I'm also interested to know. I have an Enterprise ID account with two licenses, but I can't load CC onto my new Imac because of the same issues Martin was having.......
Hello,While trying to install Creative Cloud adobe package I receive this error. What do I need to do to get this installed? Thanks
We have been wrestling wit this for several years now. We have multiple machine licenses that frequently require support from our staff. In order install updates, staff members login into their CC user accounts which seems to deactivate the machine license. This leaves us chasing down and attempting to re-activate machine licenese which doesn't always work. So we're left in a loop of using a user license to access the software and not knowing when we can switch the machine back to a machine license. This seams like pretty dumb flaw in the licensing function. Is there a way to run a license server on our domain server that our machine licenses will always see? Is it possible to have both valid licenses running on the system. When the user logs out of the CC account, it would simply refer/revert to the machine license.
Recently the organization I work for started using Adobe Enterprise to assign Creative Cloud app licenses. Previously, app licenses were assigned to Adobe ID accounts on an as-needed basis. I have an Adobe Stock subscription attached to my Adobe ID (the same Adobe ID that was previously used for the app licenses). In the past, of course, there was a seamless connection between Stock and CC apps- I could license images directly to my CC Libraries and then access them in-app. Now that my apps are accessed through the Enterprise ID, I can no longer work seamlessly in this way.My question is this- is there a way to either merge or transfer the Stock subscription from the Adobe ID to the Enterprise ID? I have looked everywhere for information on this but haven't been able to find anything. Thank in advance for any input or help you may have!
Somehow I made a mistake in getting on a CCT plan for the entire year. I already had a All Creative apps plan through another account and I don't want to be charged for two memberships/contracts. I would like to see if its possible for an adminstrator to help cancel my CCT plan because there is a no way to do it on my end (no option(s) available). I also want to see if a refund for at least January if not both could be credited because I had a license sitting around not being used for anything, because I had no idea I had subscribed to this thinking their was a biulling mistake with my ongoing plan on my other account. At the very least I would like to convert it to a single apps plan only and utilize PS as my sole application. I've cancelled my current creative apps plan too. Can I get some help with this please?
I have the entire Creative Cloud Suite installed in 3 labs, and a number of smaller clusters of computers throughout the school that I work in. Upon logging into the Adobe Admin Console today, I see a notification bar across the top saying that device licenses are being retired as of 12/31/19, and that I should migrate to multi-user licenses instead, with a button to do so.Obviously, with the school year in full swing, that's not something I want to be jumping into just yet - most likely something I'll dive into during the summer. My question is this - what is the difference between device licenses and the new multi-user licenses? I haven't been able to find any documentation on the differences, and what migrating from device licenses to multi-user licenses means for us.
This first happened to me on Tuesday night. I was using photoshop and when I tried to do a quick export nothing happened. I kept trying and eventually saved everything and restarted the software. Upon opening the software I got a window that said:Membership ExpiredYou no longer have access to Creative Cloud. Please contact your Administrator to renew your membership and continue using Creative Cloud. My membership is fine. The last payment went through on 1/29. I am the administrator. When I log into my account there is nothing anywhere that says that my account expired or any money is due. I contacted Adobe via chat and was told this is a back-end issue and that it would take 2-3 days to resolve. I have an open ticket but there hasn't been any response. I was told I didn't do anything wrong, but what is going on? I already missed two $$ deadlines because I can't use any of my software...Is this happening to anyone else? Evan
I've deployed Adobe Reader DC using the msi and transform created with the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC. It install fine but when users first run Reader they are prompted for an administrator credentials because the program C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\ADelRCP.exe is trying to run.Our users do have local admin rights. How do I prevent this popup occuring on Reader startup and what does this ADelRCP.exe do?
I'm tasked with deploying Lightroom CC 1.5, but I can't make it work!I've been able to package a bunch of other programs, but this one isn't working the way it is supposed to. The installer doesn't complain, but when I start the program I'm asked for sign in. I even tried making a license package and run that. I can see my test computer in the device pool in the adminconsole, but it doesn't change the fact that the program requests sign in. Is there a solution to this?
Gracias!Natalia
Hello, i could not find the right answer for this on my own so I'm asking the here. Can someone confirm if shared device licensing is available outside of the education segment. looks like it may not be referencing the below as the value incentive plan seems its only available to schools.Licensing overview if this is not available for enterprise is there some form of licensing that is not locked to a single user, and could be available to address shared machines (like a meeting room) Thanks
I asked a question why i am not receiving answers from Adobe since I am PAYING them an enterprise account. However i was told that this is not adobe support but it is a public forum>>??!?!>!?WRONG!I need to sign in WITH MY ADOBE ACCOUNT to get to this forumYour WEBPAGE SAYS TO USE THE FORUM FOR HELPAdobe Chat IS NOT ACCEPTABLE for a subscription based expensive packageNOBODY HAS THE TIME TO CHATAdobe's contact page has NO EMAIL SUPPORTMy vendor who manages my licenses DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO DOI hope this is a clear message to Adobe to start fixing their stuff and their support. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE!Many other people are experiencing the creative cloud app breaking itself and needing a re-installNOBODY HAS TIME TO REINSTALL EVERYTHING FOR AN EXPENSIVE SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE SOFTWARE LIKE THIS ONE! HelloMaybe someone in here can assist me. So i am trying to get Single Sign On to work for our organization. When in the configure directory section i follow the sets provided to copy the cert we use for our AD FS and when i click save i get an error saying"There was a problem saving your configuration - check the values you entered and make sure you are uploading a valid (PEM base64-encoded X.509) certificate."I did save the cert as a base64-encoded x.509 cert too from the FS server. Is there anything else i could try or any other work around for this anyone might know?Thank you
Does anyone know of a report that I could run to let me know when users lasted logged in to the products allocated to them?
