I'm in the process of moving a number of users from one VIP to another, so we only have one active. I've set up the admin of the defunct account as an admin on the combined one, however, he cant see it at all. Following the email link just takes him into his old account, and the new account isn't visible to him anywhere. We've run the process the other way, making me an admin of his account, and that worked fine. Any idea what's wrong?
I have one license and I use one license. Why at Menu Product alert message "You've reached the limit of licenses available for users. Please purchase additional licenses or unassign licenses from other users."
HI All,I have 20 PCs which i have deployed Adobe CC to,I have created a serializer to activate them. The serializer works and activated the Adobe Apps but when the PC restarts, due to the configuration at my establishment, the OS refreshes and deletes all created files except predetermined Applications like AdobeCC. (Virtual PSs you find at colleges)Is there a way to run the Serializer as an administrator at system boot .Is there any script i can use? Thanks in Advance!

Is there an Adobe product that can convert C4, JEDMICS or CALS files to PDF? The C4 files are blueprints so I need to be able to zoom and manipulate the image without distorting it. I tried printing the image directly from the C4 file and save to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but it didn't work. When I zoomed in on the image it distorted it.
I am trying to determine who *really* uses Acrobat Pro (licensing wise) and would like to force a default association of PDF files with Reader DC instead, as a way to let our environment tools (bigfix, SCCM) determine who really fires up Pro for its features and therefore really needs it (otherwise once pro is associated with PDFs it will always preempt reader and open it first, which gives us false positives on actual usage of Pro). I know the manual ways to do file associations, possibly GPOs, but we would prefer a registry key we can push more controllably if possible... If there a key that lets you change default assignment of PDF files to open with Reader DC only (and remove Acrobat Pro as the default) - if there was we could push that to the entire environment group by group (better than GPO) which would be friendlier than uninstalling pro wholesale and see who really complains and needs it... I looked at HKCU\SOftware\classes, open with.... HKLM\Software \classesHKEY_CLASS
I was told by our security team to upgrade the creative cloud application on all our managed pc's/mac's - its mostly been a huge headache (especially as I found the Adobe Remote Update Manager tool won't upgrade this for me), but I've finally finished a script that does the upgrade and I noticed that Creative Cloud Packager still builds packages with the old version. This is reference to the security bulletin posted here: Adobe Security Bulletin - says to upgrade to version 4.6.1 reading over it - it seems like a rather serious vulnerability (privileged escalation - basically the worst a vulnerability can be) - so I'm shocked that the Creative Cloud Packager is still building old versions .

Hi,I am deploying the Creative Cloud App in my enterprise using the self-service package (users can install adobe apps without admin permissions). The problem is that by default the apps that the user installs are installed in their userprofile. It's possible to change it manually in the app (for example to C:\Program Files(x86)) but I need to do this for all my users, without them having to do anything. Is it possible to change the install location in other ways? Like a registry key, config file or something else that I can easily deploy through Group Policies? From my understanding, using the setup.exe switch --ADOBEINSTALLDIR only installs the CC App in that location, right? The setting in the screenshot below is the one I want to change. We are deploying this on machines running Windows 10 x64.Thanks in advance,Robin
I am electronically signing a pdf but my email appears in the signature instead of my name how can I adjust this?
Using the adobe templates under packages in the admin console. I created a creative cloud desktop application package. I selected the option to allow"Allow non-admin to update and install apps". On the majority of comptuers this is working. Non admins are able to install and update Adobe programs fromthe creative cloud desktop. On some computers, randomly, this setting isn't honored and non-admin users are prompted for a computer account that has admin permissions. If I go to the configuration file, (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\Configs\ServiceConfig.xml) and change the value for "SelfServeInstalls" "true" to "false", save the file. Restart the computer, change the value back to "true" then sometimes the issue is resolved and non-admin users can installand updatesoftware. Trying to figure out why sometimes the setting is honored and sometimes it isn't.
I am curently looking at installing Adobe DC Standard on a virtual server and have a few questions. 1) This remote desktop environment is used by multiple users however not all of the users will require Adobe Standard is it possible to only license a portion of the total users.2) There is a possibility in the future that there will be a pool of remote desktops. multiple remote desktops (same environment) that users will be load balanced between. do i need to purchase a license for each user for each server? or can the one license be used regardless of what server they connect to? Thanks,

