If not, my apologies. "Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a Book (2022 Release)" is, according to Adobe, "The official training book from Adobe," as stated on the cover.  It is sold by Adobe Press. I cannot find a forum for this specific book.  Adobe Press has no forums.My question: Has anyone experienced, as have I, the total absence of anything about "Snippets" in this book, other than the word and nothing else appearing in nebulous places? It incredibly does not appear in the Index. The word appears solo in "Touring the workspace," "Working with predefined layouts," "Creating an external link," Finding and replacing text," and "Working with CSS preprocessors."  Five places. One word. No help on the subject. Am I missing something?  How in the world can this be? Any thoughts on this, folks?  By the way - $51.

Dreamweaver 21.3 installed, not sure if this is a new feature or a bug.  If its a new feature, please put the option in preferences for the end user to choose whether they want this new feature or not.  Please stop breaking Dreamweaver every few months. when using the pointing tool to link to an img file, it used to be that the height and width were automatically grabbed by DW to get those dimensions and add the attributes "height" and "width" for the amount of pixels.  Now when I use the pointer tool, i have to take an extra step to click on the "do not enter" icon (circle with half an x going thru it) to get DW to populate that info.  I shouldnt have to do two steps to get this info into my line of code, when for years, one step got it done.  If this is a new feature for whatever reason, put the option for the end user to use Legacy or the newer way to do it in Edit, Preferences!

title sayss all. It is impossible to use dreamweaver with a extrimely small interface. 

I recently updated Dreamweaver, and now it will not launch from my Windows 10 start menu.  It will only launch if I open Creative Cloud and select Open from there. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.When I launch from desktop or start menu, I receive an error saying it won't start because libcef.dll is missing.Any help?

Currently using dreamweaver 2021 and the code hints arent working they worked for about the first line and now no code hints are displaying at all. All my settings in the code hint area are correct. Ive restarted, reinstalled and still the same issue. Very annoying problem due to code hints being one of the main reason I use dreamweaver because it saves alot of time. I have no issues with an older version of dreamweaver I have on my other computer. Currently running windows 10 up to date. Any solutions on this or should I just downgrade back to an older version.

It would be very handy to be able to change the root folder from the new document window. It is odd that you have to find the option hidden in other menu's. Often when makeing new projects it is important to make a new root folder, so I dont know why its so hidden in menu's. It is something that people often want to do before makeing a new project, so it would be very handy to be a option on the Create New menu.

My website https://colinhiggins.com A bit of a strange problem with a link from the "Links" tab when navigating from that tab to the "Video" tab which manifests itself with a 404 error. The error arises because it tries to navigate to a page called "Videos" not "Video" but the coding on the two pages, Links/Video appears to be ok, and it doesn't happen when navigating from any of the other tabs, so I'm stumped and any help would be most welcome. Just to add the same error occurs when using my Android phone. TIA

On a random basis, Dreamweaver CC 2022 loses the server FTP user name and password. One day, I can upload files with no problem. The nextr day, I recive an eror message that an FTP caonnection cannot be made. I go to Manage Sites, click edit on the site, click servers, select a server ad click edit to find the username and password I set are blank. The FTP Address and Port still diplay, along with all the other information. Only the username and pasword are blank. I have to re-ente the username and pasword, test the connection and save the new information. I can then put files. I can go for weeks without having this problem. So...Dreamweaver (Mac OS 10.15.2) upgraded to 2022.  Yet again, all links to existing sites are erased (THIS SOOOO PISSES ME OFF...EVERY DAMN TIME!!!).  All the help posts say just find the .ste file and it will reload.  WHERE IS THE .STE file?  A search won't find it..I've looked everywhere. I try to reload it under "manage sites" and it says it still is there and won't load. Can someone explain this like I'm 70? (I assume a 5 year old could figure it out).

new (again) to Dreamweaver, purchased Adobe Classroom in a Book. and it is asking for (2022 release). I have version 21.3 and it does not like chapter 4 too much. So where do I get the 2022 release, I have check my version 21.3 for update and it states I am up to date.

Dreamweaver V21.3 Build 15593 Old Windows 10 PC has Dreamweaver installed, Site directories are on Dropbox, Site in question works on this PC. New Windows 11 PC also had Dreamweaver installed, same Site directories accessible via Dropbox. When attempting to update a HTML file to the server, Dreamweaver would error with "The connection to the remote host has been lost. Refresh to connect". This error was repeatable. In an attempt to 'insure' that I had the correst Site info in place, from the Windows 10 PC I did an EXPORT of site into and then went to the Windows 11 PC and did a Site IMPORT. Same error when testing... but... now I have a second entry in the "Your Sites" list (both pointing to the shared directories on Dropbox. On the Windows 11 PC in Site/Servers/More Options I clicked "Use Passive FTP" --- That fixed the server connection problem. Question: Since I have two Site names in my "Your Sites" which are the 'same' site... if I choose to DELETE on via

I'm looking for a way to go through a folder with HTML files and list the files that are missing a certain string. Is there a way to do this with Dreamweaver 21.2 in Windows 10? Thanks   

maybe I have no clue what i am doing but apparently styles.css  and styles.scss  cannot exist together in a folder. When I make the scss file - both files are then erased to blank. Toda vez que tento fazer a conecção com o banco de dados, usando o menu ( janela/bancos de dados) no modo design do dreamweaver 2022 aparece este erro. Já mudei a versão do php ate 8.0. Já tentei conecção com servidor local e servidor na web e o erro continua. Alguém pode me ajudar, não achei ajuda em canto nenhum.