I'm setting up a SCCM offline deployment of Acrobat DC Pro. I don't want this to overwrite the users current default app setting - most users have it set to Acrobat Reader - nor do I want anything that will regularly overwrite their settings. Is there any way to set the installer to not overwrite the default apps for .pdf etc?Because of hot-desking we have to deploy DC Pro to all desktops, but only a small number of users will actually use the product, the others will be using Reader for most of their pdf needs. I'd use a GPO to set the default to Reader, but that then complicates things for users who do use Pro or other program for PDF's.
Ok so I've got a SharePoint 2013 environment on Server 2012 R2 and Adobe Acrobat 2017 standard edition on Windows 10Working with Microsoft I've tweaked SharePoint so that when you click on a link to a pdf within SharePoint then it opens within Adobe Acrobat outside of the browser without issue. When I select the same file and click edit though I get a pop-up message saying "We're sorry, we couldn't find a program to open this document".According to the Microsoft tech the outstanding edit issue is because in the Manage-Add On section of IE / Edge the add on "Adobe Acrobat SharePoint OpenDocuments Component" is installed, but disabled and the option to enable is greyed out.He indicates if I can get this add-on to work my error should go away. The difficult part is this is deployed enterprise why so I have to come up with a deployable solution.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
How can I get Acces to Admin console??
Hello, great and powerful Adobe Community Forums. I work for a government agency where we've just been supplied with new workstations as replacements for ailing machines. The Adobe CC Desktop App launches automatically on startup, but it looks different on the new installation and appears stripped of it's functionality. The image on the left (below) shows how it looks on our old machines, the image on the right is what we get now. As you can see, we're no longer able to install or update any Adobe software. We updated the Desktop App to version 4.7.0.400 after noticing the version that came installed was a 2017 release, but the problem persists. When I click on "manage account" under my user I.D., my browser opens to an Adobe web page ("Adobe Account, Overview"). Clicking "Download Apps" brings me to what looks like an online version of the desktop app. All the Adobe CC apps are listed on the page with an "Install" button, even though several of
Hi! Our corporate network is behind a rather tight firewall and web gateway arrangement. When we try to download Adobe products (either Creative Suite or Acrobat DC), our firewall/gateway block it. Logs show that Adobe redirects download requests to one of quite a few different download servers. Trying to put in rules for each server is a real pain. Is there either 1.) an authoritative download server where we can always point our client PCs to, or 2.) a definitive list of download servers used in US / Germany that we whitelist? I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a separate Adobe update server, not am I thrilled with having to do SCCM packages for each product. We have the Team option.

I am testing out Remote Update manager, in our company. As we've for some reason been using SCCM to deploy Adobe Applications, to limited success. Now i've created a package via the Admin Console. With all the options ticked. As shown below. Now its installed, and i've signed in.However when ever I try to use RUM to update the application, it gives the following error. Also the following error. When I try use the product version command i get the following. Now i am running CMD as Admin.I don't know what is causing this error.IF i need to provide logs, i will be happy to provide them.Any help would be awesome.
I have about 300 PCs that I administer remotely. These are all Windows 7 32-bit systems (don't worry, they'll be upgraded to Windows 10 by the end of the year) which I can ONLY access via ssh command line. Any updates I run are via batch script. These systems were very locked down for our users via Group Policy. We used to have the system tray (aka the "notification area") hidden via Group Policy. Due to a new app, we had to unlock the notifications area, but now we are constantly getting "you need to update Adobe Reader" even though when reader was originally installed, it was set to "manually update" because I've been manually updating it all along. The whole point of my choosing the "manually update" option was so that our users wouldn't be annoyed and think they need to update their systems. All these systems need to match and we don't want a hodgepodge of systems out there. We don't want our users to see these update notifications. It
Hi all,We are running a remote-desktop farm of around 50 users, only around 4 of these are using DC pro. When each user sign's in, an instance of creative cloud and 'Adobe CEF Helper' is starting up (totalling to 50 instances of each).Because we are running a remote-desktop farm, typical functionality such as msconfig -> startup items is NOT available (or such as in windows 10, going into task manager and clicking the startup tab is not available either).I have also tried going into shell:startup and trying to find a startup folder in \programdata, but to no avail. Is there a registry setting of value 1/0 that can be amended to allow/prevent this startup when a user logs in? Otherwise, I can only see setting up a group policy specifically for the DC Pro users to allow the program to run and block it for all other users (which seems a bit overkill.. hopefully there's functionality to manage this from IT perspective). Having each user sign-in and select the 'no not startup' is not an op