We have multiple Adobe accounts, which are used at different locations, but come from single ip address. And our users almost terrorized with CONSTANT CAPTHA and email authentication code-requests.Adobe support claims that Captcha comes from Google. But email codes from Adobe keep coming even if this feature is disabled in control panel. First query ADB-3338912-Q8Z5 was closed as resolved without doing anything.Second query was dropped because i was visiting bathroom waaaay too long.Third query ADB-3463640-M9B3 was closed with incoming call via phone saying "we resolved the situation", but guess what, nothing was resolved. Issue still there.I don't have hopes for official atrocious "support", but would like to ask real users. Do any of you run into such situation with irksome email codes from adobe? Is there any workaround to fix this modern mess?
In a VS 2017 Winforms VB application dealing with package designs, predominatly based on PDF files, I felt the need to provide a preview of those files in several points along the workflow. At first I used a third-party component, but in some cases the designers created one or more hidden layers in the PDF files and they were all made visble by the component, obviously creating some confusion. In the begining of April I decided to use the Adobe ActiveX control instead, with good results since then ( AcroPDF.dll, which in my Windows 10 machine the Acrobat Reader DC installer placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX ).However, yesterday I had to make a slight change in a form ( not related with PDF files ), deployed the application, and a few hours later some users reported an exception in several forms using the PDF viewer ( "Could not load file or assembly 'AxInterop.AcroPDFLib', Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral"... ).At first I thought I could have inadvertent
CC Manage App deleted so can't update. How do you contact Adobe? We have CC for teams and support options include Phone, Chat, email yet these are not available.HELP!!
Hello, all installations of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC are stuck on version 15.10.20056 on the workstations of our Creative Cloud team."Check for application updates" is saying the we are running latest version. Please let me know, if I can provide any log files etc. to help solving the error.Regards
Hello,I'm a computer lab manager at a college, and our lab runs Creative Cloud for Education (Device Licenses) for several Mac computers. When a student signs in to the Desktop app (then signs out after use), something happens to the license so that when the next student tries to sign in and launch an Adobe product, they get a pop-up window that says to either register the product, or start a seven-day trial. The internet connection is good, which we test by opening a browser and accessing the internet.I am able to reset the device license with a license package I created through the CC Packager program, but it can be rather annoying when this happens on a constant basis... especially when the whole idea behind the device license, is to allow different users to sign in with their Adobe ID so that they can access items in 'their personal cloud,' such as special fonts from Typekit. Is there any workaround to allowing multiple users access Adobe products on a computer that has a device licen
Hi, What I have to do to cancel the subscribtion to Adobe Illustrator? Is there an email address to contact? Because I didn't find It.Thanks in advanceJessica
I work for a company that has purchased Adobe Cloud for Teams. How much Cloud storage does each seat have, and can additional storage be purchased as we need it?
Frustrated, apologies in advance for any tone. I'm a fan of Adobe and am sure my current challenges are due to my ignoranace and not something missing in Adobe's processes.I am attempting to install Adobe Acrobat.I created the package from our Admin Console as a managed install, all options disabled. This produces a zipped build and exceptions package with a setup.exe in /build. Running the setup.exe fails with error code 19, conflicting apps. There is no pop up that details the specific applications. There are no specific dependent apps noted in pdaapp.log except the failure on code 19 as:08/31/18 14:30:39:009 | [FATAL] | | ASU | MSIInvoker | MSIInvoker | | | 16600 | The return code from the Adobe Installer Process is (19).Stopping the installation process. The KB for this says: "Close all apps or reboot and try again." That does in fact clear the error for us. Unfortunately, this isn't a workable solution for us in an Enterprise environment. We need to be able to for
Hi Adobe,I recently tried to remove a few unused licenses from our team account, but was unable to do so online. After multiple tries (on hold several times for more than 20 minutes, on chat with unresponsive agents), I finally got ahold of a customer service agent via chat (Kumar). He was able to cancel my membership, which took about 30 minutes of messaging back and forth, but wasn't able to extend a refund for our unused licenses, which was billed last week on August 18. This has been a super frustrating experience, for what should be super easy for a creative manager - adjusting software needs on the fly. Can you help with this? Is there a better way to do this in the future? Is there any way to get a refund for this unused month that I've been billed for in advance?
I have a distribution license for Adobe Reader Dc and need the DC Customization Wizard. The link on the adobe enterprise tools page points to ftp.adobe.com Welcome to the Wizard — Acrobat Customization Wizard DC for Windows These links are dead since the Adobe pub FTP site now requires a logon. You can no longer go directly to the link ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/misc/ This must have changed in the last few months. I was always able to got directly to the ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub in the past. Help!
