We install creative cloud manually to the end users then install the adobe products they are entitled to. It takes around 30 mins just to do a manual install of adobe CC so can we can package it up it in SCCM ? Also is it possible to have all the apps packaged, so that the end users doesn't need to contact IT team for credential ?
Our school uses Creative Cloud with our instruction of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc. The ability to access and share files between students and teachers has been wonderful. Creating shared folders for my classes allows me to push out images and collaborate on projects. I can also share files easily with co-teachers.Often, our students complete the online tutorials at their own pace. As a teacher, it would be a game changer if I could create a class (similar to how I currently create a shared folder in CC), invite or populate my students and then have the ability to track their progress with these individual tutorials. Currently, my students can see their own progress (image below), however the ability for a teacher to also see this would be awesome. Is this possible? Could it be added? Thanks!
I am following the Tutorial: Azure Active Directory integration with Adobe Creative Cloud | Microsoft Docs Where do I get the following from in step 3?Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL)&Required Identifier (Entity ID)Thanks in advance
I'm using Remote Update Manager (RUM) to update computing lab computers. I thought RUM would only install point-release updates (like Photoshop 19.0 to 19.1.7) and I haven't had any issues in since I started in September. However, I just got a report that Lightroom was asking for an Adobe ID, so I checked and I see RUM updated Lightroom 7.5.0.1186149 to 8.0.0.1193777 on Windows PCs (same on macOS, but I don't have the exact versions available), and this resulted in Lightroom no longer working in our serialized labs. Is this expected behavior or some kind of mistake?
I purchased the Adobe creative cloud 2017 license for Mac, but my programs stop working and the window pops out and asking for the serial number last night. I have only license code and no serial number. Does anyone know what happened? I did not associate with Adobe online subscription services, and also don't need it.And I don't have the Adobe account with it.
Hey Jeff,Our district is having issues with this currently also and are trying to get information from OETC on why our license is expired. After placing a different license in the license field, the application asks for an email/password combo. If I put in my own, since I am the admin for the admin console, it says that I have already used my 2 licenses. We have a site license from OETC and even in our admin console, we have over 50 licenses still available. I currently have multiple classes scrambling to find things to work on besides the projects they have in Adobe programs. Is there a solution for this yet?

I work in the IT department of a state healthcare agency and due to HIPAA concerns we would like to roll out the latest creative cloud suite without the option to sync files to the cloud or store files on any internet based service in the creative cloud desktop application. Unfortunately from what I've read, this option is only available to Education Institutions. Is there a work around for this? Is there a registry key or file that can be changed, replaced, or deleted after installation that will block users from storing files on the cloud? We have over 200 computers to roll acrobat pro out to and most of those computers are in our legal and finance department so it's critical that we keep those users from storing files on the cloud and It's not ideal for the users to have the option to turn file sync on or off. Thank you for any support you can provide.
Hallo!
Well, on Top of this whole thing it sounds like Adobe will be adding another 20% to the licensing cost when the new solution rolls out. Sort of like pouring vinegar on an open wound and grinding in salt to finish the job. Sigh ... wonderful software, but wow! I don’t know about anyone else on here, but yearly subscriptions are starting to cause serious problems for our small non-profit.
I have a standalone copy of Adobe Acrobat, I deployed a new laptop that I need to install it on but I think I need to deactivate it to put it on another laptop. We have had it since 2015 but the email it was linked to changed because the person got married and there was a name change. I am trying to get A HOLD OF SUPPORT so I cantry to give them key code to change that info.
Jeff, One problem that Adobe may not be aware of is for those of us who also have a Typekit/Adobe Fonts subscription. I too updated to 2019, and have to roll back to 2018 for now. However, the Creative Cloud desktop application is where I have to download the fonts from the Typekit subscription. So, I have to have that app even with a license - because how else will Adobe verify that I'm able to use the fonts I've selected? On another note, since I have a license through my university for Creative Cloud, and the fonts are now included - will there be refunds for Typekit subscriptions, since those are now included in Creative Cloud?
