I'm trying to complete a assignment for class and I cant seem to find the extract button?

Is the design window with DW supposed to update in real time? Mine isn't, unless I click into it, which isn't realtime... external browsers do, though.

How do I delete multiple hyperlinks in Dreamweaver to different pages on a website? I’ve seen ways to delete all hyperlinks on a page or manually delete some hyperlinks, but not a way to quickly delete multiple pages to multiple pages on a website. Here’s my situation. I license 4,000-plus of my cartoons via a 1,000-plus-page Dreamweaver site (mchumor.com) and a 4,000-plus-page Managed WordPress/Woocommerce site (thekomic.com).  Each cartoon on the Dreamweaver site links to a DIFFERENT page on Wordpress site, a page that lets people download the cartoons directly.  As an example, if you go to https://mchumor.com/stonehenge-cartoons-pg1.html and click on the first cartoon, changing to Daylight Saving Time, it takes you to https://thekomic.com/cartoon/9060-daylight-saving-time-cartoon/ If you click on the second cartoon on the page about Easter Island underwater, it takes you to https://thekomic.com/cartoon/8843-ocean-cartoon/ Alas,

This is really simple, and really bad:The CODE edting pane JUMPS and moves text around while trying to edit/write/select/highlight code. Obviously this is a problem, no one wants text to JUMP around while editing code. Clearly demonstrated here:https://www.screencast.com/t/51B8uxdESZ  

Hello All, I upload with dreamweaver constantly and ever since last night I keep getting a "Waiting For Server" - "Operation Cancelled."? It does this in the middle of uploads and just stops - never really had that happen before so its confusing to me..I will say I noticed my macbook upgraded to the latest apple osx system randomly the other day after that everything seems to be not working like it was. So I wonder if that had something to do with it. I've uploaded the meesgae I get with uloading..Any HELP or IDEAS are welcome as how to fix? 

This is the HTML website I am having a problem with. http://sunrisecarhirebroome.com.au/  There are 2 rows of cars.  The bottom row next to the XTrail is meant to be the e-scooter. I have copied the code from the Xtrail for the escooter and changed the image and the title but it has dropped out of the row. I checked for unclosed divs and cant find any, checked parenthsis, colons etc and cant find any errors.I have gone crossed eyed looking for the error. I have added a div and then removed it. Maybe a fresh pair of expert eyes can show me where I have gone wrong. Thanks a million

Dreamweaver doesn't currently live up to its name. But I have an unsolicited suggestion for that.I'd like to have a chatbot that I could talk to built into the software. I'd like to be able to use ChatGPT and give it access to Adobe's code hinting and code completion features and open-source UI frameworks to create websites and apps conversationally. 

I need help with a problem I an having with using coding for dropcap that was coded several years ago. I am not familiar enough with coding, I just use the stylesheet that provided. In case you missed it, it's now official.  Microsoft permanently disabled Internet Explorer 11 with the Feb. 14th update of Windows 10. If you try to launch IE, you'll be directed to MS Edge.  Same goes for legacy users on Windows 8/8.1.

I am a somewhat new user to Dreamweaver 2021 (iMac running Big Sur 11.7) and have encountered an odd issue after my first ftp "put" to my published website.  I have just a few html files (all in the same directory, let's call it the home directory) along with javascript files in their own folder (/java) and css files and image files also in their own folders (/css and /images).  When I use the onboard ftp to put all of my files onto the remote server, Dreamweaver will no longer look for any local files contained in subfolders, but instead lists the remote copies (which does not work when I'm working on editing as this results in none of the java or css or images files working in dreamweaver).  The only work around I have found so far is to completely delete the managed site, and set it up as a new site (which then has Dreamweaver once again pointing to the local files, thus allowing me to see the actual site as it should appear).  Am I doing something wrong in how I

I am trying to make a web page with a spiral notebook in the background. The spiral wire needs to be in the left column. Can anyone give me some pointers? A simmple class shoud do it.

It beats me how Adobe wants to conquer the world and yet cannot implement an amazing feature like Auto-Save like VSC (a free software) have done. I may have missed a feature that lets you load the Preview seamlessly as you type code, but at the moment I have to manually save every time I change anything for Preview to show changes. If I have missed that game-changing feature, someone help me out,  please!

I am aware there are latency deficiencies within the Dreamweaver application for both Mac and Windows users that never seem to get resolved even after years of users complaints.  I have tried every single "Good Answer" posted in the community and still we are having the same issues many software versions later.  I have called the Support line only to be told I should have all of my files directly on my computer instead of a shared server.  All fine and good, but when you work on a team with thousands of clients it makes it difficult to edit changes from another users desktop.  When is Adobe going to get away from the mantra that Dreamweaver is best suited as a standalone single-user application.  I am performing a command-option-shift restart Dreamweaver while typing this to the community.  The app is currently "Updating the site cache" and it is literally taking a lifetime to complete.  To open Dreamweaver 2021 (iMac24-inch, M1, 2021 macos ventura v1

Where can I find decent step by step tutorials for latest version Dreamweaver on youtube - the ones within dreamweaver do not seem to be sequential and the link I was sent is for old interface 2015.  Really frustrating!  Best I saw on youtube was simonsezit but interface is old.

Hi - I have a tooltip set up and it works great. Now they want a link inside of the tooltip. So I added it in and it works fine except I'm having trouble with the CSS styling of the link. Right now, the link is showing up as blue text with an underline and I want it to continue to be underlined but just want to make the text color a light gray as the BG of the tooltip is black. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me with this. I did Google this but I got replies and nothing seems to work with my code. I recently had to reinstall xampp on my computer and now my Preview function in Dreamweaver CC is not working, When I try to use it I her this message:It looks like the webpage at https://localhost/newMHMGC/Secure-Signup-Sheet4.php might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.I have not moved anything. I configures xampp to load as a service on system boot and it is running. Any ideas?

Hello, I'm new to Dreamweaver (on MacAir) and I have a small question about a detection error. At the beginning everything worked fine until I duplicated the CSS file and renamed it without realizing it and since then, when I open the CSS and HTML file, I realize that I have access to the HTML file but not to the CSS file because it doesn't detect it, "... is not on the local disk" whereas everything is placed in one and the same folder then, at the beginning it worked so no error so I don't understand.I tried to re-download my files, to uninstall and reinstall DreamWeaver, to go to the settings but nothing works.Do you have any solutions?I put two pictures to situate you, thanks to you LM

I am using: Dreamweaver CC 2015PHP v 8.1.9MySQL  When I try to create database connection in dreamweaver, it gives me error message of "your php server doesn't have the mysql module loaded". Have tried multiple different ways, like shifting to older versions of php, downloading and placing php_mysql.dll, editing the php.ini file etc, but nothing worked. Please advise, as I am quite desperate to get this done as early as possible.

Somewhat irritating bug involving having a crash after switching to other applications. Going to and from my ssh session (or any other app) with the server im trying to connect to and dreamweaver causes a lockup that ends in having to start over. Thankfully i havent even started tampering with files yet so at least theres that. Is there a solution to this? It hasnt happened before. this is only my third site. I'm not sure but i think dreamweaver should support as many sites as i have space for ony my drive..
