Good morning, I installed on a server XenApp 7.18 (Windows Server 2012 R2 in English) Adobe Reader DC with the July update (2055), but randomically when users print, nothing happens. The only solution is to get them out of the session and bring them back. Can you help me? Thank you
The questions I'm trying to answer are whether it is possible to patch existing Reader DC client installations (not the AIP itself) without uninstalling and reinstalling (our current practice) and what specific command to use to send the update. Executing the command below I get "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service..." error.msiexec.exe /i "xyz\acroread.msi" /update "xyz\AcroRdr2017Upd1701130105_MUI.msp"Is it possible to just install the .msp file without calling the original .msi? If so what is the command for that? For reference our AIP process is like this: (from another post but describes it well)1. Create an AIP for the base version of Acrobat by using the following commands (Base Release):msiexec /a <xyz\AcroPro.msi or AcroStan.msi> TARGETDIR=<different path to folder where the AIP must be created> 2. Apply Patch (MSP) using below command (you will get the msp from the extracted folder <xyz>:msiexec /a <path
We need to be able to set a default configuration in Adobe Acrobat Pro so that all our employees can work by default with this configuration. We have already configured one of them. Is it possible to export the configuration and apply it to the rest of the employees?Thank you.
I have followed the following steps when installing Acrobat Pro 17 in my VDI scheme as an appstack:VMware Horizon Deployments — Enterprise Administration Guide Common Deployment Options — Enterprise Administration Guide (two of us have run this prov.xml file generator independently on different workstations and appstacks and had the same outcome during testing). We have Acrobat Reader installed in our Gold Image. vSphere 6.7, AppVol Manager 2.14.2.11, Horizon 7 Administrator, Windows 10 LTSB, using writeable volumes, and instant clones. It launches for most people (except for one person) but eventually pops up with an error that reads: "Adobe Acrobat Adobe Application Manager, required to run your trial, is missing or damaged. Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager_en_il." The one person it does not launch for gets that warning immediately. Everyone else so far can click "Ok" and continue using Acrobat for a short while. Ac
with recent security concerns is there a "simple" supported way to disable all and every feature in acrobat reader, just allowing it to display a PDF? Or is there another product for this? Still using windows 7.p.s editing the registry in 100 places to do this is not simple.

Last year, we deployed Adobe Acrobat DC with a perpetual license key with offline exemption. Within the last week, some users, less than 5%, have been prompted to log in when starting the application rendering it unusable. The current workaround is to uninstall then reinstall the software and we're looking for a better way. What is the best way to troubleshoot this issue?Adobe Acrobat DC (2015) - 15.006.30456Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise - 10.0.17134 Build 17134
Hi all,I can see a lot of material on here which although recent (2018) is either out of date or not working (references to the FTP site for example)Im looking for a best practice approach to using Acrobat Reader which I can deploy in the enterprise and mananage via GPO / ADMX.Can I be pointed to a link which works or ADMX files, and a relevant working doc please?I have already spotted a number of articles ranging from Powershell modules to hand crafting policy preferences, none of which work as described due anything from content requirements no longer being downloadable, or scripts etc just not working. If this isn't achievable, We will be forced to move to an entirely different product, just to view PDFs, which can be managed my GPO.

Hi,I am package CC 2018 but we have several CC2015. I would like to force removing older version of CC when the installation is occurring. Is it possible to do so?Thanks,François
Inadvertently allocated too many CC licences and as a result 5 were flagged as requiring payment. Deactivated a number of licences, when then brought us below the licence limit, however 5 were still showing as requiring payment (even after waiting 24 hours). We then deactivated these device licences, but don't know how to reactivate?

Thanks alot in advance.

Hi all,I have a package with Indesign, PS, IL and some other applications. The Indesign-version is 11.4.1. I need specifically that old version and it's unavailable in the Package-tool.Would it be possible to remove all the other Applications from my existing Package so I end up with an Indesign-only package ?I presume it takes more than just removing the other applications from the Contents/Resources/Setup folder.Any tip/guidance is welcome.Thank you in advance,Ralf
Hello, i have mix adobe acrobat version starting 10 till DC i have a question " How i can upgrade to Adobe Acrobat DC and pushed via SCCM"Also i have SCCM 1806
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum but here is my question. I am charged with deploying our 400 (100, 100, and 200) device licenses of Creative CloudI log into the Creative Cloud Packager using the bottom option (Creative Cloud desktop apps for Education)but when faced at the license settings I have two options:Serial Number LicenseNamed LicenseAll three of my licenses are for 100 or 200 devices . I dont have options to add named users since it not that type of license. I didnt recieve a serial number for each of my licenses but I not sure how to proceed. I found a single older key in LWS for creative cloud but not for my current licenses.
Hi,I have a discussion with my partners about implementing or not AUSST. The main question is what are the size of the updates. From what I see the latest Pro msp was around 300mo but what is the average for the other CC products? What is the frequency? Thanks,
When trying to install Adobe Acrobat Pro package downloaded from the console, below error appears:From the information, it looks that some process is conflicting, but I don't know which one. Could anyone tell me how to solve this?
Hi,From the website: Use Adobe Remote Update Manager1, I am reading to update with RUM Pro or Reader I would have to use:--productVersions=APRO#15.0: Deploys updates of Adobe Acrobat DC with major version 15 on Win32, Win64 and OSX10-64. For Acrobat installations with major version other than 15, appropriate major version needs to be used in place of 15.0.--productVersions=RDR#15.0:as parameter. However, Reader is not installing RUM. We may download it from the website but with CC, OOBE_Enterprise directory is created on RUM installation. From the admin console there is only the exe and it is failing as OOBE_enterprise is not created. This is bad.So is it possible to update Reader with RUM?2. From that page:Adobe Creative Cloud Packager apps deployed without their base version present APRO is not list as productversions for RUM. So what am I missing?3. What should be the productversions for Creative Cloud application? Thanks,François