I have come across several instances where a device has duplicated itself in the console, i.e. the same name shows up twice. The only difference between the two is that one device was last activated at an earlier date than the second device of the same name. Talking to IT all I can find is that those machines have been re imaged at some point.I read somewhere that the device license doesn't need to be reinstalled when a computer is re imaged but it now seems to me it needs to be both unistalled and reinstalled to avoid the issue of duplicates in the console. The problem is of course that they take up double the amount of licenses. What would the correct procedure be if a computer need to be re imaged, or is there some other reason this duplication happens? Can I simply deactivate the older duplicate or will that affect the newer version?
Since a few weeks PS 2018 started crashing in our managed AD environment (Win 10 1709) on different machines and fresh installs. We tried rolling back to 19.1.4, a version known to have worked, this did not fix the problem. It only occurs on limited user profiles with active folder redirection. Works fine when run as local admin. Other CC Apps are fine. The settings folder is being generated:\\dfs\<path to appdata in user home>\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 SettingsThere is NO crash report being generated, no Event log entry, there is a folder "Absturzprotokolle" in settings folder and PhotoshopCrashes in %temp%, both empty.I can provide a zip with all logs created during startup in %temp% though i see no way to attach it in this forum. I can provide a link in a private message if needed.
Please let me have a sample xml file, which is InTune compatible, with configuration for removing DropBox and Other Locations from the deployed app.I have already visited Enterprise Mobility Management — Enterprise Guide for Acrobat on Mobile Devices Thanks!
Currently, my organization has about 19 installations of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and 2 installations of the full Adobe CC suite. I installed and configured AUSST on a server and deployed RUM to all user workstations. All workstations also have the Creative Suite desktop app.To install updates, I remotely run a command on all PCs:"cd <folder where RUM is>RemoteUpdateManager"This works to update the 2 Adobe CC users' apps but it does not update Acrobat Pro DC. I receive the following message:"<folder where RUM is>RemoteUpdateManager version is : 2.2.0.2Starting the RemoteUpdateManager...****************************************************************************************************No new applicable Updates. Seems like all products are up-to-date.RemoteUpdateManager exiting with Return Code (2)"Any ideas why this isn't installing?Editing to add more info:I have run the above command as administratorThe current version of Acrobat Pro DC is 18.011.20040 Thanks,

Hi,I've got an internal AUSST server that pulls updates directly from Adobe and I want my endpoint clients to pull the updates from the internal server using the overrides file created in the Creative Cloud Packager tool. However, I can't seem to get the endpoints to pull from the server, and they can't access Adobe themselves so we're currently unable to use Creative Cloud in our environment.I opened a support call with Adobe, but they closed the call saying I'd not responded within 24 hours, despite me having responded within three hours and sending the files they requested via email.Any help is much appreciated.Thanks.Tom
Is there documentation to help understand the use of the .p12 file in the preflight folder? A folder and a password protected certificate is generated each time Adobe is updated and it is a security concern that I'd like to cover. Screenshot attached.
Dear Adobe,I'm an art director at an ad agency. Our designers use your products on both desktop macs and ipads every day.Apps like Adobe Draw and Adobe Sketch are potentially very useful to us... Unfortunately there's a large barrier to their use in a professional capacity. The apps are great for starting a project, but not for finishing. To finish, one would want to transfer the files into photoshop or illustrator. The only way to do that transfer is to use creative cloud. There is no way to wire transfer, email, or airdrop the file... you MUST use creative cloud. This creates a major road block for us because we can't sign into your ipad apps with our enterprise ID. It returns an error message. So we can't transfer our files. Our current workaround is to:1. sign into ipad apps using a dummy CC account or personal CC account2. log out of our Enterprise CC account on desktop software3. login with the dummy account on desktop software4. transfer files to creative cloud which doesn't always wo
Hello,We have seen an uptick in issues with the Nov 13th update related to "Out of memory exception issues"I have read in other threads that you require us to turn on logging to capture info that you need? Is there anything elseCreate the following registry key :HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumpsFollowing are the steps:Create the registry key LocalDumps if it is not present already.Reproduce the problem (i.e. make the application crash).Locate the crash dump file in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps. Note that if the crashing application runs under the System account, that resolves to C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\CrashDumps.Share the crash dump file.We have read through the known issues and haven't quite seen anything related to what is already on your radarKnown issues | Adobe Acrobat DC, Reader DC
