work in split code view and work between the source code and css files, as well as have several html files open at once (in tabs). One display window. Before I preview or upload I hit SAVE ALL, to save all the various changes on any number of files I just made little changes to. Sometimes all save and other times some don't. The * stays next to the unsaved ones (as expected). After I upload, if I hadn't payed attention to what didn't save,  the preview or online test doesn't reflect changes to those files and this flakey behavior is driving me nuts. Why when I hit SAVE ALL it doesn't save ALL the files, html and CSS file changes...guaranteed.To make sure, I have to go back and look for the *files and highlight that file, then save it with its tab live. It has always been flakey on what SAVE ALL saves, and usually not ALL. Is there a way to to this? What

This is a template that I have inherited from someone else. I have updated the nav menu. Notice that when you click from page to page there is a momentary skip of the menu to the left, then the menu centers itself. I'm having some trouble opening Dreamweaver. I've uninstalled it and downloaded it to start over, but I keep getting this screen upon start up:I have only opened Dreamweaver once before, months ago. Is there anything I can do, just as creating a document type? This only happens on my new work computer on my work Adobe account. My own personal account at home is perfectly fine -- I was playing around just yesterday night in Dreamweaver on a 2012 laptop with no problems! Thanks in advance!

I have hundreds of image files in my site and an awful lot of them have spaces in their names so they fail the File/Validate.  I could rename them outside of DW using a windows cmd line rename. but then all the pages referencing those files will fail as their code retains the old names.  I have to somehow do it within DW so DW pops up with "update links in the following files?" prompt and goes off and updates all the references.  Currently I am manually using Edit/Rename in the Files panel, changing the spaces to _   I'm confident its not possible! - please prove me wrong 🙂

Hi,Well here goes I'm new to the forum and I am copying a file from one folder to another and when I preview the page in a browser the menu-top.lbi is not their and menu-side-my-marines.lbi has opened up.When looking in code view this is missing <!-- #BeginLibraryItem "/Library/shared/menu-top.lbi" --> and I have no idea on how to recify this.Looking in code view at the menu-side-my-marines.lbi I cannot see any errors and I am just plain lost on how to resolve these issues.Any help on resolving these issues would be very welomed.

Dreamweaver 2017 is shutting down while I am working on my index page. It shuts down if I switch from design view to any code view. It also shuts down when I am working in properties and I click apply or ok. It seems to only happen in my index.html page. DW will not let me put the page on my remote page but it will get the files off of my remote page and put them on my local page. DW wizards say it is probably a code issue on my index page. I am not real savy on code but I do not see anything out of place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently started using CC and upgraded from using 2015 to 2017 for most applications. However, since I've upgraded to Dreamweaver CC 2017, I've had continued issues with the application running incredibly slow and/or completely locking up.At first I thought the issue might be related to the project files being located on an NAS, but after moving everything over to my local drive, the issues still continued. I remove the configuration incase it was corrupted and re-created all the sites from scratch. I also disabled the cache on each one of them, since that can sometimes be problematic as well. Issues still persisted.I downgraded from 2017 to 2015 and things have been working much much better. I'm starting to get the impression that 2017 is total crap. Some of the other issues are with how it forces you to use certain color schemes and won't allow you to customize as much as before.Is anyone else having this issue and is there a solution to fix it?

I have a menu bar near the top, just under the photo.  If you click on any of them, the link moves to the right and nothing happens.  This was working.  I must have done something wrong to cause this but cannot figure this out.Here is my website: www.centralohiohiking.org

Can this cumbersome procedure be prevented by me or corrected by developers?2.  Previously, I entered a non-breaking space quickly by typing "shift/command/space." Now in CC 17 (on a Mac using OS Sierra), I must type"shift / ampersand-7 / n / b ". Is there a way to get the easy-to-use "shift/command/space" keyboard shortcut to work? hitricky thing.i have a videofile of lets say 5mb in full hd , 5 seconds long, mutedthen i have the "home" site and another site withing my homepage (...yeah, what else:)so, now i want to go from my home site to the other site of my homepage following the link to the other site (...still, what else:)and now it gets tricky: instead of going directly from home site to this other site i want the videofile to be played automaticly + in fullscreen + automaticly forwarding to the other site i wantet to go to from home in the first place.like instead of : home -> link to other site -> other sitei want : home -> link to other site -> videofile in fullscreen +  autoplaying for 5 seconds (or whatever long the video will be) + automatically directing to -> other sitecant be so difficult i would assumeand as its redirecting to a subside of the homepage withing the same domain and not to an entirely different domain i hope/think it wont be a problem with the redirectionblocker i

Hi, I'm on a mac version: 10.10.5 and I just updated the OS system. When I opened Dreamweaver, I notice the update to the Dreamweaver software. I'm running Dreamweaver 2017. I was working a file ( .html ) and I noticed I made a mistake in the code and then I realized the "X" didn't appear at the bottom of the page. See the image I attached. I made a additional intentional errors but that green checkmark never changes. In the older version, it would've turned red with a "X". Any idea why I'm having this issue now and how can I fix it?

What software do you use to keep track of all of your clients' website information?  I currently use Outlook 2010 and plug most of my client's info into the Outlook Contacts.  Currently using PC, Windows 10, CS6 Master Collection.
